First time to Europe and to Greece. I went through expedia for a nice hotel location near the ports. The place did not disappoint. For the price, it had fantastic staff, cute little elevator with old style closing door. The room was very clean and tidy. Very close to the markets and lots of great action. Keep up the good work.

We were too tiered when checked in at late night. So, really haven't seen outside area to comment. But hotel staff and specially front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, not too big but in our case to stay just one night didn't matter much.

We were only there to sleep for a few hours. The lady on reception when we arrived around midnight was lovely and extremely helpful. The room was huge and the bathroom was a good size with a great shower although the high hook for the shower head was not working properly although no big deal. The bed was a little hard for me but my husband thought it was excellent. The room was very clean.

Good value. Away from hassle in centre of Athens but 10 minutes from the fan Metro.

I like the fact that it was a walking distance from the port and the environment is so quiet.

We needed a hotel to stay after our return by boat from Naxos. This was an excellent location not far from the port and not far from metro station (to go to airport next morning). Great staff, easy and quick checkin. Small but nice clean room. Small clean bathroom with shower. Easy walk to Marina with many restaurants there.

Given many of the reviews of hotels in area, I was very concerned about arriving on a Saturday night. I have to admit to being quite shocked by how loud the the music was in the streets BUT my room at Faros 2 was absolutely dead quiet. I had a great rest - in a sparkling clean and comfortable room and was off to the islands the next morning. Highly recommend!

Really nice place at a great price. Room was huge and clean and the shower looked old but was unexpectedly powerful which was a good surprise. Very close to a wide range of bars and cafes and about a ten minute walk from the Metro. Our flight was horribly delayed but no problems at all with checking in at 2am.

Air conditioning did not work well. Was not cool enough.

Great spot for overnight before catching ferry to the islands. Walking distance to pier if not overloaded with luggage.

Quiet location only a few minutes walk to everything. Small but comfortable room with AC. Excellent wifi.

Comfortable hotel, near the port of Piraeus, the service and attention of the staff is excellent, the room is very spacious, located in an area where there are nightclubs, if you like the party before taking the ferry, this hotel is ideal, but if you want something quiet is also a good option.

Just the basics, but clean and pleasant room, I found the staff very helpful. The location is convenient once you know where it is, but the signage isnt visible till your right in front of the hote. Essentially meaning once youve finally found it, its easy to see!

We had a great stay at Faros 2 which was close to the ferry port and metro. There are a number of good restraunts and coffee shops close by. The room was comfortable and clean.

It was a pretty good hotel for Athens. Ok bathroom, large room. Beds, pillows Ok. Bathroom small but functional. Some good little local restaurants handy. The hotel staff doing pretty good job. The area is near a Port so don't expect a pretty street walk.

We stayed at faros 2 for our last 2 nights in Greece after we got off the ferry from the islands. We had an easy check in, very nice girls working at front desk and very helpful. They told us how and where to catch the bus or metro headed back to the airport. The rooms where very clean with spacious bathroom. The airconditoner worked well and we had a balcony off our room for an outdoor view. We didnt get a chance to eat at the restaurant.. But on our last day noticed they had room service for your morning coffee so you dont need to leave till your fully awake. We go to Greece every Sept and we will definitely use this hotel for our annual trip to and from the islands.

Excellent hotel close to the harbour. I have stayed here twice now and plan to stay again next summer. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff so helpful. Every day I would come back to clean sheets and towels nicely laid out. So clean. There is air conditioning and a mini fridge and tv in all the rooms. There is a sister hotel just round the corner which can cook you breakfast and meals any time up to 1.30 in the early hours. The food is wonderful and very good sized portions. They will even deliver to your room. Brilliant service all round. If you want a quieter room then the back of the hotel is best as there is a bar opposite. Overall a very good clean hotel.

Stayed in here for one night after our ferry, and found it to be decent for the price. It was pretty clean, quiet, and we got a good night rest.The receptionist was friendly, and polite. Great as a stopover for everyone that doesnt have enough time to make it for their flight after the ferry.
