The junior suite was an excellent room. Big seating area with a sofa, large king bed, bath with separate shower cubicle and nicely furnished. The host was excellent and very helpful. No bar or restaurants operates at the moment but plenty of information is given for options in the town. We were offered the use of a table and plates etc in the restaurant area if we wanted to bring back our food.

Beautifully decorated, spacious and very Christmassy too. The host was super friendly and couldn’t have done enough for us.

Most clean hotel I have ever stayed in. Rooms were beautifully done out - very comfortable and welcoming. The manageress of this family run hotel was so warm and friendly and very hospitable. She could not do enough for you to make your stay the best it could be. I had porridge for breakfast which as perfectly cooked. My husband had the full English breakfast every day which was again beautifully cooked and not greasy. Various teas available including decaffeinated. The breakfast room décor was very attractive.

That we had to leave! Would have stayed longer if we had the time.

Booked my critical, great aunty and my grandad in. They couldn’t fault it at all will definitely stay again and will use for other family members. Very friendly staff very clean and great breakfast, fresh eggs.

The hotel is excellent, very clean lovely host and staff good choice of food on offer for breakfast everything freshly cooked would highly recommended this hotel to friends

Polite staff, good breakfast

The room was excellent and so many little extras provided, ie. Sleep kit, amazing tea, coffee selection, bathing kit. A brilliant breakfast and so cheerfully served. Places to eat in easy walking distance.

There was information about a bar but nothing was available in the evenings.

Lovely breakfasts and extremely pleasant and helpful staff. Our rooms were very clean.

I didn't have an armchair in my room.
