The breakfast was terrible, very poor for the price. The location has a parking arrangement but it’s located 20 minutes walk from the hotel (very inconvenient). I found public parking for 15 euros per night.

The room was okay. Not bad, not good, just okay. The location was great. Unfortunately there are two jufa entrances. So you have to know the one you are supposed to to, which is very confusing. Plus people are walking on the streets the cars are also driving on. I had to back up from the wrong entrance to about a block to the right entrance. Then I was “greated” by the mayor who said if I stayed there I would get a 55 euro ticket. He did point me to a loading/unloading zone behind the building. Of course he didn’t say that’s what it was for. The hotel said u have to drive 5 minutes away and walk back. Not unexpected considering how old the town is, but you really have to know German to know these ins and outs and understand what to expect. The location was awesome and everything is absolutely walkable even the ferries to kanstanz.

The hotel is located in an ideal and centrally located area. The beds were comfortable and the room spacious. The floor were not clean (hadn’t been washed). The free breakfast was nice, but average in taste and selection.

The breakfast buffet was a great bargain. The staff were very helpful. The courtyard was a wonderful place for early morning and late night discussions.

Clean hotel, good location, car parking was a 10 min walk away. Was noisy while people moving up and down stairs but quiet at night. No air conditioning which could be a problem in summer as room was warm on a 22 degree day.

We slept five of us. Our room was large, with comfortable and sturdy furniture. It is simple, and overall clean. We were able to open our window to a lovely, cobblestone and flower-accented street below. The breakfast was pleasantly memorable, with thoughtful details. We enjoyed it very much! The location is fantastic.

Hotel was good and convenient for a family of 5. Their large rooms accommodating families are about 30m away from the actual hotel building however the big issue for us was the lack of a parking space. The hotel gives you a “parking card” and you are allowed to park at a lot about a km or more away from the hotel. An annoyance if you have ‘forgotten’ something in your car. Otherwise the location is good and close to restaurants and the heart of town. Walking distance of the Meersburg castle. Take the Minau cruise from Meersburg.

Location is perfect within the historic walls. Yes, it's a historic village so there is no car park, but that's easy to find out prior to arrival. Be prepared for that. Yes, it's more of a hostel-like hotel without luxury amenities, again, be prepared for these things and it's exactly as expected. The room had everything we expected and/or needed, no complaints! A historic building in a quiet little village where you can walk to everything. Absolutely will return here!

Poor staff support, didnt have our proper reservation, blamed expedia. Got to room and three beds short! Unapologetic. Took 25 minutes to be seen for checkin. They offered up another inadequate hotel, kilometers down the road and some free drink coupons at the original hotel...wow. This HUGE error caused us to cancel our vacation with no availability anywhere else. The staff could have cared less. Free parking area is a real hike, far away, and requires 50 euro deposit. Recommend avoiding to ensure a worry free trip.

There is NO automobile parking within two blocks of the property. As a couple with a few mobility problems, it was difficult to check in and out with our minimal luggage. If we’d have been on a longer trip, it would have been impossible.
On a more positive side, the facilities were very convenient to the old town of Meersburg with charming shops, cafes and stores. They have done an amazing job of converting an ancient building into a clean, modern, comfortable place to stay in European style, at a very reasonable price.

All the hotel staff was excellent. A full American and European breakfast was one of the best. If I have any complaint it would be the distance from the hotel to the free parking. It was about a 15 minute walk. It was free so no big problem. Great hotel I would recommend it.

Great place in a great city. Meersburg is one of my favorite places in all of Germany. This location was perfect place to stay. Rooms were clean and the views were perfect. I will be staying here again. Great value for your money. You can drive up and unload your vehicle, but Meersburg itself has no parking. The free parking is a 10 min walk away.

This building feels more like a dorm room than a hotel, particularly given the sparse, weird feel of the rooms not at all cozy. One entire wall of rooms faces their kids playground and it is extremely loud. Even if you wait until the kids are in bed, teenagers and drink adults loitered there well into the night and were LOUD. The hotel did nothing to correct this. I could hear everyone slamming windows, and we did too, just to have more muffled noise and a stifling hot nights sleep. Awful.

Enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel. Nice spacious clean room, with reasonable price and great breakfast. Only complaints are that Internet access did not work and parking was not convenient. Had to park further away until early evening when I was able to park in the parkade.

Pleasant house in great location -- in historic part of Meersburg, close to lake, plenty of entertainment options. The hotel itself is a cross of hotel & youth hostel and also caters to school excursions and so on. Would be an excellent choice for families with kids, for whom many aspects seem designed.

This is one of the best places I visited with my family. Everything was adapted to kids: breakfast, dinner, everything. The hotel has 2 playgrounds: indoor and outdoor and are in perfect state ! The staff are so nice and friendly, they waited for us till 23:00 while they are supposed to close at 21:00, I very appreciate their efforts.

Stayed for one night in this hotel. Room amenities were sparce but was tidy and comfortable. The breakfast was very good with a good selection of foods and a nice slow atmosphere. They are keen to get you checked out by 10 and the cleaner was literally at the door waiting for us to vacate. The hotel parking was a bit of a joke as you needed 50 euros deposit (returnable) to get the permit and the car park was a fair walk from the hotel, not great if your travelling light. The groundsman was a happy fella and probably more helpful than the reception staff.

The location to all that is Meersburg could not have been better. The staff was very accommodating. The breakfast was more than adequate and the room was well taken care of.

An attractive and relatively economical hotel. It was very busy with school groups during our stay. Parking was a little difficult and confusing-we ended up using a multi-story a little way away and paying between 9 and 7pm. Breakfast was good and their is a pleasant 'beer garden/ cafe in front of the hotel.

Usual 3* hotel, but there is no 24hrs reception and no elevator working after reception closing in 10pm. Wifi was bad, they should do something with this. Breakfast is good.
