We enjoyed a great week at Villa Marguerite in Cagnes-sur-Mer. The villa had everything that we had hoped for. Its closeness to the railway station and beach front was a big plus as well as the beautiful pool area. Our host was very helpful and accommodating especially since our flight was cancelled at the last minute and we had to arrive/depart at different times. My family had a wonderful holiday here.

We were welcomed by Jean-Luc on arrival (we arrived late morning due to an early flight, but he kindly let us leave our cases at the villa whilst the cleaner was still working). He was very helpful and later gave us a tour of the villa and facilities. It is very nice and self-contained. It is well-appointed with nice bedrooms (one with low beams) and en-suites or close-to bathrooms/showers, etc. The wifi worked well for us. The large fridge is excellent and has a very useful ice maker and filtered cool water supply built-in, which we used a lot. The outdoors area is really nice and the heated pool was great for cooling off and relaxing (with a lilo and some floats). Our only slight criticism of cleanliness was the outside tables which we cleaned ourselves (they had appeared clean visibly, but on wiping them there was an obvious film of dust/dirt). I wonder if the cleaner had felt a bit pressurised to finish quickly when we arrived early, so a minor issue really. There is excellent security with electric blinds, electric gate. Air conditioning in the various living spaces was great. There is a small safe too. There weren't any books/games at the villa, but we had brought some games ourselves anyway. All in all a great villa holiday in a lovely area. Lots of amenities at the coast and the town/castle/Renoir museum well worth a visit. Good rail connections too. We were a group of 8 friends (4 couples), who used the Villa to explore the local area via walking or the rental bikes. We also visited Monaco, Antibes and Nice by train. We all gave the Villa a thumbs up, the only issue is that it is in a quiet residential area, so we had to move inside the Villa from the pool/outdoor seating area at 10pm to prevent upsetting the neighbours. The Villa is in a very good location within 10-15 mins walk of Cagnes Del Mer beach (with restaurants/Bars) and supermarkets. And 15 mins taxi from Nice Airport. Jean allowed us to check in early as we landed at 1pm.

We were able to enjoy family time in the large open plan lounge/dining/kitchen as well as in the stunning pool/garden/patio area. We also had lots of quiet space and privacy in the bedrooms which are more like suites, with sitting areas, separate bathrooms and some with direct access to their own outdoor areas. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need to cook for 8. The large fridge, wine store and freezer with chilled water and ice machine were greatly appreciated. The washing machine and drying racks were also very handy. The house is very well situated in a pleasant neighbourhood, close to the beach, shops, restaurants and lots of places to interest all ages. A walk to Haut-Cagnes to explore the chateau, followed by a visit to the Renoir museum is highly recommended. The train station is an easy 7 minute walk from the villa and we made good use of this to visit Monaco, Antibes, Juan les Pins, Eze and Grasse. We also enjoyed local walks to paddle board/jet ski and the electric scooters were a big hit with my teenage grandson. You can hire these from the beach area and return them near the villa. There is so much to see and do in the local area. We were spoiled for choice with lots of cafes, restaurants and bars to appeal to all tastes. We will definitely be returning to this beautiful villa and would highly recommend Jean-Luc as an excellent host.

Lovely property, excellent location and close to amentities. Swimming pool was heated and enjoyed by all. Very helpful owner and efficienct check in process. Would definately return.

The villa is as described, spacious with a pool heated to a perfect temperature. The house was well equipped, everything was in good order and relatively new. The location we found to be excellent, particularly using the train for travelling into Nice and in either direction along the coast with day trips to Cannes and Monaco. There is a supermarket and restaurants on the coast all very near. The owner was a pleasure to deal with, friendly and considerate. When our booked taxi failed to arrive on the day of our departure Jean-Luc helped us out with an alternative. No hesitation in recommending this villa for your holiday.

