Over night stay , booked for Wi-fi and parking ,parking shared with Premier Class hotel which was very very scruffy, anyway no spaces so had a long walk , rain did not help. Food options were ghastly and overpriced, breakfast was Ok . In general Campaniles are cheap and cheerful, this was just cheap.

Dog friendly! Easy to find, wonderful breakfast buffet. Good location.

Room was clean and comfortable. Parking available onsite. Not a convenient location if you are looking to explore Lyon. Great price. Restaurant food was expensive and not tasty at all.

We just wanted an overnight stop around Lyon en route to Nice. The staff were great, room comfortable and clean. Food very good and reasonably priced in the hotel restaurant. Just a couple of things - whilst the room did not smell of smoke, the corridor leading to it did - really badly on arrival but not too bad the next morning. The sat nav said we had arrived on the hotel street at 7pm, but we spent another half an hour trying to find it in the dark - not easy - because the street turned off down a hill whilst a differently named road continued on, but this was far from clear so we were up and down and eventually asked a local who was very clear and helpful. Would advise arrival in the day! But would definitely use again for the same purpose.

The hotel seemed to be tucked away in the suburbs but could be found easily enough using sat nav and was close to the major roads. Our double room was small but adequate and clean. Dinner was also average. The hotel staff were helpful and pleasant. As an overnight stop on a long journey the hotel was fine and we would choose it again.

The hotel is far from the city town. You need to take bus to the nearest metro station to get to town. The receptionist when we did our check in was friendly and helpful. He is Dominican. The room is ok but the bed is hard. Not comfortable to sleep on. The wifi in the room is not stable and you have to keep logging in to the wifi.

The property provides everything that is needed. Nothing fancy but clean, organized and comfortable.

We were in Lyon for one night so we just booked something cheap. I didn't realize how far out from the town center this was. We ended up having to take a cab to and from to grab dinner as the metro would have stopped and there wouldn't be Parkin. For a hotel on the outskirts of Lyon this felt small. The bathroom was clean and decently sized. However all for a stop over it did its job, however if you plan to spend time wandering Lyon id opt for a closer location.

This Hotel was satisfactory, but difficult to find- little signage except close to Hotel. Good value menu

No smoking hotel?! My room smelled strongly of stale cigarettes!!!

Not the easiest place to find, situated at the top of a large hill and right next door to another hotel that had much bigger, more obvious, signage but managed to find it in the end! When you do eventually find it though it is immaculately maintained and has a very modern feel. Good service and very pleased with our stay here. Only downside is that it's not the easiest to get in the centre from here and found ourselves ordering a taxi (which the nice chap on reception did for us). Again we got a taxi back as they aren't that expensive. Lyon itself is a lovely place. Recommended

After many 3-stars on our trip we finally stayed at a 2-star Campanile, and it stayed our cheap-name-brand-hotel of choice for the rest of our trip. We were a young couple without a ton of money looking to save where possible, but not stay in rat-holes. Many of the economical three-stars we stayed at were indeed rat-holes, but the Campanile brand seems to maintain an excellent standard of cleanliness, efficiency and comfort at the branches we went to. If you want a cheap, no-frills, clean experience, I recommend the Campanile brand.

I would rate the hotel a 2/3 star. Hotel in a suburban area. Has small conference facilities. Staff could speak English and were very pleasant and courteous. We did not use the restaurant or any other services, although the presentation of the buffet looked very good. Room was quite small, TV only one English speaking channel - CNN news. Tea and coffee facilities with white plastic cups. Bathroom standard shower/bath and towels clean.
