This is a beautiful property and the staff were so helpful and attentive.

Beautiful, colonial hotel with modern amenities. It’s within walking distance to the marketplace and the Cathedral. There is some street noise. The parking is free, covered and the restaurant is convenient for all three meals. I definitely recommend it.

The hotel was excellent overall.

This is a really good location and the property has a great floor plan. The staff is friendly, restaurant was good. The beds are comfortable. We will be back.

Traveling from Seattle Washington. Decided to do a road trip from my house in Granada Nicaragua to Corintos and we stopped here for the night. Let me say it is amazing the people the atmosphere and food in Restaurante La Esquína is superb my compliments to the chief. 10/10 recommend and will be returning.

The hotel has an old world feel with modern amenities. Parking is right in front of reception and very secure. I even left one of my panniers on the motorcycle (locked). There are some nice dining options nearby off the central square and a couple excellent cafes for breakfast or post-breakfast coffee. I was delighted to stay here and would recommend.

Wow, I love Leon. It’s a city that you must visit. Hotel location is great but noisy. Security could easily stop some of the very loud middle of the night disturbances. Had several nights where fire alarm systems went off and they struggled to get them turned off. Staff was always very helpful and friendly. The restaurant food selection was greats and again the service overall outstanding. Management please consider providing water daily. Was told by the front desk that you only are allowed one bottle of water per stay for free. My question is why? This bottle of water should be built into the rooms cost.

Excellent location, a bit noisy if you are facing the streets but amazing views! Great staff too!

Overall, this hotel provided a great experience. The location is absolutely great, and our room had a view directly in front of the Iglesia la Recoleccion. Noise coming from the streets is bearable, starts early, but it is quiet at night, for the most part. There's a grocery store nearby (Union), which is very usefull. The room includes a mini-fridge, a must to stow away your 1$ Tonas. The shower was great, the A/C worked wonderfully, the safe was useful, the bed was comfortable; overall a great experience with the room. We especially liked having a private parking on site, considering how busy Leon can get. The whole hotel feels like a little private island, where you can relax from the vibrant life of this city. There's a bunch of excellent restaurants nearby (Carnivoro, El Bodegon, etc), museums and churches to visit (and walk on), etc. The price might be premium for Nicaragua, but it was worth it!

When you book a room it states the room sleeps 4 if you are use to USA hotels 4 means 4 here if you are more than one guest they will charge a second guest fee why advertise the room that sleeps four if you charge individually it’s more expensive that way

Nice experience. Close to everything. Parking very important. Room at third floor had a beautiful view of La Recolección church. Interiors with AC, very important because of temperatures. Very nice restaurant with beautiful art paintings hanging from the wall. Included breakfast could improve.

After a LONG night in a not-so-nice hostel across town, we were wiped. It is so hot in Leon -- we didn't realize how necessary A/C would be for our sanity. I quickly booked La Recoleccion on Expedia and we ran across town to see how early they'd let us into our room. Even the lobby was a breath of (literally) fresh air! Ahhhhhhh! This was a definitely splurge in our otherwise under $40/night budget for accommodations, but 8 weeks into our trip, it was a nice treat. The bed was comfy, the WiFi was the best we've had in Central America, and the inclusive breakfast was delicious. Oh, and the showers were great too!

The hotel is well located. It is brand new and nicely designed... the breakfast was a little disappointing and not having actual windows is a little strange but overall a nice hotel that is just getting into its groove..

I was charged 45 dollars more than the price Expedia has given me. On which if you don’t do anything about it I will dispute the charges with my credit card. The walls and floors were made of paper, I could heard the people on the top floor, next to me and behind me. I could heard the taxis, bycicles, and people talking on the street, I was on a second floor. Horrible experience. I don’t know how they could charge 115 dollars for that type of room. The walls on my room were dirty, the floor stained, the bathroom title dirty. The toilet paper that they used felt like sand paper. I definitely won’t be staying there. I’m a gold member with you, I hope we could keep working together.

Hotel is new. Very comfortable. Nice area. However there were a lot of extra surcharges that surprised us.

Nice and New hotel, great View of the Recolección chirch, restaurant staff needs more work

The hotel is very nice looking since is a new building. But the ‘free’ breakfast only includes juice/coffee and fruits, real breakfast not included, plus the waitress wasn’t very helpful. The room next to the street are very very noisy, hard to sleep after 5 am.
