Lily cottage was a perfect location for a weekend getaway. Cottage was clean and had everything needed for our stay. Jim and May (owners) were great hosts. They checked in up our arrival and checked throughout our stay. Highly recommend

I couldn't recommend Lily Cottage enough. It's situated about 20 minutes from Woodstock and about 30 from New Paltz, so there's a lot to do, whether it's hiking or visiting shops and restaurants. You pass the Ashokan Reservoir on the way from Olivebridge to nearby towns and it's always a breathtaking sight. I recommend checking out the Davenport Farms stand for fresh produce on the way in. The cottage was very cozy, thoughtfully appointed, and immaculately clean. The cottage is stocked with just about everything you might need, but there's a Dollar General just ten minutes away too. Jim was very responsive and kind. We had no issues whatsoever, but I'm confident he would have been quick to respond if we had. Overall, it was the perfect stay! We're already dreaming about the next time we can visit!

Celebrated our wedding anniversary with a weekend away here. Very convenient to pretty much everything in the area. Cottage was immaculate, comfortable, and quiet! Wind chimes outside captured a windy night like a little symphony (if you're a light sleeper I'd recommend ear plugs just in case!). I'd come back to Lily Cottage in a heartbeat if I was spending another weekend up here.

Wanted to get away for a little “stay in” vacation and also had a concert to go to at Bethel Woods. The cottage was absolutely adorable. Hands down would stay here again. Was easy to find and the surrounding drives were beautiful. Inside was a perfect and had everything I could have needed. Grocery store was about 20 minutes away and easy to get to. Bethel Woods was about 1 hour 20 min but not a bad drive at all if you like country roads. Owners were really nice too and even checked on me during some heavy rainstorms. All in all is an excellent place and I highly recommend staying here.

Lily Cottage is the ideal getaway from NYC. It is such a peaceful location, the property came with every amenity to make us feel right at home. On top of that, Jim and May are very kind and thoughtful and made our stay better than we expected. Highly recommend!

The cottage was comfortable and clean. It was also conveniently located for us to get to and from the Ashokan Center for our weekend music event. Jim was a great host — quick to respond to any questions!

Delightful cozy cottage close to the Ashokan Reservoir…a beautiful area in the Catskill Mountain region! The Ashokan Rail Trail and walking opportunities at the Reservoir were close by. The furnishings were very comfortable and adequate. The owner was very friendly and readily available to answer any questions. Enjoyed our stay!

My Gf and I celebrated our one year anniversary at Lilly’s Cottage. It was an amazing time. Very clean! Very well kept! Very updated! And super relaxing!!. We only got to meet Jim, he was so very pleasant and thoughtful. He made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. There was not one thing I would of Asked for to be different. My partner and I are teachers in NYC and wanted to take little break from the stress. This property and specific area is perfect for such an occasion. I was drawn by the simplicity of this property. It's in a quiet area, with many beautiful hiking trails in a close proximity. It seems very small on the outside, but is very roomy inside. The owners of this property are very attentive to detail. They communicated promptly with me and answered all my questions. The overall experience was very smooth and relaxing. I can't say anything went wrong, because everything was so well thought out. I appreciate everything that was provided to us and would recommend anyone visiting this place at any time of the year.

Took a little weekend getaway. The cottage was cozy with all the modern comforts, too. Perfect for lounging. It is about 20 minutes from hiking. The hosts were attentive and welcoming. And the stars were amazing!

Melissa and James are wonderful people who go above and beyond to be gracious hosts. They were helpful when I needed medical care, assisted in unloading my car in the rain, and asked after my welfare! The cottage is perfect: clean, comfortable and cozy with everything needed for a great weekend. I almost hated to leave and hope to return. Thank you both so much!
