Very nice place to stay

Nice modern clean apartment in a quiet area with birds nearby. Wished we could have stayed longer.

Entrance door is terrible not all the people can close the door. Its so hard that it took few mins and lot of energy just to close the door. Better to repair it for future guests else its can be considered as unsafe. Also communication was not good and might not respond at all.

We arrived very late at night and had no problems checking in. The apartment was beautiful and spacious and we loved seeing horses from the bedroom window! Plenty of space for our family of five. The family room was cozy and comfortable and everything we needed was provided. The only negative was that the dishes and cutlery were dirty, probably because guests are required to wash their own dishes in a hurry before going to airport. I suggest the cleaning crew take care of this and not leave it to guests. The host was very kind and responsive. We only stayed to sleep and left early morning for our flight. We wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy this beautiful property! Highly recommend for families needing space and to be close to airport.

We had apartment 6, its huge and well decorated. 15 min from the airport. Owners let the key in a box, we didn t see them.

Gardur Apartments was a wonderful experience- the apartment was immaculate and we really enjoyed the surroundings. The lighthouse at the end of the road is historical and beyond beautiful. We loved the Gardur area, it is away from the city and offers tranquility yet close enough if you need anything. Very safe and family friendly area and the house is so cute, we just loved it. In addition, the host is very communicative in advance and while you are there and wants to make sure you are happy. This was our first night stay in Iceland so that was such a nice aspect upon arrival.

Nice place; small but quaint and very convenient to the airport. Quiet residential area near the water but we didn’t have time to explore the area near the property. It was clean and comfortable. Would stay here again.

We were only there for a few hours due to needing a place close to the airport but we found ourselves wishing we could have spent a lot more time. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and very modern. Loved the black out curtains especially!

This was a beautiful, peaceful property in a quiet area of Iceland, but very close to the international airport and the capital. Amazing ocean views. I would highly recommend and will definitely book again in the future.

it was close to the airport which was nice. Wish there havd been a washer and dryer available to use. I like that the outlets took all types of plugins I like the area.

This place was exceptional. In great condition, with nice views and an easy walk to the ocean. Plus it's near the international airport.

Horses, and beach view, super nice locals that assisted when i couldnt reach the owners for help with the door.

We were surprised to see only one bathroom for 4 bedrooms. There were 8 beds in 4 rooms and one bathroom. It was little tough for all of us to get ready in the morning. Pay attention to that info. Other than this, place was OK. They even had Disney in the TV. Dining area and kitchen was good.

Somewhat rural, yet close to the airport for the following day’s departure. Close to the shore and close to a pool. Bring what you may need for food to prepare in the nicely equipped kitchen because not much nearby grocery’s. very quiet and clean.

The cottage was well furnished and very comfortable. It is very close to the airport and was a good choice for our last evening in Iceland. There is a walking path along the ocean that leads to a small museum and two lighthouses.

Reasonable and 20 mins drive to the airport. No washing machine and dryer.

Fantastic apartment which we booked for a single night to be close to the airport for an early morning flight. The accommodation was a really high standard and felt so homely as soon as you walked through the front door. All mod cons were provided and the tv had Netflix & Disney+ which pleased our children. The stay was perfect and was only topped by standing outside and watching the Northern Lights until the early hours as the vista provided North views with no light pollution Would highly recommend

Beautiful area away from the city, near the ocean and lighthouse!

It was the PERFECT place to end our 12 day stay in Iceland. It was close to Keflavik & away from the "hubbub" of the city...loved going to the lighthouse, and watching the birds & seals,. Thank you !

This was a Very Nice place to stay. The owners were helpful and the little house is very comfortable. We wished we could have had a longer stay, as one could live here comfortably for a month. Nice and warm, clean, wonderful coffee pods provided, fully equiped kitchen and bath, lovely location near a light house, all we had hoped to have on our first visit to Iceland.

We stayed in a 2 BR cottage. Everything was clean and very comfortable. Margret was very communicative and super helpful. We really enjoyed our stay at Gardur Apartments. We will definitely stay here again.

Very roomy apartment, just off the main road, close to the ocean with a path to and along the Sea.
