We had one room with 2 queen beds. Similar to the hotel photos, the room had no table, no coffee table, chairs or dresser; there were few open outlets. The shower weirdly has a window that shows your face to the bedroom.
The low table under the TV and the miniature side table are cluttered respectively with kitschy things like a record player and minibar items. Tiny night tables and the couch are the only places to put anything on. There is a spacious chiller like for drinks in place of a mini-fridge. There are no utensils or microwave. Its seems designed for someone with little luggage who plans to stay only a night.
The room was not well lit. The window looked onto a concrete wall, so no sun into the room to add illumination.
The hotel has plenty of paid parking in public garages a stone's throw from the entrance and restaurants with very good food within a block. A bonus: Whole Foods is a two-minute walk away.
The in-house restaurants also serve generally very good food. The complimentary muffins at the lobby desk were very delicious! The staff is friendly, though almost none of the maids spoke English.
The gym is useful and the short, narrow pool and jacuzzi look fine. The rooftop has a great view of the mountains and Denver.

The location is great. The coffee and snacks are a great perk. The big drawback for us was the bed. It dipped and we slopped into the middle. We both have back issues and if you do as well, the beds here are not for you.

This friendly, cozy boutique offers a rooftop lap pool, loaner bicycles, passes to the botanic gardens, a courtesy car, and 24/7 espresso drinks, pastries and fruit. The rooms are fairly small, like NY apartments, but service and helpful staff made a big impression. We will be back.

Pool are had cigar smoker who staff only asked to stop once other guests complained, difficult to extend stay-let’s and credit card needed to be re-done. Bicycles are not worth riding. This hotel is in a great location but just doesn’t measure up to the area or price,

I checked in to the Halcyon late and the front desk staff found a problem in my reservation. Not only did they resolve the problem, they upgraded my room and offered me a post-happy hour complimentary glass of wine! The hotel is beautiful, in a great location and I will definitely stay there again.

Pool was TOO crowded…rooftop bar was closed for private party on labor day weekend for guest that paid holiday prices…not sure if hotel allows day pool passes for non guests but if they do THEY DEFINITELY SHOULDNT

The staff and service was pleasant but the hallway outside our room was very loud at all hours. Patrons carried out very loud conversations in the hallway from 2AM-7AM which impacted our ability to sleep soundly. I did not have the foresight to pack ear plugs for this short trip and didn’t expect such a significant disruption. Hallway noise can be heard very clearly from within the room. Some hotels impose quiet hours in hallways containing guest rooms and I wish that Halcyon would do the same. I will not be a returning customer.

I’ll start with positives: Cute lobby with nice coffee table/art books. Yummy muffins and complementary coffee in the morning and brownies in the afternoon. A room with board games, cooler back packs, bikes, scooters, and helmets to borrow. (Not sure I want to borrow a used helmet.) Housekeeping staff works hard to keep the hotel clean but it shows its age.
It’d call a “boutique” 3-star hotel; wildly overpriced for the executive suite. Subpar service for the price and star rating. We called ahead and asked to have the sofa bed made for check-in since we arrived late, around 9pm. When we arrived the bed wasn’t made so we had dinner, which was fine. Asked for extra pillows to be sent up the next day, which didn’t happen so we asked again. All in all fine but for close to $1000 a night you expect better service.

On site dining. Excellent rooftop deck with pool. Awesome Mountain View. Able to upgrade to a very nice corner room. Complimentary car service. Upon arrival, a glass of wine was offered. Very impressed with this property.

Beautiful neighborhood/location! Great for families that want to walk to restaurants and shopping, very safe and clean. Hotel is also great about safety and keeping non-guests from sneaking in. Need a room key to access elevator buttons/floors.
Pool is on the smaller side but cool that it’s up on the rooftop and no bathrooms up there, have to take elevator to floor below.

Great stop and the hotel is in a perfect location. Walkable and chic neighborhood with wide variety of restaurants . The hotel itself is fantastic. I wish I could give a 5 star review for service as well, but one of the front desk staff was fairly rude about demanding ID from me after I locked myself out from my room while getting hot water for tea ( there are stations for getting complimentary refreshments on each floor which was a really nice touch). What wasn’t nice was that something that should have been a pretty chill and normal non-event turned into a huge opportunity for someone to revisit how not to talk to guests, let alone other humans .
There was a lovely Texan girl working the front desk when we checked in so I was super surprised to see such a huge disparity in the quality of service between coworkers. The manager did ask me later how things were going and I took the chance to tell him all of this. He seemed interested and like he cared.

Were told we could check-in at 2 as we were in town for a wedding that began at 4. The room was not ready and the front desk kept assuring us it would be ready soon so we waited to get ready thinking we would be in the room soon. Finally, we had to get ready for the wedding in a family members room and were ultimately late for a close family wedding. Had we been told an accurate estimate of when we would gain access to the room, we could have made plans to get ready elsewhere. The entire process was incredibly stressful and disappointing and could have been easily managed by an honest estimate of when the room would be ready by hotel management. Added memorable stress and chaos to what should have been a perfect day which is a bummer.

Super cool hotel in the heart of cherry creek, walkable to everything. We stayed as a family of 4 and the rooftop pool was very swanky yet family friendly. Will definitely stay here again!

Be sure to read the fine print before you book. The hotel adds an additional $40 per night in fees in addition to what you pay for your Expedia booking, which can be quite a shock when you check out
For a hotel of the stature, I would expect the bedding to be much better than it was. Our bed was worn and dipped in the middle, which made it fairly uncomfortable to sleep in.
