Great hotel

“Forgot” to clean our room day 1. But brought us clean towels. Last day tried to have us check out 2 hours before their actual checkout time. None the less, staff was extremely nice. Breakfast was really good and I mean really good. Location is right in the middle of restaurants and nightlife.

The revolving door seemed like an issue with all guests. I was surprised that this was a dog friendly hotel because I did not see any information of the website about this. All the dogs were well behaved. The staff had a problem with kids on a floor and the parents did nothing. They had no recourse or security to assist them.

Carpet was nasty, stained but everything else was great.

What a perfect two day getaway! Very convenient location and the hotel was very clean, easily accessible, and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was good with good choices. We loved the coffee and tea available in thought the day; we just wished they left it out a little later!

Hotels.com never sent my reservation information to the hotel!! I’m a very loyal hotels.com user and have never had this experience before. It was terrible! Was at a hotel for my daughter’s 16th birthday with some friends and sat there in the lobby while they looked and looked and could never find my reservation, even with my confirmation email. Eventually they confirmed that it was never sent to them.

The staff was fantastic and loved being so close to Crocker Park shopping.

The staff was very accommodating. I requested connecting rooms, knowing it was not guaranteed. But they were able to honor this request. They greeted you every time you entered. I like that there was local cider in the lobby.

Location walkable to Crocker Park shops. Rooms are average. Hot breakfast is good. The location makes this place worth it.

I enjoyed everything and the parking that came along with the reservation, with easy access and conveniently close.

Fairly new property, clean, large rooms, well-trained courteous professional staff.

The room was beautiful, but the pillows were not so good. The down filled pillows were on the bed, I am allergic to down. All down had to be removed.

We stayed at this property because it was within walking distance of friends in the neighborhood. I would describe as a really, really good Hampton Inn at 2 to 3 times the cost. Lobby, dining area nice. Food comparable. Room comfortable but lack of night light in bathroom a negative. Also, why do hotels all insist on putting comforters on their beds? I find them too hot, even when turning on the AC to lower room temp to 65. Think of the money they could save on heating and ventilation.

During my recent stay at this Hyatt Place hotel, which marked my third visit, I regrettably encountered a lapse in their typically excellent service. While I have been a satisfied guest on previous occasions, this visit was marred by inconsistent housekeeping. Despite requesting daily housekeeping, my room was attended to only once during my stay, and the cleaning left much to be desired. It was evident that the usual high standards I had come to expect were not met during this visit. Besides this isolated experience, I remain appreciative of the positive experiences I've had at this hotel in the past, and I believe that this lapse in service is not indicative of their usual standards. I hope that they can address any staffing or service issues to continue providing the outstanding hospitality that I have come to associate with this hotel.

Loved this property. It’s very convenient to lots of shopping and restaurants. Beautiful and safe area

We were on the property for only eleven hours or so, but had a good stay. The rooms were as pictured, overall very clean (minus a stain or two on the carpets and couch), the staff were friendly. I enjoyed the gym and free coffee. We also liked the location- close to a lot of things and seemed safe to walk around in the evening and morning.

Great location - restaurants, shops, airport, downtown Cleveland, Oberlin! 99% clean and staff is professional. The facilities felt new, though there's a gap in hospitality and service training. Staff didn't go out of their way to help (e.g. they don't check or greet when you walk in or exit, and there were typically 2-4 staff hanging out behind the bar talking and laughing, but you had to call them to attention a couple times). Thinking on cleanliness, I'd say everything was fine but a few things were bothersome: (1) water stain that was damp and seemed to be seeping up from the carpet by one of the beds, and (2) the gym is cramped and far too small for the way people use gyms these days - without a view or window, felt unclean, and a bit unpleasant. The first time I tried to use it, I bent down on the mat to find a worm crawling right under my nose! See attached picture. When I showed the front desk, she shrugged and said, that's just a millipede. I didn't use the gym for a couple days and when I finally used the treadmill after breakfast one day - there were 3 other people at arm's length sweating in a space the size of my hotel room. Finally, as a woman of color, I felt uncomfortable with the fact that all the front service staff were white, and all the back service staff were not. That may explain some part of my experience, maybe not. Not sure I'd stay there again given the price point and my expectations for a 4-star Hyatt.

Our room was very nice. Fire pit outside at night was relaxing. Everything you need is in walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyable stay

Everything was great at this hotel! The free breakfast was super convenient. My only complaint is there was too much chlorine in the pool. Our eyes were burning just sitting outside of the pool and my girls hair was like a brick when they got out, other than that everything was great!
