The motel was very helpful, as we were in town for medical appointments. They actually allowed us to check in early. My 2 year old grandson locked the bathroom door and came out, and the office staff couldn't unlock it, so they gave us a different room with 2 queen beds instead of one king. The bed I was on was terrible. But it was our fault we got locked out of the bathroom, so I didn't complain. Also, the main reason I chose this motel was because of the kiddie pool. However, it was out of service. That was disappointing, but it happens. Overall, they try. It was clean. and they worked with us on check-in and check-out.

2 of The 5 pieces of workout equipment were broken. The hot tub had what looks like a diaper in the bottom of it about every ice machines broken people come in our room at 11 o’clock The night before we left double book the same room . Never had any cable TV the whole time we were there it was down and the kiddie pool was down also. The bathtub had mildew in it. They did refill our towels that were all used the next morning, but put her hand towels on the back of the toilet instead of the counter. Lastly, the floors in the hallways look stained and dirty

Near new hotel on south end of Rochester. Room was clean and in good condition. I was able to plug in my Tesla for a full charge overnight, reasonably close to entrance. A few minor complaints. My Keoreg in room coffee maker didn't have any coffee pods with it. TV stalled I unplugged and plugged back in it restarted fine. Breakfast had waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal toast, coffee and juice and not much else. It was okay I expected better.

I was never able to check in they Had all the rooms Under repair

The bed we had V in the middle, so we rolled to the middle, remote would turn on and volume worked, but changing channels wouldnt work all the time. Opening and closing the door was hard

I don't know why people would rate this motel an excellent/10. I only stayed in one room....maybe theirs was a 10 ? Not a 9.....not an 8......not a 7. My wife gave it a 5. I enjoyed the sausage for breakfast. I could not find butter for the waffle (not even margarine). Couple bites on my arm when I woke up. Bed is decent enough. Forgot my own pillow. Bummer. If it was my own money (employer paid) I would look for something with a more convincing rating. I think there are too many excellent/10 ratings compared to some of the poorer ratings. Something seems awry ! I believe the staff does a good job. P.S. I saw a review about the carpet. Our carpet was not sticky. I would suggest residue ? After shower and drying off....difficult to put socks on after walking on the carpet. Socks wanted to "hangup" on the bottom of my feet. Certainly not a dump. Just somewhat overrated.

I booked here because of the kiddie pool, which was closed for maintenance upon arrival. Bags of trash remained in the 3rd floor vending area until Sunday as was a pile of laundry at the end of the hallway. Linen was scarce as I requested it to cover the stained couch and seat.I sent my kids to stay with family. TERRIBLE

Nice quiet, comfortable room. Ate breakfast near the end of service, so it seemed a little sparse but everything tasted fine. Friendly front desk staff. Didn't see or try pool. Convenient to restaurants and shopping.

The place looked nice. Room was decent. VERY thin walls and ceiling. Could hear the people above us until around 4:30 am. Could also hear kids running up and down halls until after midnight. Two lights on room also didn’t work.

The staff were very friendly and helpful! The place was clean, but seemed a bit rundown. We booked this hotel because of the splash pad/pool area and found out when we arrived that the splash pad was not working. Our toilet in the room was also not working well.

Had an issue with the first room we checked into smelling like cigarette smoke. Talked to the front desk attendant who quickly offered us another room on a different floor. The property is getting a little worn, but what do you expect when you have a pool, and many kids that stay. The room was in good condition, with some wear and tear but nothing too appalling. The pool area was nice but the mini slide was shutdown, kind of a bummer. The breakfast is okay with eggs and sausage, waffles and grab and go items. The overall premises was clean and felt safe. Staff was helpful and friendly. We’ve stayed here before and have had good stays every time. Nice value for the money.

The stay was fine. We had to fix or toilet at least 3 times because the chain in the tank kept coming loose. The TV remote didn't work, some buttons did and others did not. Our bathroom had a rust stain on the floor and the floors weren't completely clean( there was hair all over the floor that did not belong to us.) There was an old pillow behind the bed and our bed frame was busted. Two of the four ice machines were busted and the pool room was uncomfortably hot (no air flow!) The staff was very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was very good as well. With minor fixes this hotel could be amazing!

