My wife and I had a great few days here at Toledo Bend enjoying a long Easter Weekend. Brought our boat and enjoyed three days of fishing and exploring the south end of Toledo Bend, where we’ve never fished before. Weather was beautiful and the property was perfect for us. We enjoyed beautiful views while grilling on back porch and sitting around the fire pit at waters edge! Great trip!

Property was great! Very clean! A great place to relax and unwind. They had everything we needed. Communication with the host was awesome! My family and I enjoyed our time there!

This property is AS ADVERTISED and I would highly recommend! The location is perfect and LaDonna was very nice and accomodating. I have stayed in many VRBOs over the years and usually there are little things that were missing but this house has everything… kitchen, outdoors, kayaks, beach, lakefront… it is absolutely perfect. Thank you LaDonna, we will be back!

I highly recommend this property. The house is nicely furnished, clean and well kept. The living area has two very comfortable couches and an electric fireplace that was super cozy. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms were stocked with all the essentials. The kitchen had everything we needed and more to prepare meals plus there is a nice sized charcoal grill on the patio. It’s a smaller house but it was the perfect size for our family of four. We spent a lot of time outside of the house though. The lake view is awesome! The lounge area under the covered patio is a relaxing coffee drinking spot and the inflatable hot tub gets the job done to help you wind down. We had fun fishing from the dock but didn’t catch much due to the cold weather. The kayaks were fun too. We found some life jackets in the shed and had a blast floating around the docks. The lake is huge with lots of areas to explore. South Toledo Bend State Park has two hiking trails that are fairly easy. There are also many recreation areas with hiking trails spread throughout the Sabine National Forest. LaDonna was amazing and made sure our stay was pleasant. She was very easy to get in touch with and communicated well with us. We would love to visit again.

We could not have been any happier with our choice to stay here for our weekend girls trip. It was so peaceful staying on the water. The place was even decorated for Christmas and was so fun and festive. The beds were super comfortable and there was every amenity we needed. We used the kayaks during the day and fire pit at night. Any time I had a question, the owners responded right away and were so nice and helpful. I'm not usually one to want to go back to the same place twice, but for here, I'm making an exception! Can't wait to come back.

Enjoyed very much. Everything we needed was there. All I can say is it’s beautiful, perfect setting and all you need is to bring clothes and food. Everything is was provided. We will definitely be going back.

Fisher’s Point was a wonderful place for a weekend getaway. The host, Ms LaDonna, is so sweet and made sure everything was perfect. Upon arrival the hot tub was on and ready for use. The lake house was clean, well furnished, and stocked with just about anything you would need. There is something to do for every age group here. We spent most of our time outside relaxing, fishing from the dock, and watching all of the geese. The lake house is in the perfect location. No noise, great area to swim, kayak, or just watch nature. I highly recommend Fisher’s Point and we hope to come back in the future!

It was an awesome absolutely perfect lake oasis experience, everything to enjoy from fishing, kayaking,to hot tub. Also relaxing at the outdoor patio with outdoor tv. Our family enjoyed the experience immensely! The cabin was fully stocked with anything you needed, we enjoyed all our meals in the kitchen, Ladonna is an excellent host, we appreciate everything,,, I highly recommend this place to anyone! I had been looking for a short get-away for my little west highland terrier and I where he could enjoy the water and I could enjoy beautiful scenery and a hot tub for mental relaxation, and this met every need we had. Despite my poor communication, LaDonna was very patient and provided everything needed ahead of arrival. On arrival, the hot tub was on and ready, the cabin was immaculate and I felt immediately at home. Cell signal varies and was occasionally poor but the Wi-Fi covered my communication needs. I was very impressed with how well-stocked the cabin was for its guests. The neighbors are extremely quiet, and with the porch curtains I felt as though we had our own little paradise. I will be returning soon!

The house is the cutest! The property is beautiful! The beach is an added bonus! Highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful getaway for a much needed break. Surprisingly a well stocked place you can go to without literally bring anything but your clothes!

The cabin was absolutely beautiful… pictures just don’t do it justice. Perfect location for peace and relaxation. It was extremely windy on the lake; however, it was perfect at the beach by the cabin. Highly recommend this property to anyone and everyone.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay, starting with the hot tub that was preheated when we arrived to the great accommodations inside. Wonderful place to stay and definitely will recommend it to friends and family.

House is well stocked, from coffee, seasonings, cleaning goods, games, everything! Wonderful views, comfortable, responsive owners, just can’t say enough about all the small and large details and attention for renters. Unfortunately our weather wasn’t the best but we were able to bbq, enjoy sitting outside and fishing some from the pier. Neighbors and all we met were very nice and helpful.

The host was very thought in having a well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Many appreciative amenities! We had one concern and the host immediately got back to me. Our stay was very relaxing. Fishing was the men’s goal and they did catch! One improvement for Fishers Place would be a cleaning station for those lucky enough to catch fish! Thank you for making our stay enjoyable!

We’ve stayed at a lot of Vrbo properties and this one is by far the best! Fully stocked and such a cute and welcoming atmosphere! We will be back again!

Brought the family for a few days. Did some fishing and kayaking. Had a great time. This place is equiped with anything you need. My son was able to use his electric wheelchair, pretty much the whole property is accessible. Sandy beach was nice. Stocked cabin, sandy beach. Large fishing peir. Would highly recommend.

We had the most wonderful time. The house is inviting and stocked with everything you would ever need. We walked in to music and the lights on. It was so inviting. The beds are top notch. And there are pillows for all different people. A hot tub, a heat lamp, a fishing pier, a fire pit, a hammock and privacy from neighbors if you wish it. Top of the line toilet paper and paper towels, not the cheap hotel stuff. We were so impressed!!! Thankyou so much for all of the little things you provided. It really makes all of the difference. We would love to come back soon. God bless!!!!

This rental was exactly as described. Nicely furnished with plenty of extra item that you don't normally get. Like a variety of coffees, spices, music. Even nice comfy robes for hot tub. Scenery was gorgeous. We will be back.

The lake house was fantastic. A wonderful retreat in the country on a lake. The host has so many little niceties we kept being pleasantly surprised.

I have been renting through VRBO for years. LaDonna was the absolute best! This house was spectacular and was perfect for some R&R, watching football and cooking. Everything was provided. The house was immaculate and even decorated for the Fall. The Lake Views and every amenity provided was perfect. Thank you for a great weekend. If i could give 6 stars I would.!
