Our favourite hotel on the Costa Del Sol. We have been coming, at least twice a year, for 10 years, and the standard of cleanliness, the food, the bedroom comfort, the staff, the general ambiance, just gets better and better!! It's a good 30 minutes walk into town, so we always rent a car, as we like to see the area, but if you’re happy to eat at the hotel, use the pool and the beach immediately in front of the hotel, then you don't necessarily need a car!

great place , unfortunately the walls were very thin, you could hear everything which made sleeping a little impossible.

This place is a little gem- perfect in every way- location, staff, value.

I loved the stay..planning to goback next September. It was the perfect weather, staff at the hotel was exceptional and you can soak all the sun you wiah nobody will say anything. Absolutely no complaints, loved the stay ans the view from my hotel room was superb.

It was a nice hotel, and we enjoyed it

The hotel was spotless, in the rooms and all customer areas. The pool was brilliant, a good size so it never felt cramped. Plenty of sun loungers (there will always be some weirdos hogging the loungers with towels but there were always plenty available) the staff were all lovely, they had people bringing drinks to the pool area every day and and the service in the paid restaurant was quick. We did half board, the breakfast buffet had a great variety, the dinner buffet was a bit hit and miss occasionally but that’s just down to personal taste. One thing to be aware of is that there were no water drinking fountain anywhere (not that I could find anyway? and water was not freely provided in the rooms so we had to go to the local supermarket and buy bottled water, if we did not want to pay over the odds for water. The alcoholic drinks were fairly priced, a pint of lager starting from 5 euros and a large spirit with mixer 8 euros. The beach front is beautiful, you can hire sun beds there for around 7 euros but we just bought a sun parasol for 12 euros at a local shop and used that for the week, it took 15 minutes to walk to a large shopping centre and 25 or so minutes to walk in to fuengirola town. Or 6 euros in a local taxi. (Uber was quoting 12 euros for the same journey so be wary of that) unfortunately we didn’t use the Spa in hotel because the weather was so fantastic, but the pricing was similar to that of a UK spa. We had a brilliant week and would go back again!

Hotel amazing, food and service was excellent. If you want a relaxing hotel, this is the hotel.

4 Star, quite old building, but still ok. Great location, fantastic staff in reception and specially in breakfast restaurant. Professional management, even a lot of people, no waiting, very clean and very good selection and tasty food. I have to mention chef making all kind of eggs. Very friendly, quick , doing great job. Thank you.

Big, spacious room

Everything about this hotel was fantastic.

Hotel was clean, rooms comfortable, food very fresh. Staff very friendly. 30 min walk into Fuengirola, which was better for us, preferred to be on out skirts.

Lovely hotel with a great selection of food every day quite location but this also makes it a long walk to nearest bars around 40 minutes

We found the hotel, and its staff to be perfect in every way. There was nothing too much trouble for them to please people. I am so looking forward to go back again

Lovely hotel all around

Great relaxing place on the beach. I would rate the dinner buffet as so so. We ate at other restaurants some ,even though we got half board.

IPV Hotel and Spa excellently located hotel on the outskirts of Fuengirola. All staff friendly and courteous, waiting staff worked long hours throughout day and evening, it did feel at times there needed to be more staff on duty especially at the Lobby bar in the evenings. Breakfasts very good with plenty of choice, we chose to eat mainly in the tapas bar of an evening as we enjoyed smaller plate style food. Juliana was always about and stood out for us as friendly and efficient. Only things that need updating/replacing are the sun loungers not great at all in such lovely surroundings. Rooms clean and tidy with comfortable beds and great views.

We had a lovely 3 night stay here. Hotel service is very good, with lovely clean large sized rooms with sea view. We were half board, the food quality and choice was excelent! Water is suplied on the first day in our room fridge, but not after, which was a shame. The pool was good and the beach just accross the walkway. Overall a great stay and would easily recomend a stay here.

Excellent in all respects.

The hotel was very nice with very helpful staff. The buffet breakfast was good and tasty. However, the buffet dinner items were consistently bland and not tasty.

Lovely stay in very pleasant surroundings room located in a corner of the building with partial sea view which was a bit disappointing considering we stayed for 4 nights on a half board basis. Food and staff service was excellent. We would return.

Nice hotel directly on the beach

This is a confusing property. Pro: Upscale appearance directly on the Sea, a wonderful piano bar, and great service at the beach restaurant. Con: Unhelpful and snooty front desk, few room amenities - no coffee maker (they brought a kettle for instant coffee, but decalf only), no room service or TV information, impossibly limited TV, no robe/slippers, and unstocked refrigerator - and the area is worse than the cheap part of Miami Beach.

A 3 day stay in Malaga City and then 2 days relaxing at the IPV Palace. Perfect for what we wanted and made better by the staff at the hotel.

First time staying at this hotel, it was at the far end of the strip but worth it because we got to experience the entire strip when we went for evening walks
