Loved our stay, very pretty, super clean, nice room.

Great location. Very quiet. Cleaning staff was excellent. For Europe, very large room and bathroom.

Amazing hotel for before or after a cruise. Super convenient near train station and so much to see walking around, shopping food all the good stuff. Staff were amazing, early check in available and spoke English! Gave us good options for dining and our room was clean and quiet. Well priced and comfortable! Highly highly recommended

A lovely hotel, right in the centre of Trieste. Spacious, bright room. Great ground floor lounge for meetings or relaxing.

This hotel is closed subject to renovation works. We were transferred to another hotel next doors belonging to the same owner, Modernista. That was a nice well kept hotel. Still we find it surprising that we were not informed until the day before although the original hotel had been closed for months. Modernista was a good hotel. Small safety boxes though, not much space.

Reception was not helpful: no offer to assist with luggage. Room "keys" did not work. Staff not friendly.

I arrived at Hotel Continental after a ten cruise only to discover it was Closed for renovations. I had had the paid reservation for two months and was never notified that the hotel was closing. I’m sure they knew it would be closed and still accepted reservations. This caused a great deal of unnecessary anxiety for my partner and I. Luckily one of the workmen walked us to a different hotel close by.

They removed our reservation to another hotel! They didn't send a message through Expedia! They sent a short notice to my husband's email! We weren't happy about this change! You still think we stayed at Continental. NO We couldnt'. Isnt this your business? We reserved the hotel through Expedia!

Hotel Continentale was very comfortable and in a great location close to the waterfront. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Bare bones of service and amenities.

This was an easy, elegant, and comfortable place to stay. The staff were great--pleasant and responsive. Everything was clean and worked well, our triple room was spacious and had character, and breakfast was especially nice. The location was excellent for both walking and for bus or taxi transportation. There was a day when the internet went down, but that seemed to be outside the hotel. I would happiliy stay here again.

Beautiful hotel

Clean, small room but ok for a short stay. Very good breakfast and we enjoyed a good evening meal on the outside terrace. Hotel location is good and an easy walking distance to the cruise port.

Wonderful hotel. Great location

I was going on the cruise ship and stayed one night. The location was super. I was at the Venice airport and took the FLIXBus to Trieste. The bus stop was only a 10-13 minute walk with my large luggage to the hotel. We walk to the cruise port was about 15 minutes walk. We were so lucky to find this perfect hotel. The front desk staff was pleasant and super nice.

The hotel is in an excellent location in the heart of the city.Central to all the main sites. Breakfast can be taken outside at the tables in front of the hotel right in the middle of the pedestrian zone which is nice.

Good location, clean, reliable

Great hotel but bad vallet parking. I had to comfornt the Police because the Hotel does not have a place to park a car even for 5 minutes, therefore my car was waiting on the stree. And I had to wait 45 minutes to get my car back. If I would be the manager, I would give the customer free parking in that case. So park you car by yourself (there is a garage 200m away) and you will have a great time.

Convenient location, nice staff, spacious rooms, in the very center of the City

Right on the pedestrian and with a parking house close by, location was great. Service was immaculate with friendly and very efficient staff and breakfast was comprehensive and good, - we enjoyed it in the café on the pedestrian watching the locals off to school and work. A technical glitch with the electricity forced us to change room quite late in the evening, but the staff were very helpful and we were upgraded in the process.

I was very happy with my stay; the service was great, in particular one man at reception whose name began with a T (sorry I didn't get his full name). He was truly exceptional in offering ideas of things to do, how to get places, and really went out of his way to help. The breakfast was great as well, with great service there as well. The room itself was a little small, but fine and clean and comfortable bed. It had an accessible bathroom, with shower in the middle of the room for those who may need to sit, as well as small shower stall. Shower was a bit slippery and has a step up into it, so perhaps they could add some non slip material). But it wasn't an issue for me, but just letting others know in case it is. The location is great, very central, only about 3-5 minutes walking to all the major sites, and the hotel's location itself is very lively with a lot of shops and restaurants right outside the door. The hotel has a nice looking restaurant as well with outdoor seating; I didn't have a chance to eat there, but it looked nice. Overall a great stay and I would stay there again!

Breakfast was good. Various kinds of warm dishes. Staffs were friendly. Location was wonderful. One negative point - I could hear the next doors. Had to put the ear plugs.
