I was greated by Rosa at the front desk who was as friendly and helpful as can be! Hotel is conveniently located, next to train station and 5 minute walk from the old city! Great service and incredibly helpful!

Busy area but we were able to park car close by. Hotel options were full. The area was beautiful and easy to get around.

Amazing stay

Nicely located. Bathroom and shower need to be upgraded. Comfy room and good breakfast. Friendly staff.

Literally a stones throw from the train station, Hotel Mediterraneo clean and modern. Staff are friendly and efficient and the breakfast is good. The only draw back is that it is a little walk to the beach but Cefalú is not a big place so enjoy the stroll.

Cefalu is beautiful and has a very nice beach. The beds could be upgraded.

In walking distance to the old town center of Cefua. We had a quiet room and were happy to have a parking place. Friendly staff and a nice breakfast made it a pleasant stay.

The price was right for the location.

This hotel is a gem! I would strongly recommend it to anyone visiting. Staff are super friendly and helpful!

Everything but the parking lot was easy to get The streets are so narrow that it was very difficult to navigate with the car. Nice breakfast. Helpful bilingual host made the stay pleasant.

A tired looking hotel but with wonderful, helpful staff.

Sorry, but other than friendly desk staff in morning and afternoon, the only good point was it was close to the train station. Bed uncomfortable. Pillow awful and no extra or blanket in closet. Breakfast weak also.

The hotel is ideally situated if you’re travelling by train as it is more or less opposite the railway station. It is a modern hotel. There is a lift. The room we had was large with a balcony overlooking a yard. The bedroom has all you need: king size with a firm mattress, a wardrobe, a fridge, a desk, a tv and a chair. The bathroom has nice blue tiles, shower, wc, bidet, sink, mirror and hair dryer. All was fine until I went to the bathroom in the morning as there was an unpleasant smell emanating from the plugholes. I told the receptionist when I left the hotel and he said he would look into the problem. From the hotel, it’s a 5 minutes to the sea and about 15 minutes to the town centre. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fine with a choice of food. The room and bathroom are clean.

Across the street from Railway Station - just a one night stay to break long train journey from Sorrento to Palermo.

The hotel itself was nothing special and had a little problem with cats. Our host was awesome. He was helpful and very witty. For breakfast he shared food from his own table and offered us more. He made us laugh often.

Our stay was absolutely incredible! This hotel was close to the train station and close to old town Cefalu. Staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great! The only complaint I have was having to leave :) I would definitely stay again!

Arrived in good time in mid afternoon to check in. The receptionist looked flustered and eventually admitted there was no room available. I reminded him that we had already paid and booked months earlier. He then phoned someone on a mobile phone and passed the phone over to me. I was then speaking to someone who spoke good English who said that he could provide a room with a balcony on the centre of Cefalu. With no other option I agreed. We had parked our car at the nearby train station and we were met there and we and our luggage were transported to the Saracen rooms in the heart of the town. The room provided was basic but very convenient to restaurants, beaches, sights etc. I had no more to pay. It appears deal was done between the 2 establishments. The whole matter ended up well as the Mediterranee is not close to the centre of town and is somewhat isolated. I am however annoyed to find that Expedia should be involved in an overbooking and trust that Expedia will ensure that this is noted and acted upon.

Good hotel, in a good location within Cefalu

We were driving in Sicily in our way to Palermo and planned a night in Cefalu. Mediterraneo is next to the train station and with a few steps you are in the center. It's an old hotel that deserves some renovations and the room was small and a bit dark. But it was clean and we were very well attended.

Good walk to all amenities and sites,. Challenging access. Not too noisy

It was only 2 minutes from the station, 5 from the beach and about 8 from the town. Very helpful staff and very comfortable.

Nice hotel, hard beds

Stayed in a quad room on the ground floor with a balcony but not a particularly great view. Building work going on in the hotel was noisy when we arrived but did not disturb our stay. Friendly and helpful staff with a reasonable continental breakfast. Only a minute walk to the train station so very handy if just passing through Cefalu as we were. Ok but not great value.

The staff was very helpful in making sure we had everything we needed and recommended places to eat that were great. There was parking and a good internet connection. Was able to walk to all the sites.

Near to the historic centre. Good breakfast.

Room big enough for 2 adults with 2 children bathroom was dated but clean.

Angelo was great, he looked after us and took care of all the details which need the expert touch of someone who knows all about the local scene.

This hotel was very adequate, not great but good. Room was Ok, the location was a bit far from the old city but not too far. Overall a good stay.