We booked this villa as a last minute trip. We have stayed in the South of France before but never Cagnes Sur Mer. Super lovely property - very large. Friendly neighbourHood. Pool was perfect for those super hot days. Very close to restaurants and supermarket. We loved the bakery that is next to the local supermarket, the fresh bread is gorgeous! We tried several restaurants along the beach front- highly recommended Bistro ale Pointu ( I think that’s the name) and Cararocca. Jean-Luc was so attentive and was on hand if we needed help with anything. Not that we did, everything was pretty easy to work! Thank you for a wonderful stay! 😊

We stayed at the villa for 2 weeks with our two teenage daughters and their friends. Everything was as described, villa was super clean, well equipped with everything you need available. The lovely owner accommodated an early handover, clearly explaining the property and was always available to assist. Super location, 10-15 mins walk to beach, restaurants, train station, well stocked supermarket and super bakery. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking for a family vila close to Nice and Antibes. Highly recommended. Thank you, Jean-Luc.

We have had a wonderful holiday here. The villa is gorgeous and the photographs indeed do not do it justice . It is absolutely immaculate , very spacious , beautifully furnished and decorated and exceptionally well equipped . Everything you need is catered for and Jean Luc could not do enough for us - a great host . The location is spot on - everything in walking distance and very easy to get the train to explore the entire region . Our only disappointment was having to leave ! We wish we could have stayed for much longer. Thank you Jean Luc for a perfect holiday

Supermarket and boulangerie are within easy walking distance. Train station will take you to Nice, Monaco, etc if you want to travel further afield. Kids spend most of their time in the pool. Air con is super effective and keep the mossies away. Some British tv - no Sky, wifi is good. Jean Luc is very friendly and helpful. He speaks good English. Highly recommend.

Our family stay at this villa was first class. The accommodation was excellent, very clean and well provided with a lovely terrace and pool area. The owner, Jean Luc was most helpful and attentive and his suggestions on our travel and transfer were most helpful. We had a most enjoyable holiday and would highly recommend this accommodation.

The pool was not cleaned regularly during the stay but we just asked JL and he came and cleaned it a few minutes later (only needed once) Very helpful host! The area was nice; close to Nice and Antibes. We used both car and train. It was close to the beach in Cagnes-sur-Mer. The supermarket closed rather early (at 7 or 8) and did not open until 8.30. Good to know! All in all, we had a great stay and would happily go back!

We were staying as a group of 8, the villa is beautiful and is so much bigger than it looks from the outside, we all had our own space and it never felt cramped! Jean Luc welcomed us when we arrived and showed us everything inside and outside the villa, the location is very good it is in a lovely quiet area but only 15 minutes walk to the main town and pebble beach and only 10 minute walk to the train station. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return some time.

Absolutely fantastic , the property had everything we needed and more , it was so safe for our 2 year old grandson , We stayed. in most nights , with a bbq , dishwasher , amazing fridge , ice maker , and a supermarket 10 minutes walk away why go out ? The free bus to the old town took us to one of the most beautiful medieval towns we have seen on the Côte d’Azur, it was the one night we ate out , the food and the views were amazing. A wonderful holiday. The property gets 5* from everyone and that is an accurate score. The pool is very warm and inviting. The patio space is great for meals and relaxing in the evening. Each room has at least one good air conditioning unit. The downstairs bedroom is big enough to be a separate apartment. We used the train all week so no need for a car. TVs in every room and also a satellite link for UK TV in the main living room. Top tip #1: A group of 7 in a single taxi from the Airport = 55 euros. But two Ubers were 13 x 2 euros = 26 euros to the Airport. Top tip #2: Cycling from Cagnes-Sur-Mer to Nice along the promenade was a big highlight. Jean-Luc was very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful.

We were a group of 6 adults and 2 small children ranging in age from 11 months to 69 years. The villa was perfect in every way. Large bedrooms, all with huge comfortable beds, bathrooms and plenty of storage space. Well equipped kitchen, large terrace for eating and relaxing, and a beautiful pool which the little ones loved. Jean Luc has thought of everything to equip the villa for a family. There were travel cots and high chairs for the babies, lockable gates to the barbecue and pool areas, and most important in a villa with tiled floors there are safety gates at the top and bottom of the stairs. Communication with Jean Luc before the holiday was excellent. He responded immediately to requests for information and allowed my daughter, husband and baby to arrive early and leave their bags, then to check in early to the villa. He was there to greet us when we arrived and to say goodbye when we left, allowing us to leave our bags safely as we had a late afternoon flight. A car is not necessary as the villa is about 10 minutes walk to shops, the same to the railway station and about 15 minutes walk to the beach. The trains run along the coast to Antibes and Cannes in one direction and Nice, Monaco and Italy in the other direction. There is a free bus from the town centre up to the medieval village of Haut de Cagnes. Altogether an excellent choice for a holiday villa on the Cote d’Azur.

