Rooms are small although we did have a king size bed. Lots of hot water but the shower curtain couldn’t keep the water from getting all over the floor. Tiny bathroom and strange setup. All in all the rooms are efficient and the atmosphere of the town and surrounding areas are beautiful. You can sit on the walkway outside your room. It’s not a patio but there are chairs and a table for every room. The coffee in the room wasn’t half bad.

Fast check in. Very clean room and very comfortable bed. Room was small but sufficient. No comfortable chairs to sit in, just metal stools at a counter. Chairs and a table outside the room on the walkway and a beautiful evening so we sat outside for while. Beware of the acorns falling in late summer, they were falling like leaves and were big. Disappointed that the restaurant wasn’t open (it’s closed Tuesday and Wednesday) because it looked very nice.

My stay at the Shasta Inn was extremely comfortable. The staff was more than friendly and accommodating.

I’m going to begin this review by saying the staff was absolutely amazing wonderful and nice so my review has nothing to do with them. Just be aware this property is old. Our room was extremely clean but very small. There wasn’t even a place to sit down and we had the deluxe king small bathroom no ventilation and the first floor did not feel safe as there is no fence behind the property. The problem with this again is the age. The walls are paper thin our first couple of days were fine because there was no one there at the hotel going forward. It was a nightmare. In fact, we left a day early due to the level of noise that filtered into our room. It is located very conveniently next to restaurants and places to go walking Again, the staff was very nice. The location is nice but be prepared for no sleep rock hard beds and if you’re on the first floor, not feeling safe.

We have stayed here a few times over several years and so has my son. It is somewhat older but always clean and grounds are tidy. Official Tesla chargers are a newer addition! Food is nearby , walking distance, great for overnight stays, quiet.

I have gone to the now Shasta inn for more then 20 years. These owners by far know how to run a hotel. The restaurant attached to Shasta inn is absolutely fantastic.

The Shasta Inn met my needs for an overnight stay while driving on I-5. The room was small but clean and quiet. I stayed in a room with one queen bed.

Staff were really nice. Nice, clean, large hotel room. To-go breakfast bag and Tesla chargers were such a huge bonus. Lots of dining within walking distance. Would stay here again.

Our staff was so wonderful! From check in to check out the staff was so friendly and accommodating! This is a lovely older motel complex that has been updated but still has its original charm. There is a restaurant on site with a daring plant nursery/ brewery/ pizza place right across the street. I would not hesitate to recommend this motel

Peaceful is the one word that describes this place. The take-away breakfast was more robust than most. You need to know the tissues are in the nightstand drawer. We will make this our regular stop on our north-south travels. We goofed on our reservation date and they accommodated a last minute change and even gave us an upgrade. There was a retreat happening with about 20 ladies.

The setting and vibe are cool. The rooms are very old and need updating. The bed was not comfortable.

I normally love the Shasta Inn. This time the room service accidentally took our TV remote and they couldn't find it to get it back to us. They thought another room had it but would NOT EVEN ATTEMPT to get it back for us. Very disappointing. Ate one night at the restaurant on site and got sick from the fried chicken...oil had gone bad.

Fridge had a freezer. First floor accommodation, quiet and seems like a safe and secure area.

This stay was so awesome customer service was great and the rooms were really nice and located close to restaurants and shops.

Retro atmosphere along with clean and comfortable

The restaurant at this location was absolutely wonderful. The room was really small but clean. We expected breakfast and was told there would be bag breakfast available at 7:30am. We waited and watched others try the door to get breakfast. We ended up leaving and going thru Starbucks in order to get on our way.

Nice, clean facility. We arrived late at about 8PM. Their kitchen closed at 8:30pm so we really could not eat there. Looked around town and found that everything closed at 9pm. Hotel staff did not mention any other dining options. Finally found a supermarket that was open and a Subway store (with a surly staff that keep reminding us they were closing). Got sandwiches, then saw a Big Bear restaurant that was open to 10pm but we were tired after driving 500 miles so headed back to the hotel. Seemed a little expensive for the facility, parking lot took a little skill to navigate, but the hotel was clean.

We appreciated the "Grab n Go" bags in the morning since the restaurant is only open in the evenings. The outside temperature was 104 when we arrived. The staff had the air conditioning in our room up and running so that the room was cool when we first walked in.

The room was is small but very nice and clean, at a great price compared to most other motels for a weekend stay. The surrounding area is beautiful, and quiet with restaurants nearby.

Relax time and had an amazing time
