The architecture and gardens are delightful, the staff very friendly and helpful but the rooms haven’t changed in fifty years that is the first time that we stayed in the hotel the only change we noticed was that with a little bit of luck we get a wifi signal to read an email, overall this place is overpriced compared with same category hotels in Antigua

We love the place, their staff made us feel so welcome that we would like to extend our stay. Will always be our number one choice in Antigua Guatemala. The restaurant is a unique blend, wirh the marimba music and foods.

Love the convenient place accessible to everything via walking. The staff so nice helpful really want to go again enjoy my stay and the responsible and friendly staff. All was so nice kept felt like being in Spain😊😉

Absolutely beautiful older property with multiple lush courtyards and great architectural features. The rooms were relatively simple but the beds were comfortable. There was a restaurant and a bar inside the hotel. They arranged a last-minute shuttle from Antigua to the airport in Guatemala City. Very close to the arch and multiple restaurants, bars, attractions. Would definitely stay again.

The property is located in an premium location, easy to move around and very convenient. The room was clean. However, we were not able to sleep and rest well since other guests were too loud at late hours at night and early hours in the morning. Even though we communicated this the first night to the hotel staff, no one did anything about it. Staff members were loud after hours moving chairs and tables and loudly speaking to each other after an event they had. It seemed like the other event happening with other guests was the only thing they focused and they forgot about other guests not participating at the event.

Came and stayed here for our family vacation in Antigua. Overall, great. We enjoyed the pool area which was great for families. Good food and bar area too.

The overall experience was very good except the rooms don’t have fans or A/C and our window was street front so we couldn’t open the window because of the noise. Also, the mirrors in our room were very small so my wife and daughter were not happy about that.

This historical hotel was beautifully landscaped and the rooms are very clean. There is hot water but our room had no AC however the weather was not terribly hot. I would definitely go back.the staff is super friendly. The location is great.

I loved the location of the hotel, and the hotel itself is beautiful. They give excellent service and are hospitable. The only problem was there was hot weather in Guatemala and the room doesnt have air conditioner. I couldn't open the window because it on a busy street with a lots of lighting so I had to sleep with a fan which is not the best option