Overall the hotel was quiet, clean and in a safe area.

Unfortunately I was sad to see that the continental breakfast was half of what is was when the former food-service person was there-she retired- no meat, one cereal option, cold eggs, and limited bread options- no pastries/bagels. Nor was their once stocked snack area by the desk available...just a couple bags of microwave popcorn- no drinks or snacks so bring your own! Also, apparently the shuttle service to Mayo clinic was discontinued- which had I know I would have booked a hotel closer to the clinic; ended up using Uber which was a cost I had not factored in. However, when I ended up needing to extend my stay another day and the manager was really helpful and accommodating.

I was not happy with this hotel at all. The room was not clean when we arrived. The floors were covered in dirt and what looked to be tobacco. The room which was non smoking reeked of cigarettes. We only had one half used toilet paper roll. And when my partner went to ask the receptionist if we could have more towels and toilet paper, with attitude she said it would be a while. Just to have a male staff member ask what we needed and go right behind the desk into the room and gave us it all. I would not recommend to others.

There was an advertised convenience store online that was completely bare the whole time we were there. There were no towels in the pool area. The remote barely worked to the tv. The hotel had lots of options around for dining and entertainment. The pool was as advertised. The staff was polite although we only talked to 1 person at the front desk (the one who checked us in) when there were about 4 that we saw all together.

There was a peculiar smell and a pet poop in the elevator.

We always book this hotel when we visit Rochester, but this time was very disappointing. When we arrived, there was just a sign at the front desk saying so-and-so was away and would be back any minute. We waited around for ~15-20 minutes until someone finally came and helped us check in. The room did not look like it was cleaned well. The microwave had a strange residue on it, like something had splashed all over and not got cleaned up. The sheets and blankets were stained- something we didn’t notice the initial night, only to find out BOTH beds had stains. We were left with no towels at the pool area, although an employee came into the pool area several times, he never brought us towels. We didn’t want to drip back the hotel room, so we decided to sit in the chairs for a while, which most were falling apart and weren’t suitable to sit on at all. We also noticed an employee standing right outside the main doors, smoking cigarettes right next to the sign stating it was MN law not to smoke in that area. Overall, fairly disappointed as this was our go-to hotel when we visit Rochester and now I think we’ll be looking at other options next time.

Check in was easy and staff was extremely polite. Rooms were clean and we enjoyed our short stay.

Room had dirty towels still under the sink there was dirty socks on the floor by the heater and then under the pullout bed was rotten food and toys. The places smelled like weed when you walked in the door. Also the toilet was broken and wouldn’t flush.

Great to have coffee and a frig in the suite, and an ice machine on our same floor. Dinning options could be better, lots of carbs. Eggs questionable.

Waited 15 minutes at the front desk to get checked in. No one was around. There were 2 other guests waiting for assistance also. The person who checked me in was rude and acted as if I was a bother. The personnel need trained on professionalism. The exercise equipment was in poor condition and the 1 treadmill had been taken apart and left with the pieces spread-out across the floor where someone could have tripped and been injured. The other treadmill was out of order and the tension cables on the exercise machine were frayed. the property was fairly clean, and the breakfast was edible.

Not the worst hotel, but definitely in need of updates.

We got the same room we had a yr ago with a drawer that didn’t stay shut and hide a bed bar that stuck out on couch. Pool was closed for 9 out of 10 days we stayed. Only one washer and 2 dryers worked. Only provided 3 k-cups for coffee maker for 10 day stay. One ice maker worked for 4 floors.

It’s a pretty average hotel. Breakfast was decent and the hotel was quiet. I was disappointed that the pool was closed due to the heater not working. The pool was my main reason to stay there and let the kids have fun, but we were not able to experience that.

Pool was closed and no one told me when checking in. The main reason for booking this room was for my daughter birthday but we didn’t get to swim, there were holes in walls, AC didn’t work and my room had sticky residue all over of I don’t know what!
