I loved the location. It was away from the hustle and bustle, but an easy walk to the elevator and down to the harbor. The deck was huge and the view down the canyon was wonderful.

We loved our stay here. It is a cozy room in the hillside of Riomaggiore. The picture included is our view from the balcony. We could see the Mediterranean and beautiful countryside of the town. Our room was clean, had everything we needed and was in a good location. Elena gave us specific instructions on how to get there from the train station ahead of time. We wished we had planned to stay longer in Riomaggiore.

Great accommodations. Clean. Modern. Be ready to walk up steep paths to get to your hotel. Ask for directions to use the elevator by the church.

This hotel was bare minimum in space and amenities. It seemed most suited to hikers and backpackers than to other tourists.

This is a small family-managed property near the top of the town. A bit of an uphill schlep carrying suitcases. But the place is very nice and has an excellent breakfast for 5€.

We were there for our honeymoon. Easy check in/out. We were at the very top and had an amazing patio! It was almost bigger than our room. Amazing view overlooking entire city.

Amazing stay. First and foremost though, the locanda is all the way up the hill past the tourist shops and restaurants. About a 15 minute walk from the train station. Check in was fine. The room was very nice. It was small but we didn't need much. The shower was easily worth the whole room. The pressure was perfect. There is a patio area but we didn't use it. We got a chance to talk to the manager on duty and he was really helpful with getting around Cinque Terre. Riomaggiore was a perfect starting place for exploring the area.

Great family establishment to act as a base to visit Cinque Terre and other Ligurian coastal villages. Four days and still not enough!

The hotel was in constant communication before I checked-in to make sure they answered all my questions. Once arrived in Riomaggiore, you have to walk uphill to find the hotel. But you have to do this to find any hotel. The room was incredible, so roomy and comfortable. I had a room with a balcony which I loved as I was able to sit outside and enjoy the view. The room and bathroom were very clean. They didn't offer breakfast when I visited but this could be because it was low season. The gentleman who checked me in (Jacondo) was very helpful and extremely pleasant. This is the perfect hotel to stay in if you are every in Riomaggiore.

Service was very poor. I was expecting a hotel, even if a small one. The place is just a bed and a bath. Zero service and the workers very uncooperative

Nice family owned B&B but a long walk (like nearly all accommodation in this town. They do come to the bottom of the stairs to take your bags.

We booked this property through VRBO, but did not get the room that was confirmed by the email. We were shown a room with a balancony and view of the water in the pictures and on our confirmation email. We ended up with a small room with no balancony or view. The room was fine overall, but not what we had paid for. The owner claimed the issue is with Expedia, who manages his VRBO postings. He said we had not reserved the room in the picture, but we reserved any room. Do not book through VRBO, but through Expedia to ensure you get the room you want. The good: Clean Friendly staff Free continental breakfast The bad: Did not get the room we booked Owner blames the issue on Expedia Uncomfortable bed and old linens Very far from train station and city center Not worth the price for a small room with no view

Just got back from an amazing time in Italy and stayed at Locanda Ca Da Ride for a few days. Loved it and we cant say enough about the high customer service that Luca provided. The view from our balcony was spectacular and we enjoyed wine and take away dinner there each night versus eating out in town. The location was extremely convenient for sight seeing the towns of Cinque Terre and for eating in town. The added bonus was the parking spot but be sure to contact them prior to arriving for reservation of parking and directions.

Charming character in a really really clean room with balcony and sail above the bed. Couldn’t say anything better than the room was more than we expected for the affordable price. Thank you for being so wonderful and making our stay great. Great view of the ocean and the city were had and. A grocery store was close by. The hill climbing is exhausting so be prepared.
