The hotel is under construction when I arrived the rude man at the front desk told me that he will not give a room on the top floors because there was construction in the building, the hotel is empty. So the rude man at the front desk covered up his name tag with cord so I could not read his name but I think is Carlos. So this man said there was construction on the top floors and he made a terrible move gave a room in the top floor. My conclusion and that the front desk does not like AMERICANS and he used his position in the front desk to set me up

When I travel to Cucuta, this is the only place I stay. Friendly staff and very clean.

My wife got robbed last month and all documents were stolen, including identification. We file a robbed report in fiscalia and had documentation on the report. New identification takes around 6-8 weeks to be issued. Upon check-in I was not allowed to enter with my wife because she lacks identification. We explained the situation why she didnt have identification and provided photo of the fiscalia report as well as picture of her stolen ID. Nevertheless, they still refuse to let her stay by order of onduty manager. He wanted a physical fiscalia report. They said it was a hotel requirement but i never saw a written statement on ID to all guests in the room. As a frecuent traveler to American hotel properties its never been requiere ID to all room guests; only for reservating guest. I believe its a lack of consideration for oncomig guest being exhausted after 12h flight to be treated the way we did. Its very dissapointing! Coarse inhability to solve this situation. Finally we have to drive over an hour to get the physical fiscalia report. We had a horrible experience. I believe this situation needs to be diligently address honoring the great reputation of property name!

Love the property. The only problem I had was that they need better AC in the restaurant area. Cúcuta is too hot to not have AC as you are eating.

My stay at your hotel was wonderful, I was on the 12th floor and the view was beautiful. Everything from the pool to the restaurant, to the friendly staff was amazing. I really enjoyed my stay there and plan to return in the near future. Thank you staff at the Holiday inn Cucuta for making my stay there a wonderful experience.

This is our favorite place to stay in Cucuta. The rooms are spacious, the dining options are excellent and very reasonably priced. The hotel is central to everything, including the large mall with many restaurant options as well. The staff is always friendly and the facility is always clean. The bathrooms are large and modern. Thank you for another great stay!
