During check in processing my colleagues were given another room. The invoice was wrong. And despite my few emails I still don’t get the corrected invoice. Very, very disappointing

Perfect hotel, but I don't understand why a hotel of this price-segment does not make-up the rooms in a daily base.

Great hotel more century place than it looks on the map. Spacious rooms and friendly staff. I stayed in a lot of hotels in Braunschweig and this is one of the best

Check in was effortless even with the corona restrictions it was made easy and clear and quick. Room was exactly what you expect. A wonderful stay

Bathrooms were great. The bed I slept in had an old mattress. The springs in that mattress created hurting spots on my back that didn’t disappear until a after my departure. Staff was friendly but either incompetent or unwilling. We had to DISCOVER on our own that during our stay was there was neither room cleaning nor towel exchange. Fresh towels had to be picked up at the front desk. Nobody told us about the reduced service. There were also other incidences that clearly showed a lack of either competence or sufficient care for the few guests. One reason for us staying at Steigenberger hotels when we are in Germany is their restaurants. The restaurant at this location certainly allowed us to see a glimpse of what it is -under normal circumstances- capable of. But when we ordered a medium burger it came well done. The beef was dry and reminded us of the German large meatball called “Frikadelle”. Worst of all: the meat was thawed first, because the patties weren’t fresh but frozen prior to preparation. I understand that the hotels have an issue with special pandemic rules. But there is no reason to offer hamburgers from frozen meat and not cleaning the rooms.

Breakfast was good, with good coffee. Comfortable bed and a clean room with an excellent shower

Beautiful hotel, very well kept. Large rooms and exceptional bath rooms. A true 4-star place. The only down side were the uncomfortable mattresses that did not provide a good night sleep.

The hotel is in a wonderful location, with beautiful lobby and rooms. I would stay there again. However, the room they first gave me was not made up. The person must have just moved out that day. I called reception and they gave me another room, but this was a first.

Good hotel, well located, comfy bed, great bathroom, good breakfast and OK gym. Overall let down a little bit by underwhelming service in the restaurant and bar.

The Hotel is superb in a wonderful location in a magnificent park. Very handy for Braunschweig Alstadt bars and restaurants. Staff were friendly and efficient.Our room was spotless and very comfortable.Do visit the Okercabana great fun on the river.It was a bit pricey but would definitely stay there again.

I am staying many times at the Steigenberger and I allways love to come back. The package is close to be perfect and nothing to complain.

Stayed several days. An excellent facility with clean, well-maintained workout area and saunas. Comprehensive breakfast buffet and spectacular bathroom. Located on a large park, and pretty river.

Well worth paying a little bit more for the guarantee of an excellent hotel experience. Everything stands out though I must mention the staff, everyone of whom give a perfect customer experience.

The only complaint is that the WIFI was slow.

Located in a nice green park setting, this hotel is one of the few luxury options in Braunschweig. The service is excellent, as is the condition and the cleanliness of the rooms. Taxi’s are available in the morning on a few minutes’ notice and will get you where you need to be in Braunschweig area in under 15 minutes. Room service was very fast and courteous, as was checking in and out. I will definitely stay here again on my next business trip.

The location is very nice; however, The interned was not stable in the room.

Clean comfortable hotel is in a park like setting within minutes walk of city center. Highly recommended.

This hotel is very clean and the staff is very polite and forthcoming. There is a restaurant and bar on the 1st floor with a nice cozy outdoor patio. The room is clean and there is enough space to move around, even with open luggage on the floor. The bed is comfortable and there is a sitting corner with overhead lighting. The bathroom is clean and modern, befitting a 4 star hotel. No bath tub, but an excellent shower with good flow and almost instant hot water.

Braunschweig is my hometown and for future visits I will definitely stay again at the Steigenberger. Located in a park less than 10 min walk from the City Centre it is a nice and quiet refuge after a day of shopping, socializing and sightseeing. The room was superb, especially the bath.

The hotel is very modern and well designed with adequate rooms. The location is in a park but in walking distance to the town center.
