We booked the hotel partly because the pools looked nice but they were too dirty to even swim in. The breakfast was bad. The hotel is like a labyrinth. Hard to find around and just one elevator that is reeeeally slow.

The property and service were amazing but my balcony looked out into the tanning deck with plenty of foot traffic making us feel on display while in our room. There was no coffee maker or espresso machine in the room. Valet parking meant they took our car to a lot and then we had to find it later which involved walking through the maze of the hotel. The service at the front desk and with the gentlemen that helped us with our bags was incredible and I have nothing bad to say about them.

Beautiful views, just be prepared for lots of up and down stairs and a maze-like layout of the hotel as a result on being built on a hill

The hotel was under renovation and it was noisy and dirty. The restaurant and the bar was combined and the selection was poor. The bed should have been replaced about 15 years ago - as go with the furnitures. We made a complaint at check out and later to hotels.com. When hotels.com contacted the hotel the denied recieving any complaints. There are 2 nice things to say about this hotel: 1: the view from the room was nice 2: the receptionist was fast at check in

Very good hotel. Breakfast fine. The room had à fantastik view. Two minus: parking was bad. You had to walk a long way in hills. Far away from the beach and long way to walk back to the hotel in a hill.

Room had a great view! Shower head was broken and spewed water over everything. Restaurant food was mediocre and expensive. The free breakfast was good. The parking was horrible.

A terrible experience! The property is vastly outdated and poorly maintained. Very unclean facilities! Front desk staff are totally inept and complacent. Rooms have zero decorations and are the most spartan I have ever seen. Hotel layout is like wandering through a maze. No assistance with luggage and no convenient parking.

First the good- there is a large car park for visitors to the hotel which is free. The breakfast is very good with a pleasant pool side location with fine views. Nearly all the rooms have a sea view. Then the bad- the layout of the hotel is a nightmare. Some sections of floors do not connect with others on the same floor. Only safe policy is to go down all the way to reception and set out again. To get to our room one had to go up to the third floor and then down stairs to a tiny separate part of the second floor. The room had no balcony although the literature said all rooms had a balcony. (probably reserved for those booking through Expedia). Evening meal included a dish that was absolutely revolting. They did however deduct the cost from the bill. The architect should be condemned in perpetuity to roam the corridors rescuing lost guests. On no account try to find your way back to the upper car park without a guide unless you have marked the way with a ball of wool.

The location was good and the views across the bay were very good

The place where the hotel is located is beautiful. Great views of the sea and the coast when you stay at the gorgeous pool. The clerk is super. Rooms are huge and clean and comfortable. Bathroom with all amenities needed. Breakfast is more than wonderful. Definitely a hotel to go if you want to relax and enjoy the view of the ocean. Then sign in the entrance could be bigger to facilitate find the hotel.

very good overall, comfortable hotel, very clean, good location. Loved the big pool on the 4th floor 33 metres long! Lovely breakfast! Loads of choice and friendly staff. Only negative was I asked 3 times for the shower attachment on the bath to be fixed and it wasn't over the whole week we were there. Quite a big deal for us so the hotel gets a big black mark for that! Special mention for Arrika or Erica? our waitress at breakfast. Big smile each morning and couldn't do enough for us and went the extra mile.... big thank you.

Not a bad hotel, but not a 4 star as claimed, the food in the restaurant not great for the prices , breakfast was absolutely rubbish , quite a steep walk back up the hill from the town , we wanted a drink when we got back the only bar is by the pool and shuts at 6pm the only other place to get a drink was the restaurant which shut at 9.30 pm , the views are nice , there was as a wedding taking place on the Saturday so nobody could use the small pool by the restaurant, we had an ok stay but wouldn't pay nearly 300 euros for 2 nights there again and that doesn't include the city tax

This is a hidden jewel. It’s at a great location with beautiful ocean view from the rooms. Breakfast was great. Can’t wait to go back!

Everything was fabulous. The room was gorgeous, the bed was extremely comfortable, only issue we had was the internet service was intermittant.

Need to let guests know it is not for people with limited mobility.

I stayed two days at the hotel in early September. It lies outside the town on a cliff, but thanks to a funicular the town is easily reached on foot in ten minutes. The hotel has a private pool and gives access to a large public one as well. The latter has a bar that closes 7pm. There is no lounge in the hotel itself and the breakfast/dinner area is a bit bland. Breakfast is standard, but staff is slow. E.g. they didn't clean tables for new arrivals. But location and general impression are good. Wouldn't go here in winter.

Amazing location, beautiful view of the city and the sea, food is ok but not the best, better outside. Pool was big with amazing view, downfall of this hote was they charge 30euros per person to use the beach which we thought was ridiculous.

One of the most beautiful hotels of the world. It has character. The interior is phantastic, the pools are big and nice. Very big, very nice and very clean rooms. Big fridge. Very gentle and helpful staff. Children can jump into and can have water unicorns. The hotel loves children and families. It is a phantastic hotel for families, wide and open. The food is excellent. The funiculare takes you to the beach or the small town of Arenzano. All in all a perfect hotel for your stay.

It was so relaxing, secenery was amazing private beach was lovely as other beaches in area where very busy, an easy walk into the town too.

We hiked from the train station, which was very uphill but completely worth it! The staff was extremely helpful, even with us speaking english and the view and quality of the hotel was more than I imagined!

Lovely location with great views over arenzano. Quiet hotel which was great and good breakfast with lots of choice. Great pool ..... only downside was the hotel for a 4 star was looking a bit tired in some areas . But overall a good choice
