We decided to take an impromptu trip to the casino for the weekend. We normally stay at the casino but it was sold out. Several other familiar hotels were also booked so we decided to try here. It was extremely clean, the hotel staff were constantly mopping the lobby and elevator. The room and bathroom was very clean. The decor was cute.We arrived late and our room was on the first floor right near lobby. We did not hear any noise. They had underground parking because the lot was full when we arrived. The staff were friendly and professional! I would definitely stay again!

When I originally booked on hotels.com, the option to pay at the property was selected. On the day of my reservation in the morning, I received a call from the front desk telling me they tried to charge my card because if they don't place a full hold on the card the reservation will be cancelled. The staff was very rude when I was trying to gain clarification on why the full amount needed to be charged as a hold and once I arrive am I able to spilt the payment up. The staff charged my card a partial payment and ensured the balance could be paid split between 2 cards. Upon my arrival, a different person states that's not policy and only a manager can split payments (never heard of this). finally was able to check in. I just would appreciate policies and procedure to be discussed before hand to avoid confusion and for all staff to know what their talking about. This was an annoying experience and definitely wont be staying here again.

Newer hotel nice room So clean it smelled like the cleaning solution…..

Very spacious room and although basic, all one would need after a very lengthy day. Plenty of sockets/power outlets everywhere around the room, as well as USB points. Very comfortable bed and excellent pillow quality. Exceptional attention to detail and the sweetest artistic touch by the housekeeping staff. (see image). So cute and unexpected - but much appreciated. Scrupulously clean linen and towels. Necessary amenities in the bathroom, soap, shower gel and a combined shampoo/conditioner. Body lotion was a nice touch too. "Breakfast" leaves much to be desired; especially if you are, celiac, gluten or lactose free, paleo, or low carb of any kind. An apple was all there was for me. But there are plenty of dining options in the vicinity. External and internal parking and plenty of it. All in all highly recommended.

A pleasant stay in a seem to be new hotel

This was an overnight stay. Check-in was easy. Parking is a little tight, however the room was clean and comfortable.

we had an overnight on our way to the Outer Banks... it was the right balance for price and rating... Other friends stayed in dover at a days inn I think and they left after 15 minutes and found another property to stay at....

Easy parking.
