The set up was a little different since you had to check in at the neighboring hotel. We were on the 3rd floor terrace which provided the only unobstructed view of the beach. My issue were with the rugs. They didn't seem as clean as they could be.

Our unit was interesting and would be great for a large family. Floors and carpets were dirty - we left our shoes on so that our feet didn’t get dirty. Dishwasher but no dishwasher detergent. No kitchen towels or dishcloth even after we asked for them. Several lights were burned out in bathroom and dining room. Ceiling fans were corroded with dust. Beds were very comfortable and towels and linens were clean and in good condition. We won’t return due to cleanliness issues but the property is spacious and may be fine for vacationers who are interested in beach access. Parking space was extremely tight if you have a larger vehicle.

The couches were terrible and had no cushion left in them - we had very limited kitchen items. We had to call front desk to get a garbage bag because they had only left one. No assistance with bags to door. When I went to check out there was a basket to return keys, the front desk employee was over looking out the window on the phone with a friend.

Very good location. Clean and well equipped. Kitchenette was adequate but no ice maker. Smoke detector was missing. Pool is exaggerated a bit in the photos. It is small and shared by all of the properties. Beach access is awesome. Chairs and umbrellas are provided. Parking is easy and private. Staff was so nice and helpful!

Beds were not super comfortable, some of the front desk staff were not super friendly, others were nice. Other staff around the premises were friendly. Parking for the terraces was awful. We damaged our vehicle trying to force into the space. More toilet paper and paper towels would have been nice and more clean towels.

Super close to the beach and very cute little place. The gentlemen doing the check in were very nice and friendly. I think the housecleaning staff may have overlooked a few things because our bed didn’t have a top sheet - it was in a bag on the sofa, which was odd. So I had to remake the bed myself with the top sheet. And they forgot hand towels so we just grabbed our own out of the utility closet. Overall a great stay.

We were pleasantly surprised with our condo. It was very comfortable and kid friendly. It was very well kept and clean. The only issue we had was with parking but they were very courteous and helped us with parking at the hotel. The views were stunning.

The shower was to small for me I'm a big guy, parking was challenging in the narrow road with other vehicles parked there also but i did it. I didn't notice the outside water sprinkler to wash the sand off right away but glad i found it. Outside basketball court is near the park at the light house which is great. Planet fitness is back over the bridge not far into savannah. Beach was nice, they had some restaurants open at tybee and an IGA store. I wanted to jet ski but they were closed so that was disappointing.

It wasn’t clear at all but the check in for the terrace was down at the desoto hotel but for the price you are close to the beach and it is a large room.

We never received any information about the check in process. I messaged the owner multiple times leading up to arrival and on the day of, none of which were responded to. We got to the property and walked around for about 20 minutes before finding another guest to ask how/ where we check in at. The receptionist put us in room two, even though on online listing said we would be in three. When I asked about the change she stated “at least you have less stairs to walk up.”
Great location, however, the lack of communication and check in process wasn’t the way we intended on starting our vacation.

Room not clean...sand on the floor, sand in the washer, and so many flies in the room (we killed at least 10 during out 2 nights stay.

I loved the view from the porch. We literally ate breakfast and dinner every single day to appreciate the beautiful canvas God created and to feel the ocean breeze. The only thing I was disappointed about was the dryer did not work and all of our clothes were still wet. Other than that, it was a great trip and I will return for further vacations.

The 2 bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor has an amazing view of the beach. Very spacious and very clean. We will be back.

Love love loved this property. We traveled to Savannah for a day at SCAD and decided doing one night at the beach would be a special treat. They allowed us to check in early and it was a special treat to sit on the balcony and watch the waves roll in in January, especially since we are from PA. The apartment was beautifully equipped and furnished, super clean and welcoming. Great wifi. We were in a pickup truck so our parking space was a little tight but we made it work. Are already looking for an opportunity to come back.

We use to live in the unit we stayed in years ago so it was so nice to come back and reminisce. A little funny part, beach was being renourished when we lived there in 2008 and it’s being done now!! Was fun to watch, thanks for an awesome stay and Susan, you’re awesome at the front desk! We always stay with y’all there at The Desoto when we visit and hopefully can continue in the future!

Very unique location and beautiful location. Perfect place to come and stay a few dats. Rocking chairs, hammocks and excellent views. Take the elevator to the third floor and see the ocean and feel the cool breeze! Very southern, very relaxing.

We thought the apartment was even more comfortable than advertised. The kitchen wasn’t well equipped but they came up with a whisk when we needed one.

Excellent location. The first floor terrace was just the right amount of space for my husband and me. Even on the first floor terrace, it was wonderful to lay in bed and still see the sun rise over the ocean. The only downside was the outdated microwave, no pans were provided that actually fit in the small oven, and the pots could be updated.

The bed was very comfortable. Very nice porch with table/chairs and rocking chairs. Kitchen appliances (microwave, fridge, small oven/cooktop, washer, dryer) were older but were in working order. Check in and check out were very efficient. Bathroom is very tiny, it would have been nice to have some extra shelving in there to store things. Property is extremely convenient to the beach.

We loved everything about our stay in despot terrace. The only thing was a/c was permanently on 70. Wouldn't go to 68 like sign said. Other than that everything was great.
The staff wasn't as friendly at checkout but the lady working when we arrived ( I think named Mitchell) she was absolutely great.
This was our first trip to Savannah and an to return soon.

First time at tybee. Stayed at desoto terraces good location on the north side. Easy access to beach . Partial views of ocean were nice to have.Accommodations were better than a hotel suite including a spacious deck. Weather could have been better.
