The place was in need of repairs. Bedding clean but apartment itself a bit smelly. Ev charges great but blocked all but on with coach so difficult to use. Good good but breakfast very basic.

Dinners and breakfasts were just great. Unexpectedly so. enjoyed the quite on the garden side.

We stayed 2 nights. The first night was good, clean fresh room but when we went back to our room after it had been cleaned the 2nd day, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke. The person who had cleaned our room had clearly been smoking in our room which was most unpleasant. I wish we had asked them not to clean our room. What was a good experience the first night, turned into a poor experience the 2nd.

We booked nights, but we had to check out after 2 days because we got a "better " room with a terrible smoke smell absorbed in the carpet, beds, and walls. The hotel refused to repay us for the 3 nights we haven't stayed.
The hotel is very old, and the maintenance and condition of the rooms are terrible. The rooms are dirty, the shower is leaking, etc.
We were given spray to try and overcome the bad smell in the room which didn't help at all.
Avoid this hotel.

It is a basic hotel, rooms at that standard. Has a restaurant and good check in, and nice green area to the rear. It is between Chambourcy and St Germain, and walkable by 15 mins to Chambourcy centre. It is on a bus route between the two places.

A pleasant hotel with excellent service - good value. The biggest downside for me was the lack of proximity to a rail station necessitating taxis in rush-hour traffic. Next time I'd rather be closer to a railway station to avoid the early morning traffic. But I was very well looked after and had a pleasant stay.

Room is extremely small and I was placed on the lower floor in one of the handicap rooms.
Rooms on the lower floor have window which looks directly toward the entry of the hotel which gives the feeling that everyone is watching your room.
I had people standing outside my room smoking and talking loudly which really disturb me and I had to close my windows the all time.

Stayed here as goingbti a wedding in Chambourcy. Excellent hotel for this , lovely. Real fast friendly staff and comfy bed. Would definitely stay again.

Its perfect for a 6-8 hours sleep stop. Check in was fast and easy, parking was easy, room were smelly, a bit dirty, with hairs around everywhere, big stained carpet, bathroom you need flip flop!!! The idea is fantastic, we have 3 other Campanille stops on our road trip, hopefully we have better luck!!!

Basic hotel, more like a motel than hotel very basic menu

The neighborhood is nice and suitable for our night stop enroute for the south. Although convenient we thought it was a two star hotel, in need outside of renovation and the bedroom carpet was shabby. If the price had included breakfast we would have found it good value so it was overpriced. However, we found a fabulous fish restaurant five minutes walk away. We would stay again but only if we could not find a better priced hotel.

We had to change room three times before we found OK one. First room had plumbing issues and the person who fixed the plumbing left the bathroom dirty. In the second room, bed was broken. Third one had smell due to humidity but was too tired to change again. Hotel is way too overpriced for what it is and not well maintained.

This is the 2nd time that we stay at a Campanile hotel during our trip. This one reflects better the ratings that we read on the web .... And is in better conditions than the one in the outskirt of Caen fir the same *** rating!

The hotel was not quite where i wanted to be but was a brand I was familiar with. It was just what i expected. The staff spoke reasonable English, better than my French! Although the room is quite compact, it was clean and comfortable.

Need to go up narrow spiral staircase to reach room which is awkward with heavy bags. Not all lights worked and quilt for third bed had no cover. Easy for getting access to nearest town and to major shopping centre. Noisy at night because of road traffic. Due to new road arrangement, the Campanile is hidden behind another building. Fortunately, having previously lived in the area, I knew where it should be. Difficult if no GPS used. Very friendly staff at Reception.

A perfectly pleasant basic French style motel - but with unexpectedly great beer!

Requested interconnecting rooms and did not get these for a family of two adults and two young children. Ended up in two rooms three doors apart. Had to go outside to visit each other and to go to breakfast. Could hear next door's television all night. Awful layout with hotel rooms separate to reception and restaurant. Like camping in a mobile home. Would never stay in a Campanile again.

The staff at Campanile were, without exception, friendly and helpful. They spoke excellent English too and considering the poor quality of my French, this made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Disappointed to arrive and find that the catering services (i.e. restaurant) have again been downgraded (I have stayed here for 20 years or so) to the equivalent status of a (British) motorway pit stop (French autoroute cafes are generally better!). I was looking forward to a decent (freshly cooked and served) meal. Quality of hot food provided (from a container) was fine but the whole process was unacceptable and one which I will not be repeating with my groups. You have just destroyed one of the two main reasons for staying at your hotels.

As expected from a Campanille - clean quiet room but TV didn't work, wifi didn't work, I could get an iron but no ironing board.I turned up at 10pm and left by 7am, If I had been staying any longer I would have booked somewhere else.

We travel by car from England and thought will be cheaper to get a hotel outside Paris but there is a toll from the hotel to Paris, it was 7.80 euro.
Unfortunately you hear everything that´s going on outside and next rooms. If the other customers arrive late night you will know everything about.
The rooms are very clean but small like most of hotels in Paris.
The location is not the best.. there is some restaurants arround but not good and very expensive

We stayed at this hotel on our way back from the South of France because of it's proximity to Versailles. The staff were very helpful. and welcoming. Our french is very basic and all the staff were happy to speak English. We used the restuarant each evening, Jesse the waiter was most attentive and the food was delicious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone driving through France and wanting to visit Versailles & Paris and come back to peace and quiet.
