PROPERTY FEEDBACK- 3 Banksia Street Broulee Items requiring replacement, serious attention and or immediate maintenance. This property can not be presented as pet friendly as it is lacking in security or safe haven for pets as there is no front gate, rear fencing is falling down and has large holes meaning pets can not roam the garden without constant supervision. There have been 5 incursions of stray or local dogs deep into the front yard. As well the grass at the rear side of the house is long and likely harbours tics, deadly for shade. There is no protected (hail etc.) vehicle garaging or carport. Extremely urgent installation of air-conditioning or at the very least a ceiling fan for the lounge/ kitchen area, one fan for two rooms is not good enough! The front of the accommodation requires an large awning, sun sail or verandah for shade. The exterior temperature on arrival was 24.6c the interior temperature was 53.7c and took several hours to cool to a habitable temperature. The front patio area needs to be paved to 2x2 meters to reduce the transfer of dry grass clippings and leaves from garden to indoors. The current worn out doormat in useless and only collects debris that transfers to indoors. The lack of both means either an inconvenience of cleaning shoes and paws every time one enters day or night. The broken and damaged fly screen door to be replaced immediately as it let’s in insects, cockroaches, ants, spiders and skinks. The new screen door should have an auto closer. The sensor light requires adjustment to allow time to at least walk from house to gate and back (to place rubbish in bins etc.) The front door should be replaced by a sold outer door. The double glass doors at front of accommodation can not be opened at any time as the are no fly screens. Maybe consider a roll down screen. The very small computer monitor sized TV should be replaced by much larger wall mounted TV. The tangled mess is of cables on floor behind the TV a serious fire safety risk and makes proper cleaning of that area near impossible. There was no fire extinguisher or fire blanket. The lack of WIFI and streaming availability seriously compromises the price charged and value of any stay and equates to a conservative 35%-40% over pricing. THE ABOVE IS ONLY A THIRD OF THE FULL REVIEW. Please advise how to pass the full review to Stays as there are other safety and cost issues!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Shack was basic but had everything we needed, plus a few thoughtful extras. Easy walking distance to the beach. Fantastic to have so much garden space for our two dogs! Fence is in poor repair, so a determined dog could easily escape, but luckily ours didn't attempt a jailbreak. Reservation process and check in/out was straightforward. Thank you for a great weekend getaway!

Very happy to spend 5 night here. Fab beach , lovely quiet town . Enjoyed 2 nights out at the Brewhouse. Quiet spot with large grassy area out front of shack for dog. Front gates and a couple of palings on the back fence need fixing to keep the place dog secure. Bed was comfortable.

Very cute little cottage, great location not far from the beach and shops. House definitely needs some upgrading both cosmetic, as well as appliances and household items.
