The hotel is used as a shelter by the city of NY for homeless people. Only the 5th floor is for guests. Never was told of this when I booked. Horrible hotel. Stay away from it.

Clean attended lobby small fridge quiet coffee in room overall larger then most NYC hotel rooms and felt quite safe and secure

I was very happy with my stay. The room was great and everything was clean. The Front desk was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

Very friendly staff, very helpful staff, but the road around the place is sort of a danger spot in the evening. The hotel is taking the customer's security seriously and the staff is doing everything to support the customer's security, but in such tough area it's hard to find balance. The view of the room was nice (Manhattan view).

Elevator was broken, alarm kept blarring. It was possibly a shelter as well. People yelling in the halls, outside is a whole other story.

Service was friendly, the room was cosy and clean. I didn’t get to check out the gym in the end. Aircon worked well but was loud. Overall totally met my expectations.
Free tea, coffee and water is great too, but the level of plastic in the US is sad.

I enjoyed my stay at Holiday Inn. The staff were friendly, there’s a complementary coffee and water in the lobby area. The room is nice, bathroom is big. What I really like the most is that all the things that I need is already in the room, ex. Iron, hair dryer, safety box, microwave, mini ref, tv, etc). Overall, I had a pleasant stay.
Outside the Holiday Inn, it could be a bit chaotic. I could say that I did not feel safe around the hotel.

Clean, comfortable, friendly receptionist. Good value. I like that toiletries are in large dispensers attached to the wall rather than in little bottles that get wasted, Dove brand.

Was not a good experience. The room had multiple things wiring with it. Theyvkutnmw right next to the elevator and ice machine. Noise all night clue not sleep.

Everything was mid, the shower curtain wasn’t long enough or the bar was too high so water kept spilling out onto the floor. It also would’ve been nice if the tv was smart. But it served its purpose for the quick trip.

My experience with the holiday in was both peaceful and adventurous, I will be booking again soon. The subway is accessible directly down the street from the hotel and there are plenty of food and shopping places to visit…5 stars

My room was sandwiched between 3 other doors and the amount of doors slamming at all hours of the night was annoying and disruptive especially when trying to rest. The room itself was nicely decorated but the bed was a bit uncomfortable, not the best. Windows were not sound proof so traffic noise was very loud.

Thank you for providing me an excellent stay. Room was clean. Atmosphere was quiet. Staff was courteous, friendly and professional. I fellt safe. Everything advertised about the property was true. No disappointments. Again, thanks.

The front desk staff was amazing!!! Ice cold water and coffee/tea available 24/7 which is great. Lobby was flawless. I was let down to find out section 8 houses was the first few floors. Not that the people were bad but a heads up would have been nice.
