Was a safe place right across from Star Medica. Last hour we didn't have running water. Also that the bathroom shower was half ways open I didn't like.

The hotel and the room was extremely dirty, to a point we didn't take our shoes off the whole time we were there because we didn't feel like walking on a grimy floor. The restroom was very dirty, rust everywhere. Communication was not easy with the staff. The beds were riddle with bedbugs --- we didn't sleep all night, including the kids --- we covered the beds with plastic sheets I bought from a store, and rested on that for a little. Next day we were out almost all day, only went to to collect our stuff, shower, change and leave for the airport 10 hours earlier! Horrible!

When we booked this hotel it was to include breakfast. After having breakfast and getting up to leave, they ran after us with a bill. Had breakfast not been included we would not have eaten at this hotel. In a city that has incredible food, their food is just mediocre at best.

All was well with room, but unfortunately the music from the restaurant/bar kept me up at night. I’ve stayed here many times, this was the first time this occurred. I’m sure it was due to location of room which was directly above restaurant. Will never stay in that section again.

Located in the north, near malls, shops and other points of interest. Clean and calm neighborhood, friendly staff and affordable. We didnt spend much time in the hotel but found it worth the price. Their parking is shared with local shops but we never had an issue finding a spot. I would stay there again.

Not what I was expecting from the pictures online

We travelled for medical purpose. We got 1 bottle of water for 3 guests. Towels looked drab.. 1 face towel for 3 people. Noisy.. Other than that,. it was the perfect location for medical.

I was aprehensive because there were so many negative comments. The hotel has two parts, one old and one new. We stayed in the newer part which might explain why our experience was good and others were not. I would recommend the hotel but see if you can't stay in the new part. After making the reservation, I asked for a king size bed. That may be why we ended up in the new part. As a negative, the sheets for the bed were not king size sheets. One the other hand, I think many of the negative comments were unwarranted. There were a few negative comments that were valid such as weak Internet and lack of electrical outlets. I would gladly stay there again.

For our medical trip to Merida, Meson de la Luna was the ideal hotel for us. The location, across the street from Star Medica Hospital, could not have been better. The staff was always gracious and accommodating, even with our limited Spanish, and our room was large, clean and comfortable. The quality of the cuisine in the restaurant was only outdone by the friendly and attentive waitstaff. Our expectations were exceeded. Recommended!

The hotel was very noisy. We stayed here after a cosmetic surgery procedure and the bed was very uncomfortable. Very few staff speak much English and we spoke very little Spanish, so it made it difficult to communicate. Staff seemed put out if asked a question. Not very friendly, but not rude either. I would not recommend staying here if you are non Spanish speaking Americans.

I liked how close the hotel was to my Doctor office as I was there for a cosmetic surgery. The staff went above and beyond for me and my friend who accompanied me. Everyone seem extra friendly and super helpful.

Look no further this hotel is so Great! The rooms are spacious and very clean! It’s the perfect location near shopping and great restaurants ! I personally stay there when needing to see my dermatologist at the hospital across the street . I have also stayed here while recovering from surgery . If coming from Cancun you can get dropped off next door where the ADO bus stop is !! Don’t pass this charming hotel up and fantastic rates on your room!!!

The staff was exceptionally friendly and inviting. They were expecting us and make check in a breeze. The only down falls were the WiFi in the room was t good it kept dropping and when we ordered breakfast it was cold and they forgot certain things that go with our order. But other than that the hotel was amazing.

We stayed at this hotel on the recommendation of our Doctor as the hospital is directly across from the hotel. He said they were supposed to be accommodating to hospital clientele. After my daughter’s surgery she was supposed to keep ice on her face and sleep in an elevated position. I asked the bellman for ice and he said there was none. I then asked for an ice bucket and he said they had none. I then asked the person at the front desk for an extra pillow and blanket. He said he would send it up. An hour later with no pillow or blanket I called and he said the hotel had none. Not very accommodating for sure. The restaurant is pretty good but room service was not so great. We used it twice and each time we did not get what we ordered. Also no napkins either time. The service at the restaurant itself was always excellent. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The pool was nice and clean. Handy location for the hospital. Do not go there expecting an accommodating reception and you will be fine

We traveled for medical reasons and this hotel was perfect! Easy to get to, very conveniently located across from the hospital. Service was great. One small inconvenience was the internet connection inside the room. This was unstable. But if you stepped outside, the connection was better. In any event, our stay was short but this hotel made it absolutely convenient and we had more time to enjoy a little bit of the nearby scenery.
