Second stay for one night, and not the last. Very cosy atmosphere, nothing to moan about. Breakfast with 20 Euro too expensive, especially, because a bakery around the corner offers also nice stuff. We will come back.

Fantastic hotel - outside of the city centre but very quick by taxi and we walked back which was a nice 20-30 minute stroll......lovely room - great staff - nice outdoor terrace - couldnt fault it

We wrote ahead three months asking for a quiet room, high up, away from elevators. We got a room on the first floor up, near the elevators and over the breakfast room.

Friendly staff and service! Room was very clean. Only complaint is the pillows were a bit on the flat side (easily remedied by putting 2 together).

Friendly receptionist upon arrival had me checked in quickly. Room furniture looks new but has a cheap laminate look. Dinnner was great, chef did a good job. Table service was a bit slow. I'd book again for a business stay.

Been here several times due mostly to the location. It's modern and comfortable. No stark negatives. If I would nitpick I'd say that the TV channels are almost exclusively in German with not many English or other language selections.

Hotel Stadt is very new - sleekly modern, reasonably priced. Excellent buffet breakfast, efficient & helpful multi-lingual staff. The tram stop is almost at the front door, and buying multi-ride tickets is easy. The restaurant may be understaffed - took 15 minutes from ordering sorbet to getting it served. Overall, a very good value.

The room had modern furnishings. The bathroom had a great shower and plenty of room. There were two seperate place hang clothing and plenty of hangers. The room safe was easy to use.I like to walk and also to explore an area using public transportation. There is a tram stop in front of the hotel. Many times I walked from the hotel to the main train station as it was only a 15-20 minute walk. There is a great bike path system and bike lanes are right in front of the hotel. They have decent bikes for rent at a reasonable price.This is a truly excellent hotel and I highly recommend it.

The location is on the outskirts of the city, seven tramstops from the middle. It is about as close as anybody can get with a car, as the city centre is pedestrianised and parking is a nightmare. We mistook the hotel for one with a similar name, and so thought we would be closer to the city. However, it is very competently run and would suit families and business guests.

Front desk attending lady upon check in refuse to speak English, the rooms, lobby, breakfast were nice
