The location is perfect to travelers, easy to get to. Front desk staff were awesome, breakfast was good.
The cleanliness of our room was not good. I ended up cleaning the toilet before we used it. The space needed a good vacuum as well.

The staff was fantastic. Great personalities. Great sense of humor. In a short time my wife and I got to know them and have fun. They were; Sandra and Estelle. Stacey and Mary. Terri and Jean. The scrambled eggs for some reason were much better than any other hotel we have been to. Coffee was great .Sausages were different and better than others. The kitchen staff was right on the ball. Including the young man emptying the garbage from that very clean garbage area. Truly great staff. The cleaning people on our floor were very friendly and fun. Now a sour note: The dust on TV screen and stand was deep enough to draw a very visable smile face. The couch was dark and camouflaged the slight stains pretty well. The Air conditioning unit was chipped up. The room was carpeting. I dont like that. Its a sponge for all kinds of gross stuff. The dust and the rug just kind of grossed me out. The elevator was a bit dreary and worn out. About the room; it puzzles me how management can allow that. They should watch that show regularly; Hotel Impossible. They would learn a lot. All employees in every hotel should watch it. The only thing that saves this hotel is its Kitchen and Desk staff. I will never forget them. I wish them the best. I stayed Thursday to Friday, Oct 10 and 11, 2024.

The room was filthy from top to bottom. Every surface had hair on it even the ceilings in the bathroom. We have stayed here numerous times over the past few years and every room has been clean, but this will be the last time we stay here.

Convenient, right off of I-95, when our flight got canceled and we were forced to drive.
Good breakfast choices as expected. Very comfortable bed. Only problem I had was the hair in the shower and on the bathroom floor. The woman working the breakfast area was super nice and helpful.

Really like ability to easily control hvac. Bath facilities present as new. Like the DTV service, plus ability to use my own Roku. Easy WiFi access. Breakfast very well done. Wish that all breakfast tvs weren't tuned to fox.

It was a fine hotel and the staff was very nice, especially the breakfast staff! The room was comfortable and the bed was good. I do understand the complexity of using regular service ware, but seeing 4 trash cans filled with styrofoam cups and plates that won't degrade for millions of years was a bit disconcerting. Wish it were a bit more eco-friendly.

Overnight stay on a trip from Fort Myers, Florida to New York. Convenient location near I-95. Quiet, clean room, good bed and sufficient breakfast - what else traveler needs for one night rest during a long drive. We do recommend this particular Holiday Inn Express at Walterboro, South Carolina.

First I want to say that Mary and Stacy in the dining area for breakfast were SUPER! But after that, we went to check in but 1 employee never showed up so there was 1 desk person and 9 people waiting. It took 45 minutes to check in. Second, we stayed at a Holiday Inn Express 3 years ago and the fee for a pet was $35. That same dog cost me $85 last night. Unless they’re going to walk my dog and feed my dog, that amount is highway robbery. It’s ridiculous. I only stayed because my room was prepaid and I wouldn’t have gotten a refund. We’re at a Comfort Inn tonight and it’s only $25. It was a great room with a super comfortable bed, but $85 for 1 diff is idiotic and I’ll never stay there again until that changes.

Clean, comfy hotel right off of 95. Quick and easy check-in. They offer a wide variety of food at the complimentary breakfast; we were impressed! All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. Special shoutout to Stacy - she was exceptionally helpful and sweet!

There were ROACHES in the room, specifically crawling on our pillows. We submitted videos and neither the hotel or Expedia were willing to actively work to rectify the situation. Both parties blamed each other in not being able to resolve the issue. In the end Expedia offered some OneKeyCash (to use on a future Expedia booking if we are staying 2 days or more) as a resolve. While this is better than nothing, it’s not an acceptable solution considering roaches are clearly a sign of a sanitary issue AND we spent hundreds of dollars, only to be treated poorly when we reported the incident and vehemently ignored by hotel management.

The staff is so nice and the place is solid. By that I mean that you don’t have to worry when you book a room at Holiday Inn. Clean, convenient and easy to book.

The desk clerk I believe his name was Jordan was absolutely wonderful and helpful even when it came down to parking. He’s such a delight. I was a little disappointed how small these rooms were and the view wasn’t much of a view but of the wooded area. So I wasn’t comfortable opening up the window.
We checked in after 3am after a long ride. Jordan was pleasant even at the hour. We checked out early that evening about 9pm due to having to report to work.

There was a big wet spot on the carpet right off the elevators on floor three. It was dirty and smelled like mildew.

Room was not stocked with coffee pods and also had spiders in room.:( payed for a premium room did not receive as expected.
