When we checked in there was a dirty wash rag hanging on the shower curtain, a bar of soap and a shampoo bottle in the shower the sheets as if they were dirty and just put back on the bed. When I called the front desk the woman working said that she didn't know what to tell me.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable though it smelled of old smoke. The thing I main thing that I disliked about this property was that I felt unsafe. When I went to my room, which was on the back side of the hotel (the front side looks fine) there was a group of men just lounging around the rooms and parked vehicles smoking cigarettes. I ended up wedged a chair up under the door once in the room and shoved a towel at the bottom of the door so that nothing could easily be pushed under the gap between the door and the floor. The only other concern I had was with the hot and hotter water. No matter how I turned the faucet only hot or hotter water came out.

Easy check in but didn’t understand if they were pet friendly why they told me the pets were not allowed on the bed.

Wonderful staff and very clean and quite room

Elevator was not operational and looks like hasn’t been for years, room was 100 degrees and had to wait a couple hours for it to cool off, hair all in shower, leak and yellow stains all on ceiling.

Our 3 night stay was quite and peaceful. The only thing was the pillows were small and the shower was not very strong but it was hot other than that no issues.

The check-in was very smooth and the young lady was friendly. The room was decent on the second floor, but the elevator was broken and out of order. I was not happy that there was no type of breakfast whatsoever, not even a continental one. When you're paying $100 per night and there's competition all around, a hotel needs to serve some type of breakfast.

Room coffee maker was not clean

Perfect location for my needs, unfortunately my son forgot his first comunity necklaces hanging in the lamp from room 309 and housekeeping didn't took it to the front desk plus unable to take a shower due to the tub not been clean from previous guest. Other than that it was ok.

Very clean and peaceful, I would have liked if breakfast was included though for 394 dollars for 4 people I’d hope free breakfast would be included but nope, if that’s not a dealbreaker it’s nice and convenient and has ramps instead of stairs, was easier on the knees!

Stay was ok until I got up and prepare for the day. I stepped into the shower, turned the handle (which was very tight) and “NO WATER”. I tried several times but no luck. I did see about 3 or 4 drops come out. So, to clean up, I had to use the sink. Disgusting! When I left, I went by the front desk to check out and report the water situation. There were absolutely no one at the desk or in the lobby. So I didn’t have the opportunity to report my dissatisfaction and let them know they need maintenance. I feel like I should be given a partial refund. I did not get all that I paid for. This was room 222 on May 25, 2024.

Excellent location with lots of eating choices nearby. It was also a safe location. Hotel was in good condition.

My last trip to Jefferson City for the last 4 years. Red Roof Inn has been my staying place. My oldest granddaughter graduated from Carson Newman University Friday. My youngest granddaughter traveled up with me and forgot her toothpaste and I was able to get some from the front desk.

I’ve stayed here several times: pet friendly and convenient. Room is clean especially for those of us on a budget.

The 'updated' room had a very industrial feel with commercial vinyl flooring and loud squeaky bed. The bathroom was terrible. The faucet in shower was falling off, shower was stained and chipped, and the floor needing replacing.

Very friendly staff and comfortable beds.

For the first time in many years i have stayed i had to call the frint dest to report loud people outside multiple times. Very disappointed.

They charged a 100 deposit. I left the room 4 hours after arriving. And they tried to say their was purple hair dye in the tub and room. Which is false. I never even unmade the bed or slept in the bed. And i have short brown hair and have never died my hair purple. So now i am fighting for my 100 back.

Dog in room above us barked all night and the man screamed at him all night. Never had that problem here before. Hard to rest
