Decent and functional low budget hotel. Probably the best in its class in Peterborough, and consistently below £50/n. Downside are the double beds, not king or larger that Premier Inn and even Travelodge have. If your reasons to be in Peterborough are more important that your hotel experience, this place is perfectly fine.

Where do I start,paid £70,about par for what I normally pay at these kind of hotels. NO SHOWER GEL in shower!!!! So had to use the hand gel dispenser on other side of bathroom as it’s fixed to wall!!! Made around four trips in & out of shower(what a PAIN!!!) couldn’t be hassled with drying off ,getting dressed & goiyto reception. This is BASIC stuff for goodness sake(A JOKE) It’s been warm over past few days ,got to room put on air conditioning & it’s barely cold!!!! Had a terrible nights sleep as it was so warm!!! If air con doesn’t work fans should be provided,SO DISAPPOINTING!!!! Won’t return here!!! Stayed at days in Doncaster & that was fab & they provided a fan so it’s not all these days inn are poor,just this one!!!!!😡

It was great for the emergency i needed it for. They said laundry services but that wasnt actually an option which was disappointing.

The hotel is on the same site as 24hr services so there is no let up of traffic noise if you have the misfortune of having a room to the front of the hotel. I had room 204, ok at first glance then you notice the drainage smell coming from the shower, smell of smoke coming through the windows (above the smoking area) and the noise of people out there smoking and talking at all hours. I arrived very late and just wanted a shower and bed. Did not have either. I need to sleep with an oxygen/CPAP machine but there were no plug sockets next to the bed. I asked to change rooms and was informed all rooms are the same. I asked to borrow an extention lead. No extention leads on site. The lad on reception suggested I walk to the petrol station to see if they sell them! Surely I am not the only person who needs a breathing machine at night or a plug socket near the bed? I left first thing, tired and dishevelled. If you have to stay here, ask for a room to the back of the hotel and take your own extension lead if needed. Better still, DO NOT stay here.

We stayed for one night and we were put into a room for disabled people . The light in the bathroom was so dim and to be honest, the tiles around the back of the toilet needs a good clean as the grouting was yellow were males have missed the toilet and wee over onto the tiles. In the bedroom where the carpet goes up the wall was, in one place coming away. The picture on the wall looked liked it has never be cleaned. We have stayed here before and the room was much cleaner.

We choose this hotel because it was on the way between two points. It was better than I thought at the beginning. The room and staff were fine except the soap was pulled off the wall. The place just needed some care.

The bed and pillows were rock solid and uncomfortable. Two cushions had what appeared to be blood stains on them, the duvet was too small for the bed and very heavy, of the two hand and one bath towel only one felt dry and unused, the other two were damp. We were unable to access the heating as when we turned it on there was the sound of air coming through the grills but no heat and no feeling of air disturbance. It was so bad that despite paying for a two night stay we left after the first night.

We had to wait in a queue to check in. The clerk wasn't very friendly. The bed was basic and the shower wasn't especially clean. If you want a second towel (e.g. you are staying as a couple and you don't want to share) apparently you have to ask for it explicitly at the front desk since it won't otherwise be provided. In the morning the main shops weren't yet open in Xtra.

You get what you pay for - I only needed a room for 8 hours. It was cleanish, the bed wasn't uncomfortable. Most importantly it was quiet and I got a good nights sleep.

Basic room in the service station for an overnight stay. Absolutely fine for our night stop. Clean and convenient.

The rooms were fine. The service at the hotel was fine. Quiet rooms. There is no hot breakfast!! There is no restaurant. Otherwise everything was fine.

Simple hotel. Good for the money. Could do with a fan/ac in the room for warmer nights and extras like a hairdryer. Handy being next to the services.

We were really impressed with the laid back feel of the hotel and location close to many amenities.

Fire alarm went off in middle of the night, and the toulet seat was broken

The mattress cover and sheet were too small for the mattress and wouldn’t stay in place. The “bar” is a fridge behind the reception desk! Food options limited to the service station food court next door.

The rooms are a really good size, plenty of space and very big comfortable bed. I had a family room which had a big double bed & a singje pull out bed that could become a double, what would have been more useful would’ve been a sofa bed. For a large room that accommodates 4 people the bathroom was very small with the toilet and shower inside and the wash hand basin outside in the main bedroom. Having all 3 in one bathroom is preferable, I want to be able to do all my bathroom routines in the privacy of the bathroom and not have to do some in the main bedroom area. The room was very clean but when I arrived the heating was full on, the room was very warm, too warm, the first thing I did was turn the heating off, later i discovered why the heating was on full, the window in the room was broken and I couldn’t close it fully. It had been very cold weather but had turned milder so on this occasion it wasn’t a problem but if it had been cold still I would have asked to move rooms. It was disappointing to find in a room & hotel that overall exceeded my expectations. I would stay again but not in a room with a broken window I couldn’t shut. Luckily it wasn’t on the ground floor and was Mild. On the plus side, free parking, good services and just off the A1M for convenience but no traffic noise once inside the hotel. Good value for money.

Easy access from major roads. Easy access to a variety of fast food outlets within a short walking distance plus a choice of restaurants within just a 2 or 3 miles.
