Bit old and it’s not so clean

This is not ‘quaint’. The door and window security is poor. The fridge had mould in it. The room stunk. The walls were dirty and dusty. The window blinds were broken and mismatched. I’ve never in my life immediately walked out of accommodation- this was a first

The room was not very clean, bathroom had mould on the walls and there were flys in the room from the damaged flyscreen in the bathroom.

It was the most horrible night in my life ever seen it before, very bad experience!!!

The room we were given reflected nothing of the photos on Expedias website. The walls had pen scribble on them. There were no bedside tables or lamps, no pictures on the walls. There was no bath mat to put on the floor for the shower and the tiles were slightly slippery when stepping out. It was quiet enough and the sheets were clean but it was quite a stark difference between the photos and what we actually got as a room. If you’re expecting great value for money - no, you are getting the bargain basement that you’re paying for.

Need a big upgrade

Dirty untidy run down for 100 a night you expect as bit more most people would not stay in 40 a night maybe

Staff was extremely helpful and welcoming space and room was clean and convenient welcomed the options for day stay which was great

Worst place I've been to across multiple countries and locations. Stayed for 10 minutes before checking out. Leftover food in the fridge, patched up holes in wall, unclean floor, broken bin with rubbish in it, shower creen broken, absolutely stank. Do not stay here

Obviously this news very cheap. But cheap isn’t a reason do be completely run down and dirty. Stains all over the walls. Broken floors, sinks and tiles. Water stains all over the roof.

If u like older style buildings, with quirks then this is the place to go. Id definitely come back n stay for sure

No kitchen, no knives, forks, spoons. No wardrobe, no furniture except beds. No doors outside. Everything open. Everything very old. Drawings on the walls.

Iverall its a nice hotel to stay at on a budget.

The photos provided on the web site/s do not accurately reflect the property. I understand that this was budget accommodation & therefore wasn't expecting the world however the overall state of the property is run down. Sheets were clean but, bed covers were dirty. The main entry to each accomodation block is an open doorway accessible to anyone 24/7. Locks on individual room doors are very basic.

Quite poor really. Heater was broken and there was no doona just a sheet and blanket so lucky i had my thermals to keep warm. Also mould in the bathroom and paint chipped on the wall was cover with apple stickers?? Wouldnt pay more that 50 bucks a night for it.

It was very cheap. Love the location as it s close to CBD and Soutbank Parklands

Nice walk to City centre & South Bank.

My room had writing all over the walls and the walls were dirty. The draw had roaches in it. Under the single bed had dirty used tissues. Bathroom had dirty floors and walls. roof had mould on it. Needs better parking

Shower is rusty and molded, the toilet hasn’t been flushed when I arrived. I spotted close to 20 cockroaches during my two night stay… Most of them babies meaning that they don’t really get an exterminator in often. Really gross waking up and seeing cockroaches in and around the bowls and cutlery they provide in the room. Not to mention- the photos they use of the ‘King Room’ on Expedia are major catfish and look NOTHING like when you get in real life. If I could have found another place to stay last minute I would’ve.

When i booked through your app it said it was 5 klms from airport which turned out to be misleading information. It Was 20 klms from airport which cost me $120 return trip the next morning i will never use your app again

The property in general was not clean, the cabinets in the unit were very old and mdf in bathroom was ready to be replaced , stairways were filthy, and staff were not friendy or helfull at all

Hot water in shower but not sink , still quite cheap

TV didn't work Smell of tobacco smoke throughout Hours of people yelling at each other and slanming doors. Threatening each other - assume it was a resident and management?

Perfect location for us and had exactly what we needed

While bed was clean same cannot be said for the unit, Floor was dirty and grubby to walk on, under bed for example did not seem to have been cleaned for weeks. shower glass grubby, walls dirty etc.. could do with some maintenance. unfortunately, we made a mistake and did not read previous comments before we booked. Was noisy drinking out back on our first night which made us feel uneasy but following 2 nights were fine. If we could have obtained refund, we would have moved.

Well it you want a property that stinks of ciggys then this is the perfect place for you, a rock hard bed with stains on the bed sheets, rather disgusted by the state of this when it states no smoking-as a asthmatic I was concerned

Rooms looked nothing like the photos, we found the room to be very dirty with dried blood on surfaces, a needle left in the draw and holes in the bed covers. Customers were fighting in the corridors and made us feel unsafe. Place needed a decent amount of modernisation, reception staff and location were fine.
