Paul could not have done more for us - Great welcome, attention to every detail, wonderful breakfast and overall one of the best B and B's we have stayed in. We will shortly be visiting Oxford again and will definitely be staying at Sandfield House.

The welcome was genuine the atmosphere welcoming. The owner approachable and knowledgeable. It was warm and cosy in the well maintained bed room. There was no hesitation in providing a breakfast of choice . Altogether a very pleasant stay.

Paul the proprietor was very welcoming and helpful with checking in. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. Overall it was an excellent place to stay and I would highly recommend. I can see myself staying here again.

I have just returned here and discovered it was recently refurbished. It was already a good place to stay and now is even better. The breakfast continues to be excellent and I applaud their commitment to sourcing goods locally. Not only is it a good thing to do the products they use are full of flavour and as you would expect of high quality. Very friendly and informative host. Highly recommended.

I have had a wonderful experience. The home is so cozy and authentic, it is very clean and very well located. The owner, Paul, it's the best! He is truly committed to give you the best experience and makes sure all the time that your are comfortable and your needs are satisfied. He cooks personally breakfast for you and is very happy to give you advices and help on how to move around, what to see and where to eat. I really enjoyed his breakfast area, where you can seat together with the other guests on a big table, sharing stories and laughs like in a big family. The location is great. There are plenty of shops and bus stops right outside of the house and it is very easy to reach downtown Oxford, either by bus (a few stops) or by walking (it is a long walk, about two miles, but very pleasant). This guest house is that kind of place where you go once and you will always want to go back!

Perfect hospitality in a cosy and lovely house. The rooms are clean and you can get an assistance when ever is needed.
