This is a convention center a bit out of town. The room was nice: good size, modern, comfortable for 2 people. The staff was helpful and attentive. There were some stains on the hallway rug which were a bit unsightly. The on-site restaurant was good but not cheap and not open Sundays. Alternative eating possibilities were few because of the location about 15 minutes walk from downtown. At dinner time we were usually tired from the day's activities and not in the mood to walk again. Bus service was frequent however. We resorted one night to Deliveroo to save shoe leather.

The hotel was large, it’s currently undergoing maintenance. No active use of swimming pool as of (March 2023), works being done to outside facilities including building cladding. It is in good condition with decent rooms. Our room had two bathrooms, but a toilet seat was missing in one, some fittings were loose in the bathrooms. This wasn’t an issue for us as there was another to use. The hotel has a 4 star rating on the front entrance door but not sure about that, maybe 3* star working it’s was to a 4* 🤔 although it does look nice inside. The staff were ok and willing to help. They would order a Taxi for us, but we had to arrange car hire from another source ourselves, this is not clear on website. They let us store bags in a safe room on our checkout day, the front desk spoke good English. All in all we will stay there again as it is in a good location for us and the rooms and hotel did reflect the good price of €399 for two rooms for 2 nights. Breakfast was a buffet, scrambled eggs and bacon. This is a as close as you will get to a fry up. But a large selection of everything else, hams, fruit, breads, cheese, continental style but good. The bar is only open from 5pm till 11pm, not very good for hotel bar as we brought family back for a drink and it was closed. They do give decent complimentary snacks which was very good. You can smoke on the balconies to each room or outside, but not inside that was good.

The property was in a quiet area far from traffic and there was ample parking Rooms were spacious and beds were very comfy , bathrooms were good too!

Pros: I was impressed with the hotel and the room, I got all the comfort I needed. Room was very clean and well isolated, didn't hear any noises during my stay. The bed was very comfortable and there is even a mini fridge in the room. Cons: The swimmingpool was closed for renovation, they didn't mention it in their website or in the reservation / confirmation email. The software system they are using is outdated, they didn't see I had different reservations for different days. I first booked for 3 days and then decided to add another day, they called me after 12pm demanding why didn't I have check out yet. I would recommend to improve their hospitality communication skills since customers expect to receive an exceptional service when staying at a hotel like this. Last but not least, you need a car if you are going to stay here, is in the middle of nowhere.

Fine hotel for reasonable price. Good breakfast and swimming pool. Room and other are fine as well.

We got an upgrade when we checked in, which was nice, but we requested another room as soon as we noticed that the bed was full of dog hair and the room wasn't clean. The new room was better but the mini bar was empty (Free water was promised and should be in the mini bar). The shower head was broken and shooting water everywhere. The water drain was not working well. There was no coffee for the coffee maker. There was no hotel info in the room. The swimming pool looks nice in the pictures but isn't when you see it in real life. On Saturday we were told at breakfast (9:00 am) that there was no more bread. After this we decided to check out and leave one day early. I do need to say that the people at the reception and the restaurant were very nice.

Fab hotel, room & balcony perfect. Reception staff brilliant easy check-in. Fault, Luigi head waiter is the worst I have come across. Miserable, not one smile, in our 2 day stopover. He berated staff & and a fellow diner in front of everyone. Had to wait 15 mins for a menu a further 10 min for a drink with another 10 wait for our order to be taken We decided to eat the following night in our room & when I asked for 2 plates he refused. He ruined a perfectly good stay at a good hotel.

Was amazing

The hotel was just ok. Lots of business people. Pool closed for the winter, and the room temperature is controlled by them, so heater was turned on and it was warm in the room. They offered to bring up a fan but we were checking out the next morning so I just opened the sliding glass door. I did not like the building either, everything in Varese is so charming and the construction stuck out like a sore thumb.

We were very impressed with the hotel. Only one problem is that the room did not have a kettle, or iron. We were told that only the executive suites would have tea and coffee making facilities which I thought was poor given the 4star status.

This hotel is a little out of the way from the main town. It was clean upon arrival. The restaurant and bar area did not have a great selection of food so required a walk into town on most evenings. The pool is lovely and the view out over the balcony from our room is delightful. The counter staff were friendly and helpful.
