This hotel is to be highly recommended - it was the last hotel on a two week trip around Argentina and we definitely saved the best for last. The service was great and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The hotel itself is great and the last night they suggested dinner in the wine cellar which was fabulous.

Lovely small hotel. The staff were absolutely wonderful. Food was very good. The only caution would be that there is no distinction between rooms with or without a balcony/patio. We wound up in a room without (likely because we requested a twin bedded room).As there are only 2 rooms not having an outdoor space this was disappointing. So specify at booking.

If you are looking for a very cool, boutique hotel with great design, ambiance, food and architecture at a competitive price, this place is for you. It is in a nice neighborhood with good restaurants within walking distance, but excellent food right there. Front desk is incredibly helpful putting together day trips. Would absolutely stay again.

My husband and I had a wonderful time. The hotel is beautiful and very charming and the staff goes above and beyond. The on-site restaurant is also delicious!

It was a good experience, the only complaint is that they changed our room in the last day, because another guest would take our room. It is bizarre, considering they should put them in the room they have put us. As a compensation they pretend to give us a bottle of bad wine, wich we should receive anyway being expedia gold ourselves.

A beautiful little hotel located in agreat location, ideal for exploring the surrounding area and for walking to the local restaurants. The one thing that made this hotel exceptional though, was the management and staff. We were unfortunate to have to be quarantined here (midstay) whilst Mendoza was introducing strict rules due to the Corona Virus. What made this bearable was the hospitality and friendliness of the Hotel, nothing was too much trouble, and even when we were struggling at times with the situation, the staff were always there with smiles and offering to help where they could. The service and friendliness was exceptional.

Lovely hotel with very helpful staff. Pool is nice to cool off in after cycling around the vineyards. We dined at the restaurant both nights and the food was excellent

Lares de Chacras is really a great place with a great staff. The only thing that we felt too complicate was to go to Mendoza city center. Uber and taxis don't work very well and, one evening, part of the group had to wait almost one hour to get to the restaurant. I recomend the hotel but we felt that we would be more free if we had stayed in Mendoza city center.

We absolutely adored this little gem of a property. Our only regret is not staying longer. The staff were phenomenal & exceeded all our requests & made our stay a lovely experience.

Lares de Chacras was amazing - room was so comfortable, restaurant made delicious food and the staff were all extremely pleasant and so helpful. They also had a great complimentary breakfast everyday.

Excellent stay. Their staff is very friendly, helping us organize pick-up and drop-off from the airport. They also helped us arrange a one-day wine-tasting tour to the valley of Uco. The hotel is very cozy also with fireplace.

Spacious room facing the pool and nice decor. Staff were very helpful in arranging biking and wine tours near by and around Uco Valley. Breakfast had a decent range of food

What a great place! (Unfortunately) we just stayed one night and had an amazing experience. The place is cozy, very warm. Personnel makes you feel at home and is always willing to go the extra mile. The owner is adorable and humble. The restaurant is delicious (really it should be ranked among the best restaurants in Mendoza by far!). You truly get much more value for the money you pay. I will definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to do wine tasting trips in the region and look forward coming back for a longer journey

Lares de Chacras is a wonderful, small hotel well situated to visit wineries in Mendoza. It's facilities were limited (basic but adequately maintained pool and jacuzzi), staff friendly and helpful, and accommodations more than adequate. I would have no reservations in recommending it to friends. WiFi bandwidth was pretty limited.

Very quaint property. The staff is all so friendly and desires to make your stay a fun one. From the front desk to the dinner server we felt valued and welcomed. They were very busy at dinner but the service was great and attentive.

I only stayed one night as my trip was cut short due to a pilot strike. The hotel was really delightful. Great room with a nice tearrace and a lovely pool area and jacuzzi. They provided a complimentary glass of wine on check in and have tea and coffee available all day and in the room - though no milk provided but still the only place I stayed in Argentina that had tea and coffee in the room. The local area is really pleasant. Some Good restaurants within walking distance. It is close to lots of wineries but sadly I didn’t get to visit them! Definitely nicer than staying in mendoza

A beautiful, boutique hotel in the perfect location for exploring the vineyards. Rooms are stylish, staff are friendly, breakfast is great and they did a huge BBQ one night. Jacuzzi is lovely and hot, but the pool is cold. I really recommend staying here.

We booked this hotel for our honeymoon and could not have been happier. The room was great, food was excellent and the staff was friendly helpful and attentive. They spoke clear English and were there to meet every need.

Our stay at Lares was great! The staff were friendly and really helpful with booking tours, taxis and recommending places to dine. The restaurant was also amazing and was on par with the parrilla places we ate at in BA.

Upon arrival we were quickly checked in, shown our room and offered a complimentary glass of vino. The room was very spacious with a large comfortable bed and balcony with views of the pool, hot tub and back grounds. The breakfast in the morning was plentiful and the hotel desk clerk was very accommodating to make us reservations at a few local wineries. I would highly recommend the hotel. Only drawback was the night restaurant staff was a bit slow even though it wasn't overly crowded. However they were very cordial and were willing to answer any questions we had about the local area.

Not your run of the mill experience. These people do a great job at customer service. They speak English. You can go down to their private cellar and choose your bottle from a variety of local wineries for the evening. The food is very good and it is quiet. They really pay attention to the details. I would stay here again and again. You will need recommendations and appointments for almost all of your winery visits. We had a wonderful couples massage here which you will need after trying to hit all the highlights in the surrounding wine country. I hesitate to give such glowing recommendations because I want to come back and I am afraid this will make it more difficult, but the efforts of all involved here deserve to be recognized. You won't be sorry.

I feel so lucky to have found this place on hotels.com. Lares de Chacras is a beautiful property, tucked away at the end of a long driveway in the charming town of Chacras de Coria. The place is so comfortable and welcoming -- clean, spacious room with a firm mattress and roomy bathroom with all the amenities. The pool and jacuzzi are surrounded by comfortable chaise lounges and umbrellas. Complimentary breakfast is served on site each morning, including eggs made to order, pancakes, and a variety of continental offerings. Best of all, the staff here are so nice -- most are fluent in English and Spanish, friendly, helpful, warm. From the property, there are several great restaurants within walking distance. Other advantages: comfortable lobby area, wine cellar, in-room safe, free wifi throughout. I would come back to this place in a heartbeat.
