We had four lovely days in Al Duomo Inn, it has a perfect location close to many things by foot, very good price. Max is a super helpful host, and I can only recommend the place, it is a little place so Max is not there all the time, but the you just call him, he speaks very good english and he will help you. I will stay there the next time I visit Catania. We had a nice room with a little balcony with a view to the Duomo square, Astrid and Jens

This B&B may be considered by some as not visually appealing. But this opinion is soon replaced when one enjoys extreme cleanliness, the availability of the necessary products, and the exquisite attention from the host, Tiziana. Furthermore, the location is excellent.

Excellent location, you can see the Duomo from the balcony. Walking distance to all of Catania’s major attractions. The room is spacious and sparkling clean. The AC was a life saver in July. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Max was very helpful and carried my suitcase up the marble stairs.

We were the only guests the three nights so our breakfast was coupons at a nearby cafe. So, we never got to meet Tiziana but Massimiliano (Max) was great. Super welcoming, lots of hints, called to see if we needed anything middle of the first full day. Location is great.

We were told we would have a full breakfast SERVED from 8:30 -10:30 and earlier if requested but what we got the first two days were items left out on the desk in our room, instant coffee (in Italy!) and some cold items like yogurt in the refrigerator. the third day when another room checked in we were finally given a full breakfast in the dining room which was quite nice. However, when we asked about our full breakfast service the first two days we were told our in room set up was it. Obviously not true.

Arrived at the BnB and was quickly checked into my room. Room was very tidy with additional pillows, blankets and mini fridge stocked with very reasonably priced drinks. Host provided great assistance for nearby restaurants which were excellent. Morning was very quiet which was excellent.

Easy to find and local street parking although you might have to hunt for it. B+B in centre of everything and owners Max and his sister were great hosts. He speaks excellent English. Catania is well worth a visit. Breakfast in B+B excellent on the Saturday but on the Sunday we were given a voucher by the cleaner for a coffee and croissant at a local café. A disappointing surprise.

Al duomo is small and really cozy place to spend a holiday.

This B&B is only a few minutes walk away from a main bus station, and the entrance to Catania’s central square. One needs to advise the owner of arrival time and there is a door bell with speaker. The host lives nearby and arrives quickly. We had a comfortable front room - street noise was reduced by double French windows to a small balcony. The B&B is on the first floor of an old building and has a small reception area and breakfast room. Breakfast is very generous and is served at the guests’ chosen time by cheerful woman. Max, the owner, is a friendly and helpful person who provides tourist advice and will arrange airport transfers. We recommend this as a good choice for international visitors. The fish and fruit market is nearby and tourist sites are within walking distance. Buses to other towns and the airport are only minutes away, as is the main shopping street and restaurants.

Great host, met us and helped us with directions and parking. They provided a lovely breakfast and even packed up additional items for us as we were leaving early the next day.

If you are looking for a simple, basic, clean room in a brilliant location this is the place for you

Pillows a bit flat and bed a bit lumpy but on the whole pleasant place to stay On arrival we had to wait about 15 mins for owner to arrive, breakfast was good great choice , staff were very friendly . will recommend

Although the room was small, the location made up for this. The staff was friendly, hospitable, and helped in any way possible. Breakfast was much more than expected and the restaurants suggested were superb

This B&B was a we gem. Great position for old town viewing and places to eat, take tours from and generally see Catania from. Staff were friendly and helpful with answers to all our questions that were practical.

We stayed one night at this delightful B&B, but would happily have stayed for longer. The room was very comfortable, with a fantastic view, and breakfast was delicious. The host is very welcoming and helpful, and enthusiastic about his town. Highly recommended!
