My family and I stayed here 1 night before going to Schlitterbahn. Place was very clean, beds were comfortable, A/C was cool and we enjoyed the indoor pool. Hot breakfast in the morning was good, especially the waffles. My son wished they offered bacon but they did not. Our mini fridge wasn't super cold but it eventually cooled our drinks. Would stay here again if in the area. Price was reasonable.

The hotel is very old and the carpet smells like feet terrible . The room is cleaned but the smell is in the old carpet felt uneasy to walk barefooted … my bathroom did not have a trash bin so we threw the paper in the toilet and it clogged ! Front desk told us to go get a plunger from front desk! Embarrassing ! WTH ! I just can’t with the musty smell of the rooms and the old look in the beds … the hallways were hot ! A lot of workers in the hotel mostly make just a heads up … you can see 4/5 per room … if you are ok in staying in an older hotel that’s clean but you are not picky about smells or your toilet clogging then this is your choice

The moment we walked in the hotel smelled very clean and looked very clean. The front desk staff could have been a bit more friendly, with a smile, although very efficient. The breakfast staff, housekeeping staff, the gardener, all were super friendly and pleasant. We were pleasantly surprised because the hotel is old, but you would never know from the decor, cleanliness and maintenance. The Atrium, decor and surroundings overall very peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed free breakfast with our stay and delicious, even bits of sausage in the gravy! That's extra special for this Texan. Good Job!

Well I made the reservation through hotels dot com and apparently these hotel clerks are making it a point to advise customers that certain opportunities like requesting a handicap accessible room over a regular room can not happen and they can not help since it was booked with third party. And it is final and no changes possible. So if that is the way one wants to start off the relationship of building customer service its horrible. Anyhow my brother who was with me also had some experience with this type of situation so he advised explaining in the hotels dot com chat and see if they would intervene. They tried but the clerk at the location said all rooms were booked. So this is the reason for their mediocre score. Not to mention the keys didnt work for the room and its like you had to try it three times before it would finally open the door.

Great stay no complaints

Only thing didn't like was the bed spread felt like a wash cloth. I sleep on top of covers a lot, it wasn't soft.

Staff was pleasant and accommodating. The room was clean.

It is an older hotel that is showing its age. A time warp back to the 1980’s. However, it was very clean and appeared very well maintained. Modern paint and carpet would go a long ways. For the price I paid I expected a comfortable bed, a TV that worked properly and less noise from the hallway then what I got.

Roach in bathroom..the room stinks.. it’s smells like they tried to cover up the scent of cigarettes with a flowered spray.. and the front desk clerk is not friendly at all.

Our toilet drain was plugged and never got resolved, during our stay. We informed the front desk and the night clerk told us he would bring a plunger and if worse case, to use the restroom near the front lobby. I,ve always used Best Western and I'm really second guessing this one again.

Had a few things to do before attending my purpose for being TX. Everything was so conveniently close. Love the shampoo etc being in shower dispensers. Fragrance was nice, im very sensitive.to scents.i also chose hotel for price and proximity from where I needed to be. Thankfully it wasn't in the midst of the construction.
