Amazing in every details! A home far from home!

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Azul. The hotel is beautiful and the room was very nice and peaceful and grand. The staff were very helpful and polite and attentive and we would be happy to recommend your hotel to anyone visiting Merida. You could improve some things but they are small: 1. They could put boosters in the rooms to improve internet service. We could not really use the wifi because the connection was too weak. 2. They should do something to get rid of the mosquitoes in the breakfast area because there was a lot of them. 3. Housekeeping could be improved slightly. Most good hotels change bedsheets every 3 nights, and if someone is staying 4 nights like us, then usually most hotels will change bedsheets half way through the stay. We had the same sheets all throughout the stay. I save enough water reusing my towels and bedsheets when I am at home so when I go on holiday its nice to have fresh linens

Casa Azul is a classic boutique inn. The room was spacious and beautifully adorned. Step out into the patio and garden area where meals are served. The staff was attentive and available. The hotel is conveniently located two blocks from the Main Street. Wonderful stay.

The hotel is located at the walking distance from the centro of Merida. Hotel staffs are all nice and the breakfast is also good. I will definitely stay this hotel again.

Loved the hotel, beautiful hacienda converted into a small bouutique hotel with really beautiful details like fresh flowers, sleepers, fruit in the rooms, etc. a must in merida!!!

The hotel was a fantastically restored Mérida mansion. It was beautiful inside in ways that are uncommon today: well designed and decorated public areas including interior terraces, a garden and a pool. We had a minor service glitch but they fixed this after we drew their attention to the issue. Food and other services were flawless. Some have mentioned the hotel's location as a flaw, we found it to be a plus. It gave us the opportunity to see the Paseo Montejo on a Sunday (when half of it is closed to auto traffic) and was a 15 minute walk from the central square.

THE HOTEL IS A VERY QUIET AN INTIMATE PLACE FOR RELAX AND LIVING A DIFFERENT ERA. PERFECT DECORATION, STAFF SERVICE.

This is an absolutely stunning hotel. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and every single detail has been perfectly designed. Despite being on a busy road, the doors and windows are so solid and the air conditioning system so good that we didn't hear much street noise at all. A beautiful courtyard where breakfast was served. The hotel staff was also helpful and professional. The only negatives are its location (a bit far from downtown) and the coffee served for breakfast (please serve real, not watery flavored coffee, especially when everything else about the hotel is so top-notch!)

Few boutique hotels appreciate and anticipate guests needs quite like Casa Azul. From that air-conditioners that actually work, and well, to the flexibility of the restaurant's menu and their ability to take requests at almost all hours of the day and night, this place understands what international travelers really want. The ambience is quaint, colonial, charming, and relaxing. We used the small pool every day for several hours. The staff work efficiently enough that there was never a pause or length of time between any request and the fulfillment of it. I could easily go on about every detail of our experience, but suffice it it to say, we will definitely be back. Although Merida didn't capture us as far as a destination we might return to, Casa Azul is a must for any traveler. You'd pay triple the cost for the same value in the states. Next time I need a getaway, I'll fly to Merida and check in here, even if I never leave the property.

Excellent service, friendly staff and an amazing place to stay.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a small elegant venue. The staff was exceptionally helpful and responsive. The restaurant is open only to hotel guests, with breakfast included in the room price. Lunch and dinner are available each day and prices were reasonable, food was very good.

Casa Azul in Merida, Yucatan is a refurbished villa turned into 6-8 suites of great beauty, calm and luxury. For couples with a desire to be quietly together this would be the ultimate in setting. For us, a family reunion with grown children, it provided the space and setting for conversation, drinks, lovely food and happy, warm, nurturing staff and surroundings. We would recommend this for a few days during your Mexican vacation, especially if you choose to learn and see more of the Mayan history and environment you would access from Merida.

This is one of the finest hotels at which I have ever had the pleasure to stay. The staff was absolutely fantastic. The service was par excellence. Every single detail is attended to with perfection. There is no question that when I return to Merida, Mexico I will stay in this hotel again. It truly is a pleasant and amazing experience. I could not possibly recommend this hotel more.
