The house was amazing and perfect for our family of 4. It was very clean. The pool was great and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook when we were home for meals. It was a little hard to find at first but it was dark when we arrived. I recommend using waze as google maps took us the wrong way but it was really close. The host was very responsive and helpful. Wifi was better than expected. Very happy overall. Would stay here again!

We had a wonderful two week stay at Casa Ballena Pearl (in January). While very private, the property is conveniently located a new kms north of Uvita with easy road access (except for the last 100 m that requires a 4x4). It could be a challenge, however, to try to find the house after dark for the first time. The house itself is modern and very functional: good air conditioning in the bedrooms, open and bright with fully screened patio doors, comfortable bed and very serviceable kitchen. The pool is not large but just right for two people. We thoroughly enjoyed the calls of the resident pair of toucans and the gaggle of green parrots that came for a squawk every morning, and particularly valued the absence of mosquitos. The staff at Vacasa were very responsible to any minor issues. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely house in the playa Hermosa area (close to uvita). Everything was perfect except an issue with the lockbox which was quickly resolved!

Loved all the great padded, comfortable places to relax and enjoy the toucans, parrots, tanagers, etc. visiting the back yard pool area. Loved the 84-degree pool! Wonderful kitchen with plenty of space for 3 or 4 cooks working at once. Spotlessly clean. There is a large screen TV which we never used. Individual A/C in each bedroom and the large "common" room. But we loved turning off the A/C at night an opening the place up to the natural sounds and temperatures. One hour from Manuel Antonio, (a VERY disappointing place -- WAY too crowded) Excellent beaches are just minutes away. Six of us seniors would definitely stay again.

It was great. Everything is exactly what we needed. And the property manager was super helpful with any needs we had.