Wow we had a fabulous time at this property. The house is actually better than the pictures do it justice although the pictures are great. Good location and easy access to local towns and amenities. Could not fault it in any way and we will be back in the future to carry on exploring this beautiful part of the world . Highly recommend this property.

This was a wonderful, well-equipped, high-quality villa that has been well thought-out to give privacy to each element of a family group with the bedrooms being on various individual levels. There is a fabulous large open-plan communal area with all the facilities that you need. The swimming pool was lovely too. We couldn't fault it and are determined to go back. We were a family of 8. including an infant child. The owner Jean Luc was extremely friendly. In summary, excellent! Our top tip, take a taxi from the airport!

We had a wonderful stay in this luxurious Villa. It had everything you needed. We were a party of six women and had room for privacy. The kitchen was fully equipped. The pool was amazing. Everything was in excellent condition. We ate breakfast and dinner on the beautiful covered patio. Can't say enough about the wonderful experience we had. The market and shops were in walking distance. The villa was just a short walk to the Riviera. Thank to the Eyermanns for such a lovely welcome. It was such a pleasure to meet you all. Hope to return. The owners were warm and welcoming. They were a delightful family. We enjoyed meeting them.

Our 2nd year staying here. The location works really well - we don't bother hiring a car, the beach and the shops can all be accessed easily on foot. The local train station is 5 mins walk away. Our kids love the pool and the air conditioning is a big plus. Jean Luc is very friendly. All in all a great place to stay.

This was a fantastic villa and had absolutely everything we needed for our vacation. It was really well equipped, very clean and well maintained, with lots of space for us (5 adults). Jean Luc was very welcoming when we arrived, and very accommodating when we were leaving by keeping our luggage safely stored after we'd checked out. The villa is very comfortable and relaxing away from all the hustle and bustle, but close to the train station making Nice, Cannes, Monaco and more all really accessible.

If you like pristine accommodation, quality surroundings and a thoughtful owner who has taken all the thinking out of the prep for your holiday - then this is the Villa for you! We absolutely could not fault a single thing about the house or the outside pool area - it was spotless and very well organised. Security of the villa is also excellent. Cagnes Sur Mer itself is a lovely little market town and we can highly recommend the market on Tuesdays and Thursdays - a short walk from the Villa. We absolutely loved our stay at Jean Luc's villa, he was incredibly attentive and answered any questions we had. The villa was spotless and the facilities were excellent and very modern. We stayed as a family including a toddler and it was perfect for a family, baby gates throughout and a fenced off pool area which made me feel very safe. The terrace area is fabulous for the evening sun and the BBQ was excellent. It is a short walk to the sea front with free parking on the driveway and on the street. I highly recommend this villa.

The house is very well designed, immaculately equipped and very clean. It is ideal for a family and the swimming pool is superb, the outside areas being very well supplied with good quality furniture. There is no need to have a car as amenities and the seafront are within easy walking distance. The owner Jean Luc is most charming and helpful.

Had a brilliant stay here. The facilities were great especially the heated pool which we used everyday. Jean Luc was very helpful and gave us lots of information about the property and area. Close to train station, shops and sea front. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again!

The best villa we have rented, all 3 families and 2 young children loved the place. Spacious rooms, well equipped kitchen, large beds, good air conditioning and a fantastic heated swimming pool. The villa was in a lovely area of Cagnes short distance to beach, promenade, good restaurants and of course a railway station with regular trains to Nice, Monaco, Cannes etc. We did not have a car and found everything we needed within easy walking distance. Jean Luc was welcoming and helpful - a very nice man. We will return in 2019.

We had a wonderful stay at this villa at the end of May 2017, fantastic location due to the train station being only 5 minutes walk away, we explored Nice & Monaco but you can go the other way down the coast towards Cannes (we didn't have time unfortunately). Villa is gorgeous, very spacious. The pool is great and a good temperature. Very clean and has everything you need! Jean Luc is very informative and on hand if you need him. We were very sad to leave and are hoping to arrange another trip for 2018/2019 :)
