Amazing facilities, we stayed as a family and felt relaxation and comfort. Loved having a bit of respite from main San Sebastián, the settings allow you to immerse yourself in nature. Highly recommend!

This is a modern hotel with a minimalistic approach greatly executed, elegant choices on furniture. As a tourist, you would be 15min from San Sebastián downtown, very reasonable if you have a car and public buses are a block away and they would place you in downtown in 20min. The hotel is in a very green area and rooms facing the patio side great a lush vegetation view. There is a big lobby area very attractive for getting work done, with a large communal table by the lobby and a smaller table (6 people) facing the patio. Many small tables and chairs in the area, perfect for getting work done or just relaxing. The gym is world class for a hotel in this area of the world, which is fantastic for those keeping in shape while traveling. And the outdoors certainly offer great exercising opportunities. Rooms are well maintained, although you can start to see some of the furniture chipping, mainly chairs and desks. Early attention to these details would be appreciated.

Everything went smoothly .the 3 course lunch with wine for €22 was excellent value and the breakfast met all expectations .however when in town we went to the restaurant the concierge said she had booked for us they k had no record of the reservation !

Loved the Spa

I was travelling on business so I didn't have time for the spa and the treatments but nevertheless, the experience was very enjoyable. The facilities are superb and the staff is amazing. They go an extra mile to help you. The cafe serves excellent food and the service is fantastic.

It was a perfect stay. Hotel Arima is the place to stay for us if we are ever back in San Sebastián.

Enjoyed a peaceful 6-night stay at this serene hotel. The spa, while modest, offered a decent relaxation spot. Beautiful, quiet rooms and super-friendly staff made for a relaxing experience. Conveniently located for a short trip to San Sebastián. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely hotel but it’s essentially in the middle of a suburban office park area. It made a good home base for exploring the Basque Countryside but if you want San Sebastián this isn’t it.

The staff are really friendly with a great sense of humour. Rooms are very comfortable. Situated a little out of town, the surroundings are very restful. Vented of San Sebastián is a short bus ride.

Welcoming professional reception, as were the bar and restaurant staff. Nice food in the evening and breakfast. Comfy bed. The building is getting a little dated and bits need replacing, but it would not stop me staying here again.

We had the most wonderful stay here. I was a little worried it wouldn’t be kid friendly but it was great. It’s quite it’s certainly not a kids running around noisily place but they are very welcome. It’s about 10-15 min from centre and beach, we drove and used the bus which was super easy and cheap. The hotel location is beside a beautiful forest that has nice walking / running trail. Breakfast was great and everything was so affordable, hotels so often over charge but drinks at the pool were no more that anywhere else. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Area around lost 1 star simple because it’s a business area with not much to do but the bus makes this no issue.

Great medium sized establishment in the forest area just outside central San Seb. Taxi or bus required for getting into town. Really helpful staff and great service recieved in all areas. They were difficult to contact via Expedia but fine via email and face to face. We had a junior suite which was large and modern. If being very picky we had some very slight wear and tear in our room, and a rogue hair in our shower cubicle, that I hope maintenance keep on top of as the ambiance of the hotel and spa has a lovely spacious and calm vibe. Nothing detracted from the experience, but with such a modern establishment any blemish however small will be more apparent. Decent restaurant and relaxing spa. Gym was well stocked and clean. Hotel car park is underground, clean and secure from the street though can be accessed via the lobby. Very late at night you may have a wait for a taxi to return from town. We would definitely stay here again away from the busy city centre, especially if driving to San Sebastian.

Thank you for a lovely stay at Arima. The parking was very easy and €10 beneath the hotel in the underground car park. Check-in staff friendly and the guest services gentleman was incredibly helpful even booking us an evening meal reservation in the town. Wonderful service. The bus into town runs every 10 min from outside the hotel. Room very clean and eco-friendly. Plenty of complementary toiletries to use for the stay. Roof top pool amazing although the water was far too cold to swim in it with a child unfortunately. Hospital just around the corner. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Very beautiful and modern hotel, very friendly staff, good food. Stunning surroundings, very green. Close to San Sebastian, 5-10 minutes by car to the city. Free street parking.

Great hotel to go and relax and it is not far from the center of San Sebastián

Great facilities and stylish. Amazing spa and swimming pool on the terrace. Very comfortable bed. The design of the whole building and the room are amazing as well.

Perfect hotel for a few days in San Sebastián. Great modern design. Easy access to the centre via local bus, nice to leave the car behind (under ground parking with charging points). Rooms are small but well thought out with attractive decor nice big mirrors and great showers. Breakfast was good but often busy with hard working staff rushing to keep up, perhaps they need one more staff member to help them out. The spa is good although we were unable to book a massage, maybe we should have booked in advance for this. The roof top pool is also lovely for chilling out. Lovely wooded walk to rear of hotel. Don’t miss the Chillida Leku sculpture park 5 mins drive away. Only complaint would be the odd bedding system with open ended pillow cases and sheets rather than duvet covers. A suggestion would be to serve snacks and light meals in the rooftop pool area along with drinks. Noemi Heinrich is an outstanding member of staff, extremely helpful, thank you

Wonderful breakfast!

Excellent hotel.

We chose the suite deluxe and it was really relaxing to wake up with the view outside full of green. The bathtub is big and comfortable. The spa access is not included, 25€ per person. But totally worth it. It’s small but very well equipped and the sauna is 2 people per box, and there were 2 boxes. You can relax with certain intimacy.

Superb! We selected this hotel for its mindful sustainability practice in every area of its property and services - from the building itself, its energy sourcing, waste management and to food services, ALL of it. Truly an oasis on the hill away from the hustle bustle of the town. It really is a quiet retreat and I will be sure to return!

Great stay. Nice and quiet, good breakfast until 1100. Room had lovely bath. Close to city centre on regular bus route.

Fabulous hotel wonderful design The food was excellent from the breakfast, deli cafe and evening restaurant. For top pool with far reaching views. Beautiful walks next to the hotel to enjoy. Only small disappointment was the €25 charge each to use the sauna We will definitely come back next year. Loved the hotel.

Amazing hotel with fantastic rooftop pool, staff were brilliant and breakfast buffet was delicious.

Overall good stay, But we had some issues with the ventilation the first night which caused a relocation to a new room. This didn’t go very smooth and we had to explain too much why we could stay at the original room. Also, we had some issue la with cleaning that three times had not been done before 17 o clock even though we requested it.
