The staff were great and super friendly. They didn’t have the room that we reserved so they upgraded us to a suite. What a nice surprise! Also they were able to get us in early which was great since we spent the day traveling and hiking.

Very pleased with hotel amenities and cleanliness. The buffet breakfast was a great convenience for us travelers who must get-up and have a quick breakfast.

Moving around was crowded and inconvenient

This property needs attention on cleanliness and overall condition, but it is tolerable as-is for a one night stay.

The property is in need of a major renovation. The room smelled like mildew. The towels were a dull gray color, the bed had two sink holes in it and we are pretty sure that our bed linens were dirty. Hairs on the pillows and sheets and very wrinkled.

The room is out-dated and unclean. The hotel needs to be completely renovated.

It was a horrible stat. Walks were paper thin. I could hear rooms around me showering very loudly in the room. Bathroom was extremely filthy and smelly. Shower curtain was covered in pink mildew.

Loved Samantha and her kind helpfulness.

Cleanliness of the bathroom was moderate. Hallways and common areas appeared to be relatively newly remodeled.

Understand that the property is going to be renovated. Which is the other reason I gave it low marks. It’s an older hotel that needs some tlc. The other was the condition of their towels. Coarse, gray, and should have been replaced a while back. Everything else from staff, mattress comfort and breakfast were super!

I am really disappointed. The room was small, really bad. the hotel was dirty! Only the hotel service was very nice!

This place was more like a $75 motel 6. They really need to replace carpets, wallpaper/paint. We had to slam into our door to get it open from the hallway and pull like crazy to open from the inside. Also had to really shove it closed. TV kept losing sound. Very disappointing for an IHG.

Property needs updating to be a holiday inn I am used to

Did not have daily room service. Ok by us. Did give us towels and toilet paper when requested.

The facility was reasonably similar to other IHG properties that I have stayed at. There were no grab bars in the shower.

Excellent service. Clean room, comfy bed, quiet, I wish they had more gluten free and pork free food. Staff were attentive and nice. Provided us extra clean towels everyday. We had a dead battery on the second day of our stay, 2 staff went over and beyond and offered a jump start but a Good Samaritan (another guest) helped us. There’s still few good souls out there that cares about others. Thank you for your kindness.

Disappointed, must be an older hotel, entryway needed swept and cleaned. The carpet is old, worn and in our room stained. Not much counter space in the bathroom and the towels were grimy looking. I wouldn’t want to stay there again.

We always try to stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Kanab, Utah when traveling.

Excellent room, bed a little hard, but over all great stay

Did a quick overnight stay headingbto Zion NP. Was a very nice stay andnthe area had a few walkable restaurants.

The woman at the front desk did not know how to check us in We were informed there would be a power outage for the next five hours starting in 15 minutes so we had to rush super stressfully to our room The elevator is not working so we had to carry our sleeping children 3 fights upstairs And then she had told us the wrong side of the building so we had to also cross the building from where we were parked. These are just inconveniences and stresses. The room was very comfortable. Beds were awesome and clean. There was a big stain on one of our bathroom towels that were hanging up The next morning when we went to breakfast, there were all the bread items, but the pancake machine was out of order and there were no omelettes or bacon left and we got there at nine and breakfast was supposed to go till 930. We were informed by the one person working in the kitchen, who is extremely over burdened that they had run out of everything and that she was sorry. There was for a while, but we did talk to her and ask her about it and she said they were sorry they just ran out of everything. We chose Holiday Inn express because we’ve always had a good experience there and we knew that it would be a standard good experience. So we’re very surprised that it did not meet our expectations.

New and clean

It was a comfortable hotel to travel with family. A bit noisy but the staffs were nice and breakfast was good.

I can see why people stay in Kanab.... Equa distant from Zion, Bryce, and Grand Canyon! Would recommend for families.

William at check in was very nice. Although, out front curb appeal, needs a power wash, awful landscaping overgrown weeds, mop and broom Behind front desk is a no no, garbage cans outside front were overflowing. Room was nice, but, towels were old and warn.

Used the workout room. It needs some work. The hand sanitizer was empty. The water jug was empty. The incumbent bike made a lot of noise the place look like it needed a good scrubbing.

It was ok, but definitely older and not super clean.

Even though this property was a little bit old, it was still nice. The bathroom was clean, the grout was clean! (I notice these things!) Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Good location in town and, when there was a problem, the front desk handled it very quickly.

Great staff with a lot of hustle to help us with front desk, housekeeping and breakfast requests. We stayed 3 nights over memorial day weekend. We saw breakfast crew go above and beyond to accommodate late arrivals by restocking food quickly though these hangry folks tripped in 15 minutes past the close time. Coffee bar was stocked through out day and kiddo appreciated the hot chocolate. Great pool. Dining area is a great all day retreat for family games or catch up on email. Hotel room furniture is dated and mattress was soft and lumpy, but very clean. S
