Lovely spot but hotel needs a bit of a freshen up. Ok for stop over which is what we did.

Lovely location on the beach and an easy walk to restaurants

We had a fantastic stay at this property with our family during our holidays. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach, which made our days filled with sun and sand so convenient. The property itself was outstanding, with excellent utilities that made us feel right at home. Every amenity we needed was provided, making our stay comfortable and stress-free.

Issues with the booking- so could not stay in same room. The rooms are not sound proof and had a lot of noise around us.

Wonderful stay in a 2 bedroom garden suite. Huge, very clean, and nicely styled room. The indoor pool was great for the kids! Have booked again for July! Looking forward to our return!

We stayed in an ocean view room on level 6 the outlook was lovely the room spacious and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

Clean and right next door to an awesome pub called the vicar. Could do with arebo to update the interior and bathrooms but otherwise a comfortable and clean place to stay

We enjoyed our stay except having booked for 8 days I would have expected staff to drop in and check our supply of essentials such as toilet paper and replace the towels. The ceiling fan was covered in dust which hadn't been cleaned in a long time and the carpets are well beyond their life expectancy which made it a little unpleasant. Loved the shower and the supply of soap and shampoo. Body lotion was a nice touch! Great king size bed and wonderful clean sheets and pillows! Thanks!

All staff were pleasant, helpful and you could see they loved their jobs. Provided exceptional customer service.

This is our second stay at Mantra Port Macquarie. The position is fantastic and the staff are very accommodating. Gym and pool are a bonus and the access to the beach is great.

Good location but that is it. Room was not as Hotels.com advertised - images showed kitchenette which was not the case. Room was not as Mantra advertised - certainly not luxury with archaic technology - not the digital services - unable to use smart TV in fact a DVD unit. It is in need of a paint, new carpets blinds and basic provisions. Service terrible - calle reception about the room and told to email manager who would be back Monday (48 hours)

Easy to find and park, nice rooms and balcony

Great location overlooking the beach, easy underground parking, great pool / sauna, easy walk to beach and local amenities.

Staff at Check-in were friendly. Disappointed that we didn't get the room that we asked for. Dont assume that when you pay for a waterview room that you will get one. Once again we got a 1st floor park view with a glimpse of the ocean. Even after requesting a top floor unobscured view a month prior and ringing to check 3 days before. Room wasn't as clean as it could have been. Orange juice spilled in the fridge, coffee table not cleaned marks and dust around bathroom skirting boards. Handwash with hair conditioner in shower instead of shampoo no shower cap. Aircon leaked onto the carpet.

Only negative is is there’s no air con in bedroom it’s very hot. Spacious rooms, plenty of space. Love, love the indoor pool great when it’s bad weather. Staff very friendly and helpful, Will definitely come back again.

A great hotel almost on the waterfront. You can see the ocean from your patio. The patio makes up for the smaller room size. Easy walking to the Jetty, beach and lots of restaurants. The room is a bit smaller but found for a night or two. Safe, secure, parking, great hotel staff.

So this property looks fantastic but there are some downsides. Let's start with the positives. It is right across the road from the beach and on the outskirts of the CBD so it is convenient to walk everywhere and the facilities such as the pool are fantastic. It looks modern and refreshed from the outside and the lobby. But that is where it stops. The courtyard view room is more like a view on some empty blocks, run down buildings and graffiti. The rooms are a good size but very dated with paint chips on the walls, doors that are scratched and damaged and the carpet just looks old. But it gets worse, there is an air conditioner but it is in the loungeroom only and wasn't working very well so would not cook the room and there was no hope of getting any cool air to the bedroom due to it's positioning, whilst the bedroom did have a fan it was fighting an loosing battle against the air-conditioning unit that was blowing it's hot air against the glass door to the bedroom, meaning a cool nights sleep is not possible in this room. To top it all off the smell in the hallway outside the lifts where the rubbish shoot was smelt like the demons of hell had escaped and were coming to get you. A nice location but an old and tired hotel that is not worth the premium price

A home from home, everything you could want in an apartment. Would definitely stay here again
