Stayed here after storm Helene as our property was deemed unsafe due to power outages and utilities.The staff even upgraded our room at no cost, everyone from hotel staff to guest were kind and polite. Friendly dog hotel and well maintained the rooms were very comfortable. Free breakfast. What makes this place stand out truly is the staff. During these unprecedented times they did all they could within their means to accommodate us multiple times over a few nights despite almost being sold out & yes despite my rental being totaled by an accident caused by another guest things at the hotel couldn’t have been better . Highly recommended, very friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommend staying here.

Love tha whole atmosphere

The Flat Rock Lodge was our family’s choice for our sister’s wedding. At check-in, my husband and I were warmly greeted by Taylor. In fact, other staff kindly acknowledged our presence. Since we came from many different states, we needed a place to congregate, and were delighted to enjoy, in particular, the dining area, the beauty and cleanliness throughout the hotel. Some healthy options at breakfast would be most welcomed for our next visit.

We love the courtyard at this property. You don't feel like you have to stay in your room.

The property was absolutely wonderful! The staff was also very wonderful and very friendly and courteous! The only problem I have is that I am 62 years old and have never smoked. When my wife and I went out the front door to go eat, we encountered two people smoking in front of the door. Also when we tried to go out back around the waterfall we couldn’t enjoy that either because of smoking. We want to come back and stay again if you can correct the smoking problem. If you can make a designated smoking area and not all of the outside area. Thanks

Our experience at the Lodge was great. The greeting when we arrived and every time we came in contact with any staff. The room was very spacious and was very inviting. The room was very clean. It is in driving distance to downtown Hendersonville and Asheville. This is the second time we have stayed there and will stay there again. I would highly recommend this Hotel to everyone.

First time staying at this property but won't be last when we are in the Hendersonville area again. The staff was fantastic, made us feel at home. Loved the little courtyard with the fire pit and fireplace area for relaxing in the evening

First thing, just like all of the other reviews state, the employees are top notch and treat you like no other hotel I have stayed at does. All smiles and politeness. The breakfast was good enough for being free, no complaints but don’t expect the best breakfast you’ve ever had. The room was clean and well stocked with complimentary goodies that get restocked daily if you choose to have your room cleaned. The indoor pool was fun for my daughter and is constantly being restocked with fresh towels, a few drawbacks are that it was extremely loud and hot. They keep it warm to accommodate guests getting out of the pool so the a/c doesn’t freeze them as they get out of the pool. So if you’re planning on just sitting poolside and not getting in be prepared to get hot. The property is beautiful and has plenty of seating and they have grills available for use. Overall 5/5 stars, you will not be disappointed in booking your stay here. This is my 3rd trip to the area, I have stayed in an Airbnb mountain house in Fletcher with great views, and downtown Asheville at the IGH hotel in the penthouse and both of those didn’t come close to this establishment.

Very attractive, comfortable and clean hotel.

The staff was great, the place was comfortable but pretty outdated. The breakfast was ok.

The staff was polite and easy to communicate with, they went above and beyond. We will be staying there again next time we are in town. The hotel was clean and the rooms made us feel like we were home.

It was very nice with beautiful decor and grounds. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast offered a large variety of items. Checkin took 20 secs. Great place to stay.

The Lodge staff welcomed us and assisted with all of our needs. The eating area was clean and well stocked. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. There were so many nice touches in the room—a basket of snacks, extra pillows and a luggage rack.

Had a wonderful stay here! The property was absolutely beautiful inside and out. Our room was super spacious, staff was wonderful and we loved the outdoor area with a waterfall, lounge area and fire pit. Highly recommend this place to anyone traveling through.

Staff was very nice and accommodating.

First off, what a gem I stumbled upon when searching and I'm really happy we decided to make this our choice! We were immediately greeted by Taylor as we walked in and everyone was very nice and accommodating. Scott also came out and let us know if we needed anything to please let them know. Again everyone was super kind and helpful. Property was extremely quiet and I am a very light sleeper. I also believe it was an off weekend as we had dinner in Hendersonville and nothing was on a wait. The breakfast had some really good options and was super happy to see biscuits and gravy! The outside area had some really nice places to sit and relax. We would definitely recommend the Lodge and would totally stay here for our next visit to the area.
