Lovely property

Amazing trip. Couldn’t fault a thing and we go away a lot. Excellent service, lovely big, bright room. Food and drink were fabulous and what a fantastic location.

This hotel needs to decide what it is. Had an expensive room under the top floor bar/club (open to all) and asked to move due to the excessive noise. The manager was very reactive in responsing to the issue (didn’t seem surprised). New room had a toilet which didn’t stop running, needed two members of staff to fix it (but again very reactive). The hotel, especially the communal areas, is in desperate need of renovation. Breakfast in room was excellent (but still a £5 tray charge despite the fact they had no space in the restaurant).

Was great location for walking. Enjoyed the area. Being on yacht harbor felt were part of scene. Rooms were quite nice as was top floor restaurant. Staff were friendly efficient and caring. Bathroom was dangerous as no shower/tub hand bars. Almost slipped each shower. Keys kept not working continuously. Staff very friendly and efficient. The town clean and with friendly residents. Walkable town liked the hotel and would be choice again. The danger shower is concern - heard same from other guests , young and old.

Beware the car park opposite the hotel “your parking space” The car park is privately owned and they do not respond to emails if you are overcharged or dispute you paid for your parking. The company has a notoriously bad reputation for overcharging and have nothing to do with the hotel.

We had a marina view room by the spa on third floor. I had hoped for a view of the quay.

Hotel is good but we have a very negative overall feeling because of the restaurants. On the 6th floor, there is a pizza place (with wood fire oven). We did a reservation but the hostess there decided, for an unkwown reason, that our reservation was not good and she simply refuse to let us eat in the pizza place. Unfortunately, this cause a dispute with my wife and us and, fortunately, we met a young man with who we spoke before and told us to to make a reservation.

I stay in hotels every week for work in the UK, this has the worst customer service I've ever had, and here is why. *when checking in, being told I needed to leave the hotels car park (with 3 disabled guests) before 11am when we wanted to stay till 12 * being refused to sit at a nice table at the bar for an eveneing drink, as it was "reserved for a large group", 10 mins later 2 younger people were allowed to sit there * only 3 breakfasts coming for 4 guests. The 4th came when all 3 had finished. The waiter told us that " boiled eggs was an unusual request so thats why it took so long". * very long wait to be seen by staff for a breakfast table, even though we'd booked * Dirty stains on towels * Dirt stains on my bed runner * I asked the waiter to give me the bill for the breakfast away from my guest's, and waited by the till. He took it away from me and gave it to my elderly guests at the table instead. * dirty tea cups and pots * Being over charged for breakfast, receptionist said it was £20 each, but they charged me £99 on checking out for 4. * When checking out, the receptionist told me they would take car park charge from my card automatically. When on the road home I got a phone call saying that the hotel car park wasnt their's, and I'd have to pay for this online - they sent me a link which won't work so I'm going to have to now call the parking company. All round, a hugely stressful experience ... awaiting a parking fine

Staff was excellent overall, except for the staff in the Jetty restaurant. We had a reservation for our 30-anniversary dinner and very disappointing. We waited over 40 minutes for our table, and it took 25 minutes to get a drink while we waited. The person seating people was rude and did not care. Service during dinner was poor and food was fair (overcooked). The restaurant was only half full, so we left before dessert. This is not a five-star restaurant.

The staff and service provided were exceptional. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and clean. The showers are spacious and amenities supplied were of a good standard. The access to the spa was wonderful, but specially after a long journey.

Super hotel. Great location Great service Great food. Great deck too ! Although they didn’t have any food options for midafternoon. We had hungry family when arrived and no options between 2-5pm.

Only inconvenience is that some rooms are on a floor with no elevator to bring your luggage

Very comfortable hotel with lovely views. Very comfortable beds. Within good walking distance of town. Wasn’t clear that parking was extra when I booked. Nice pool and spa.

Stayed at hotel for friends birthday and went out in Southampton. Hotel is in a great location, very tidy and nice with lovely views from the rooms and restaurants. Service was lovely and very helpful. Food for breakfast was great, service for was excellent

Quite simply one of the most outstanding hotels you can choose. A wonderful location, great service, and the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. Amazing views and great dining options also plus a great rooftop bar. Highly recommended.

Great hotel and great location. Breakfast was expensive and could have had a higher quality. Lovely beds and spacious bathroom.

We only stayed one night but we were so impressed. The property is stunning. The restaurants and bars were great giving me London vibes. All of the staff we dealt with from reception to restaurant were fantastic. The room itself was stylish and super clean. We will definately be back next time we visit Southampton.

This is an outstanding hotel on the water in Southampton. The staff is professionnel, the room is lovely with a balcony and views of the harbour, the restaurant top notch.
