Exceptional Stay at Sir Joan Hotel in Ibiza
Our recent stay at Sir Joan Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in luxury and impeccable service. The modern design and chic atmosphere of the hotel created a perfect retreat in Ibiza, blending elegance with comfort.
One of the standout aspects of our stay was the exceptional service provided by it employees. Their attention to detail, warmth, and professionalism made our visit truly memorable. Whether it was arranging last-minute activities, car rentals, restaurants referrals or ensuring every aspect of our stay was flawless, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well taken care of.
A big thank you to all of the employees of, Sir Joan Hotel, for making our time in Ibiza so remarkable. We look forward to returning and experiencing this level of excellence once again.

Really great stay. Couldn’t have gone any better. Pity they don’t invest in a small gym and a sauna as it would really make it complete.

I've got to be honest that I'm not in the scene...What we travelled for (and achieved) was a quiet long weekend of comfort, walking, exploring, and relaxing.
The hotel, which from what I could tell from other places in Ibiza, tries really hard to be "cool".
Now, it achieves that with a lot of touches. Its decor is premium, doors are solid, you can just tell money went into this place to make it what it is. A lot of what we experienced felt premium and started to justify the price.
The staff are friendly and helpful. On one strength, we asked them to recommend and book us a couple restaurants for our time there - and the recommendation were solid (although when we then arrived at one restaurant, our booking wasn't there).
I feel I was asked one too many times if we were going to "enjoy" the Ibiza nightlife. I appreciate it's often what it's known for, but seriously... There's more to Ibiza.
The insistence of having a DJ in the bar (not loud / intrusive... but could have just been a recorded soundtrack) probably unjustifyably annoyed me. It seems everywhere in Ibiza has the same setup.
The room was comfy with clever use of space.
Towels were unneccesarily replaced.
The minbar has laughable prices even for minibar standards.
The pool is essentially non-functional decoration.
The bar has a very poor selection of beers (I guess not their scene).
Location is handy (for port / old town) albeit on a busy roundabout.
Overall, really enjoyed our stay. Minor gripes really.

The Sir Joan is up there as one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. It was cool and contemporary, with well thought through design, and had some of the most attentive and lovely staff that I’ve come across. The food was outstanding, the cocktails perfection, and the facilities and room were just as we needed. We were told the hotel was at full occupancy, but all felt calm and serene and we barely saw our fellow guests. The room (just a standard) was a decent size, well thought through with plenty of space to hide away your things. It would have been nice to have a couple of little seats on the balcony but aside from that it was a lovely room. The plunge pool was exactly as noted - for plunging not swimming and was gorgeous, and although was a small area it was never busy or full and always felt calm and serene. Location was great too, it was a 10 min walk from Ibiza town which had lots of lovely shops and nice restaurants…and only a 5 min walk to Pacha!

I have stayed at this boutique hotel multiple times and I am experienced leisure travel. If travelling by myself, this is my goto Ibiza hotel.
It’s in a great location for Ibiza Town, Marina, Lio and Pacha. Most places are 10 Euro to 30 Euro by Taxi and maximum wait is 5 minutes.
The staff are amazing and are a real family. They are always super helpful.
The hotel has a very small pool area and not on the beach. I don’t mind this because I go on boat days, beach clubs and to restaurants for the day.
Top tip is to walk down to passion cafe for breakfast which is 5 minutes away.
I would recommended the standard rooms which are clean comfortable. Hotel now upgraded to USB and USB-C next to the bed.

The staff are incredible friendly and efficient. Large rooms. Centrally located not a beach my area. Fun Lots of night life near by. Great location to ferry, airport highways connecting easy to other areas

Everything about the hotel was wonderful. The front desk staff, especially Guillermo was so kind to us and made us feel so welcome. Great location. We felt very happy walking to find shops and great food nearby. And again, such friendly staff here. We definitely recommend.

Brilliant attentive and friendly service, nothing was too much. Welcome drink on arrival. Good local knowledge. Rooms are nice and have most amenities. Bar area, restaurant and pool area very cool and vibe.
Eco credentials could improve by relaxing one use items (eg. Dental kit, vanity kit) with plastic free alternatives.

The hotel's staff, paragons of helpfulness and impeccable service, exhibited an unwavering readiness to assist with any inquiries or needs within the city.
The gastronomic experience at their butcher restaurant was particularly noteworthy, featuring delectable burgers that left an indelible impression. The meticulous room service and cleaning services were executed with precision, maintaining a commendable standard. The inclusion of complimentary Illy coffee in the room was a delightful touch, providing a rejuvenating boost to commence my mornings.
Strategically positioned, the hotel boasts a fabulous location within walking distance of the city center and the marina. Undoubtedly, there could be no more ideal property to choose for a stay in Ibiza. I unequivocally anticipate a return to this exceptional establishment, reaffirming my intent to revisit and relish the unparalleled hospitality it affords.

The air conditioner kept shutting down two nights in a row. Had to call the front desk multiple times over two days to fix the issue. Somehow they were flies in the room even though the balcony was never opened. Breakfast was basic with limited options.

We were there for a conference and could not have picked a better hotel for the trip. The location was perfect as being able to walk into town really enabled us to spend the down times in an enjoyable way.

One night. Beautiful stay. Super quirky design. Beautiful bar/pool/area pool very small but so lovely to have. Had lunch at butchers grill..excellent. Public bus from the airport stop just accross the road from hotel €7 each way takes about 20/25 mins. Hotel location excellent right at the edge of the town. Taxi to airport €18. Complementary bikes. Would not fault a thing. Staff fabulous.

We loved Sir Joan. From the moment we walked in and we’re greeted by our names and a warm welcome with Cava. It was our honeymoon so they also surprised us with a bottle of Cava and sweet note in our room. Hotel felt like luxury and everyone who we encountered who worked at the hotel was so helpful and nice.

We stayed as a family group of seven adults - our entire stay was great. The staff go above and beyond - super friendly, efficient and professional. The hotel itself is smart, stylish and uses all of its advantages as a small hotel; staff quickly knew us by name and there is none of the anonymous feel in lots of larger places.

We stayed at the hotel the first day it opened after the covid 19. The place wasn't quite into full flow, the restaurant was fully open and the stunning pool wasn't fully filled with water. But we still had a great time in a beautiful hotel. Room was lovely and staff were really friendly.

As soon as we pulled up in the taxi we just knew this hotel was special. The staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. The rooms were spectacular and the ambience was first class. We loved our stay so much and can’t wait to go back.
