nice change from a traditional hotel room

Delightful front porch except the dust that settles on everything from the dirt road. Believe the porch tables could be wiped down each morning or late afternoon. But again, that might not last long with the dirt road :)

This place was awesome!!!!! Would stay here again and again. Great breakfast and the couple was so awesome!!! And it’s pet friendly!!

One of the only places that I ever feel completely relaxed and peaceful ….even the air in this hotel feels different than other places. This is what “home” should feel like.

This was a last minute stay in Cloudcroft and we weren’t disappointed. Such sweet owners! The B&B has a lot of character and all rooms have a balcony. Would stay here again!

Room was comfortable and clean. Old timey furnishings. Shower was old fashioned but fine. Walls were thin; heard others at times. Breakfast was ok but not memorizable. For the price it was acceptable.

Super nice and very cute with lots of old antique stuff inside. I really enjoyed my stay.

The property was typical mountain landscape. Wasn't quite prepared for being cold indoors but we were furnished with a room heater which helped. Lots of knick-knacks around the place. The host was very cordial and made us feel very welcome.

Breakfasts was miserable….. a scrambled egg, two pieces of toast from a loaf of French bread and a couple of spoons of canned fruit. One cup of coffee. Breakfast cook/server did everything she could to show she didn’t want guests that morning. Got sucked into staying here by pictures on the web. In actuality the place is a a quirky, odd dump.

Cute place, very quaint and decorated with great antique furniture and lots of mountain and seasonal decor. Hosts are kind and hospitable. We stayed two nights, and our host accommodated us with early breakfast and even a to-go breakfast! Recommended for a nice stay in Cloudcroft.

It's unique decoration was a pleasant surprise

Gail and family were very nice and we enjoyed the House and all of their decorations and antiques. Gail’s breakfasts were wonderful!

Scott was great and very helpful! Loved the snow and surrounding scenery. Deer in the backyard and eggs and coffee for breakfast. Can’t beat it!

Quirky place. Comfortable and great location

It was a hallmark home for sure. Dressed up for the holidays. Really enjoyed the owners of the property and felt at home. For seniors the toilets are low and hard for them to get up. Suggest a rail.

The room is freezing and there is only a small space heater in the room. Bathroom supplies are minimal at best

Disappointing. We just wanted simple continental breakfast, but we got breakfast that was very tiny in portions, but atleast it was horm cooked. The owners are very nice, but they did try to sell us to pyramid scheme program. No shampoo, no soap given. We couldn't check-in as they wouldn't pick up the phone in evening. We had to call them 5 times before someone let us in.

I highly recommend it

From beginning to end my stay at The Crofting Inn was great. Upon a late arrival I met with Krista who is the homeowner Gail's daughter. She was kind, gave me the rundown of the house and suggestions of local places to eat or visit at. Gail's place is charming, well kept, clean, cozy, adorably decorated and in the NM mountains which I thought were stunning (first time ever to NM). Gail was great and I enjoyed our conversations prior to my departure. For my first time in NM and first time at the B&B it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend to stay there.

Cute and cozy bed and breakfast. Stayed in Andrew's room and the only issue I had was the claw footed bath/shower. Being a senior I was concerned about using and chose not to. Soap would be a nice enhancement for the bath/shower as well. Breakfast was delicious and found innkeepers to be very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again, but perhaps select another room. Thank you for your hospitality!

The Crofting Inn was a beautiful place to stay! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious! Room was clean and had a cute little private patio. The main house had amazing decor (antiques and seasonal pieces that were just plain awesome!) and the front porch was a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the weather! Will be staying again the next time we go to the mountains!
