The hotel is an experience, beautiful view. However when remember booking the room with two beds, the hotel at check in, the room I booked is the king size bed. Also a bottle of wine was checked with the room booking, we found out at check out that it is not. The money is not the issue, but it is confusing/embarrasing to find out that it is not complimentary, the reception was helpful, apply $10 spa fee that we did not use and we pay 2 Euro to settled our hotel bill.

San Giorgio Palace has a spectacular location atop Ragusa. When you exit the hotel on floor 5, it's just a few flights of stairs up to the main square in Ragusa with all its sights, shops and restaurants. The staff was very accommodating at check in and departure. The breakfast was great. The only difficulty we encountered was not the hotel's doing but worth mentioning. Apple and Google maps both brought us the upper level of the hotel which required meticulous navigation on tiny streets to reach, only to discover we should have been three stories below on a relatively wide street. Map carefully!

Amazing property built into the hill. Easy free parking on street below and near lower entrance. Elevator takes you up inside the hill to lobby and to city access. Wonderful patio overlooking the valley for the included breakfast. Front desk staff so welcoming. Loved this place. Which we could stay another day. Town of Ragusa highly recommended and also a stay at the San Giorgio Palace hotel!

The Hotel is well located. We were disappointed with room lighting, it was difficult to read and use my laptop. The room became quite warm and stuffy during the night even the a/c was set at 18 C.

This is an excellent hotel but not easily located when driving. The roadside access is easy but the hotel entrance not very visible. DO NOT USE Google maps to locate the hotel - it will lead you to an entrance in the old town with a very, very narrow one way, residents only road. The hotel main entrance is from the main road below the old town. The hotel is not permitted to have a more visible sign so the roadside entrance can be missed. It's a very good hotel.

Contemporary renovation of a historic property. Beautifully designed and decorated. Excellent location for walking and exploring Ragusa. Gorgeous view from the terrace and breakfast room.

Very helpful and pleasant staff. The hotel is built into the side of the hill, on 6 floors. No views of the town but excellent view of the valley. Good access to the town and the parking by lift. Very good breakfast, with panoramic view over the valley. Our bedroom was a little austere for our taste. €15 taxi fare to reach the bus station.

Well functioning hotel in Ragusa Ibla but not a luxurious one. Breakfast was very good. Location of the hotel is great, rooms were clean and people friendly but it lacked comfortable lounge spaces and coffee making facilities. Liquid shampoo and soap were dissappointing and caused rash for sensitive skin. We stayed for a week.

We visited this property in 2014 when only eight rooms were available on a bed and breakfast option. There are now 35 rooms and there has been improvements ie a garden area. The reception staff were very helpful. We particularly like the lift service, which means the exit at top of property is close to Ragusa centre.

The palace rocks! Wonderful modern room, comfy A/C in center of historical side of Ragusa with outdoor patio overlooking Sicilian mountainside. Perfect for a visit to this beautiful Sicilian mountainside town away from the modern hilltop portion of the city.

The hotel was a fantastic find and if we go back to the city this is the only place that I would ever consider staying at. When checking in, it was a coincidence that it was the St of the city's weekend celebration. As such the roads were closed but the hotel reached out well before to let me know, where to park, how to find the hotel and met us at the door. From there, they told us the schedule of events so that we could be part of it while we were checking in. The room was in fantastic condition and the view was amazing. Staying in a lot of hotels, this had the best water pressure with a rainbar shower which is fantastic after a day of walking. The hotel has access to the main streets to explore around the area and the main plaza was only a 5min walk with lots of places to eat. I couldnt recommend this place enough!

Everyone at the front desk, especially Erik were so helpful with everything from the sights to restaurants, Pizza and a Pharmacy! The elevator from the lower parking area is great for people with mobility issues and the rates here are very reasonable

Unexpected nice hotel found in the old Ragusa. Very accessible to old town, connected from the hotel. Very nice breakfast place with quite a vibe.

The place is totally modernized and very comfortable. The location is very center and convenient to go to dome and restaurants. The view is great. The breakfast time is from 7 to 10 am. We went there shortly after 9am, the beacon and egg was no more. The breakfast selection is limited and there was a staff to scope the food. She gave very little for each item we asked.
