Overnight stay very quiet place to stay

They left shampoo that was use in the room. You should change out the toiletries after each stay. One of the cleaning ladies look like she had her teenage daughter helping her. My comforter had black stains on it.

Only complaints are some of the things housekeeping either misses or just didn't care to clean up. Other than that it was a good stay. Shower water was luke warm. Was expecting a hot shower to relax after touring Gettysburg all day. My review won't allow me to attach the photos of hair, dirt and mold in the bathroom.

Room located on the street side of the property was exposed to loud traffic noise throughout the entire night. Was awakened repetitive times by extremely loud vehicles.

First room I was given was not clean. Beds were not made, towels and tissues on the floor. Second room was prepared but not clean. Dirty sheets, hair in the bath tub and a general smell.

If you need to stay in Shippensburg to visit your kid in college or other-wise this is a great option. The hotel is right in town and close to the school. Rooms are nice, there is a nice restuarant and bar and lots of dining options a short walk away.

Waited at the bar for awhile but no one came to wait on us. We heard people in the back, yelled a few times but no one ever came out. Was disappointed, wanted to watch the game and have a few drinks.

Yes it is an older hotel but well maintained for its age. Staff was extremely friendly. This is good for a one or two nights stay. Breakfast is average.... But there are plenty of eating options within walking distance. Overall a great stay and truly appreciate the flexibility of the hotel and its staff

The room and bathroom were clean, both Queen beds were comfortable, and we had plenty of pillows. The room temperature was easy to adjust, but the unit was a bit loud. The check-in and check-out staff were professional and welcoming. We had a very nice experience.

It was only a night so it was fine. The hotel has a restaurant in it so that was a major plus for us. It’s an old hotel and it shows. The breakfast was good and the bed was comfortable.

Over the 25 years I've been coming to this establishment they've made various changes to accommodate the visitors staying there. Some worked out others didn't, but they keep on trying!

We stayed there before and it's always very convenient when we come in for the end of September for festival. No complaints overall quietness and cleanliness and if you want to take a quiet walk around town that's fine also

Nice historic building but.... our room was sort of clean but could have been better and needs modernizing. Had dinner in the restaurant and there was a dead fly in my wife's salad...

Other than a few noisy vehicles out front at night which is beyond their control the two night stay was pleasant. It was nice to have housekeeping tidy up the room, replace towels, etc during the stay. Many hotels at this level no longer offer that service.

If your room faces King St, get ready for noise! The vehicles that drive by are very loud! It is so loud it seems like you have a window open.

Most of the "downgrade" is due to the fact that our room was at the front of the hotel, on the main street, and the traffic loud, til 11pm and starting at 5:30am. If you stay, ask for a room on the back side.
Hotel is a bit dated, but basically clean and a good value.

Really good solid place. Nothing fancy but clean, quiet and safe. Really good restaurant with outdoor seating. Good free breakfast included . Price was right. Great peaceful vibe.

Great location. Once you park you really won't need to use your car at all. Nice restaurants and pubs full of nice people all up and down the street.
