We checked into our accomodation late on Wednesday, so the key was left for us. So on Thursday we thought we would do the polite thing and go to reception and introduce Thora (my husbands assistance dog) and show her documentation. The manager immediately got annoyed and informed us they are not “pet friendly”. An assistance dog is a medical necessity, NOT A PET. To which the manager said “well we can’t say no then can we” She then proceeded to lecture my husband about how she would have to pay for excess cleaning. If they cleaned properly in the first place that’s absolutely untrue. She followed it up by telling him off for booking through a third party website because then she has to pay them a booking fee. If you don’t want to pay said fee, don’t advertise on these sites. It is not the customers responsibility or fault. She then commented about us checking out on a Saturday because she will have to pay the cleaner weekend rates because of us. She also insisted on my husband telling her what the assistance dog is for, even after being shown the official I.D. “What is she for?” Is basically asking a person with a disability “what’s wrong with you?” Rude and ignorant! I will NEVER stay at this property again and will be reporting the ownership to our disability advocate

The cabin was conveniently placed and plainly comfortable.

Stayed three nights. Lounge kitchen area was good. Main bedroom needs a mattress topper but a bit hard. Plenty of dishes. Microwave,kettle toaster good. Big balcony large table and two benches. The BBQ area was undercover Two big lounges and plenty of tables and chairs.

Mattress in main bedroom was terrible. Springs were that worn out there were lumps in it . Should have been replaced years ago. Toilet bowl was not cleaned well. Expected better for the price.

An excellent place to stay, and the help we received was excellent also. Next time we are down that way again we will definitely stay there once again.

We stayed in the two bedroom delluxe cabin, and it was great. Our host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. The cabin was very clean, all amenities provided us with comfort we needed. It is close to the beach, shops and the best bakery. Would definitely come back

Nora and her husband who manage the property are lovely people and always very welcoming. Rooms are nice and clean at a decent price.

Stayed in historic building overlooking harbour rather than cabins. Room was basic but clean and breakfast was included. Friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money.

Wouldn't recommend staying here unless it improves, hygene should be No 1 priority when offering accomodation.

Convenient overnight stop after visiting 12 Apostles on Great Ocean Road en route to South Australia.

Lovely little caravan park hidden within the township. Great bbq area and little playgroind for the kids. Beds were a bit firm, bit everything else was great.

Management (Jason) waited up for us to arrive late - and could not have been more helpful. Definitely coming back to stay again!

Because it was cheap doesn’t mean I have to deal with vinyl peeling off the couch, springs gone in the couch, and a power safety switch tripping when I put the heater on. I moved out a day early and stayed elsewhere

In Portland for weekend only. Good service received from park staff that we had contact with. Cabin was not the newest available which we understood, but certainly showing signs of wear and tear. Otherwise it was all that we needed.

Enjoyable stay with view of Port. Should have a microwave in room. Very quiet and relaxing.

Nice unit, recommended for family.

Great location and value for money

Cabin was not ready when got there at 4.00 in the afternoon. Electrician still working. Cabin was dirty and had to wait for it to be cleaned. Then both the electricians and the staff forgot to plug in the fridge Si I had to throw out about $100s worth food.

High ceilinged room upstairs in lovely old building - next door to caravan park. Great value. Kitchenette attached in next room. Across road from supermarket & walk to cafes, pubs, waterfront area. Only drawback was parking in the street was necessary. Great value.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Accommodation was clean and space was just what we expected. Though free, Internet was exceptionally slow. Could not get hot water in shower. neighbors very close so not as quiet a spot as other similar places we've stayed.
