Excellent restaurant and bar.

This hotel was a great home base for our three day motorcycle trip in the Hayward/Clam Lake area. The restaurant had great food and service. Our server Clara was the best. We had one cold rainy day so we stayed close and went to breakfast a few minutes away, the Fishing Hall of Fame, the cinema next door and the pool. They are undergoing renovations and the place is looking good. The front desk staff were all very welcoming and fun to visit with.

Nice northern chalet-style hotel. Lobby with log cabin furniture. It's within walking distance of the Lumber Jack competition. Nice sized room which was also a log cabin motif. Over all the room was well-kept and clean except for a gritty floor (sand). We asked that they vacuum it and they did. Room was not ready when we checked in so had to wait 15 minutes. They gave us a $10 restaurant certificate for our wait. The restaurant and bar are very nice. The food was good, especially the pizza. A continental breakfast in the lobby is served daily. We stayed two nights and there was no room refresh service. Not sure if it's provided on request since we discovered it when we returned in the evening on the second day. All in all, we would recommend this hotel.

The room was clean. Had a great night's sleep. Interactions with staff were great, and all the requests we made we're met quickly and done with a smile. It was an enjoyable stay.

Bed had dog hairs. Had to ask for new comforter and sheets.

Really loved having the restaurant attached and the pool was excellent. We had a ground level room facing the parking lot and there wasn't a privacy curtain that would allow light in while spending time in the room. You either closed the curtain and had to use lights or had anybody looking in. Breakfast was good.

The front desk personnel was awesome!!! The ladies were very helpful! I didn’t like that the restaurant and bar were closed on Sunday and Monday, I only stayed 2 days, so I didn’t get a chance to see them ☹️

Restaurant asked me and my service animal to leave.

Our bathroom door wouldn't close all the way and latch, door jam was swollen

217 steps to the second floor with luggage was very difficult. The walleye I had for dinner was overcooked and dry. I had to scrape the breading off because it was burnt.

Everything was great! We'll be staying there again!!

Excellent good in restaurant

Our room was by the pool and smelled of chlorine. Front desk staff were not friendly. The mattress was lumpy.

A beautiful lodge, all the amenities and a very friendly staff , including the housekeepers. Keep up the good work. Would definitely come back.

Very comfortable room and great restaurant attached

Pull out bed was terrible, mattress went thru the frame when sat on. Jetted tub (which was the while reason we fot a room was disgusting and we didnt even use it.

The hotel overall was great. Clean, comfortable and having free bottles of water was amazing in the lobby! The breakfast was a little less than desirable as they just had small refrigerators stocked with things to be microwaved. Granted there was not to many hotel guest and that is a responsible way to not be wasteful. But I would rather have a Belgium waffle over a microwaveable pancake. The connecting restaurants was not opened. So if breakfast is not important to you the hotel was very pleasant and if I was passing through for work I would stay again. Because clean and comfort is far more important than breakfast to me.

Nice lobby, simple room but met our needs. Restaurant and bar were outstanding. Kudos to Scott, our bar tender. He mixed drinks like an artist and gave us fabulous recommendations on menu selections. We will definitely stay at Flat Creek again and highly recommended the restaurant!

Everything was great, very nice place! The walls were a little thin, heard the neighbors pretty good.

The hotel staff was nice. The room was dirty. The hotel was noisy where we were located. The hotel was more expensive for what you got. TV was not easy to navigate. Food for breakfast was not great at all for options. Food in bags is very poor to offer. Restaurant on site didnt serve breakfast which was not great.

Thw last time we were here, I remember the bar being so fun. This year, the bar/ restaurant and pool all closed at 8 which was not at all convenient. The room was nice but the mirrors were dirty and I found someones left over subway in our fridge. I think Ill pay 2 star motel pricing somewhere else next year since this is what I basically received.

Played some golf and checked out the leaves in Hayward. Great hotel, clean, comfy beds. Highly recommend.

Had confirmed print out listing 2 queen beds for 2 nights only queen bed with a sofa bed. Found wadded up socks on tv stand behind the tv and empty jerky bag under nightstand

Staff and accommedations were excellant. Easy commute to many nearby attractions an downtown Hayward.
